I know I am assuming alot at this point but I assume that once the new update comes tue/wed the yearbook will be gone. My greatest accomplishment with the yearbook is not all the stuff I got but that I managed to do it without getting anything from Clash of Clones event.
I would really love to see the Joe’s catering food truck from Last exit to springfield with an animated job for homer to yell where’s my Burrito and get hit on the head.I would also love to see Homers wife Candace from Oedipus RX and her father Roger brought into the game as characters.
I don’t seem to be getting kicked off as often as most. Just spent an hour KEM farming and designing with no issue.
Probably been covered but little confused why EA gave us tennis courts and reunion box.
By hoarding tennis courts my bonus % is now high enough I will never have to spend a real dollar on this game again. Via KEM farming.
Also have everything I didn’t have and wanted from reunion box for free. I also spent free time earning Billionaire Haven. I think I have won/ beat the game?
Like I said. Unless they kill KEM farming no more $$ from me.
I too spent my share of money on this game over the years. These days, even if I was no KEM farmer with like 2.000%, 5.000 donuts and 500.000.000$, and even if there was anything to spend money on I probably wouldn’t invest another penny. In my opinion there’s just not enough fun to be had this year and not enough faith in the game’s survival over this year to justify any more investment.
Why did they “give” us the yearbook? Probably one final fabulous payday, pulling some easy pocket money, especially from newer players, with basically no effort at all. Why did they give us stuff for 30 donuts that was 300 donuts just a few months ago? Guess they just don’t care anymore…
Why did they give us the tennis courts? Hundreds of easy %, basically for free, deliberately making farming ridiculously easy for everyone? Same answer: guess they just don’t care anymore…
They don’t need to worry about killing KEM farming when every “new” “update” basically shows how they’re gradually killing Tapped Out for good…
There’s still some really really tiny spark of hope left there might soon (maybe tomorrow, maybe next week) come a real update to prove me wrong, but I don’t really think so. My estimation at this point is rather something like: 30% another fun-less, soul-less mini or even multi mini “event”, 30% another pointless yard sale of old stuff, 30% nothing at all, 10% something good. Let’s wait and see…
I could be wrong, but I would agree with you that EA is slowly killing the game. I think it’s deliberate on their part. They’re conditioning us for the end.
Well, I gotta admit that with me personally this “conditioning” is working fairly well. I’ll definitely quit if the next update (if there will be one) will be as lame and cheap and bad as the previous ones. I really liked this game once, but in 2019 I would not recommend it to my worst enemy…
Yes, it’s EA making it so easy that concerns me most. Our only hope, as a few have mentioned is the way the game is played is going to change i.e. more difficult to accumulate donuts, percentage etc.

It must be over! There was noEaster event, and the last mini was the most disappointing of the last several years. Disney killed Nemo’s Reef and made Dory’s Reef a non-starter, so no concern about our silly game. After all they still have the vast straight to video Disney animation trash to pander on their new stream event! Sad, alas!
I love, loved Nemo’s Reef! I still have it on an old phone. I made it through with the help of TSTO to carry me through the loss of my gorgeous reef designs.
Yes, both my wife and I still bemoan its’ loss! So, it will come as no surprise to the folks that allowed a Tim Burton rehash mi smash of Dumbo to sally forth, that Tapped Out is double-Tapped Out!
Is there a compendium or something where we can read all the funny tag lines which come with a notification for a character’s job?
For instance: “Ned has finished his job, and he did it using only his left hand” or “Krusty finished a job; or rather he payed Sideshow Mel to finish it for him”
I stopped getting notifications 6 months ago… no clue
I’m still building up my $$ and 🍩 in TSTO. My GGR just switched to giving $$ only as I have enough tokens for remaining available land. Getting booted, usually during KEM farming, but if I claim/place less than 10 at a time it seems slightly better.
Playing Futrama World Of Tomorrow this week they added a Specials timer available for just under a year … Possibly a warning or a sign that FWOT will end at that time?

I got 2 updates to the game over the weekend (in game updates) the second one was 1.6gb i believe cant really remember how much the first one was i think it was about the same i cant find anything about these updates i also didn’t really notice any change does anyone over here know something about those updates? At first i thought it was another event thats finnally happening but since i couldn’t find anything about that i’m not sure anymore
You may not have sufficient space on your phone/tablet so the app tried to redownload the game. Make more room on your device and that might help

I am sending my people Mostly on 24 hour tasks these days. Kind of fun to explore some of the tasks that I was not aware of . Hard to believe after playing the game for about four years I have around 350 people and more in storage.
I hope for a new event and still am amazed at the how complex my town is with all the characters.

HI I use the Krustyland money to buy trees, but I reckon 1000000 krustyland tickets worth of trees might break the maximum number of items limit !
You can trade the tickets for in game $ at the Krustyland entrance, better than just watching them pile up.

Not that this will use up a ton of them, but there are several items (like many of the trees and flowers and some other stuff) that you can buy for either cash or tickets. You can also turn your tickets into cash, if you’ve placed the Krustyland entrance in your town.
Turn them in for cash, then use the cash for KEM or Rat Trap Truck farming for donuts
Saturday is was the birthday of or king Willem Alexander. Big parties all over Holland. The weather wasn’t that great, but at the hour of his arrival the sun 🌞 went shining.

Has anyone gone to YouTube to check if someone has found anything in an episode that “predicts” the future of the game??? Lol…
My situation is almost identical to Sandytoes74, except once in a while when I come right back from being kicked out I have one opportunity for up to 3 donuts then my xp is at exactly zero. Every morning I get booted when I’m collecting cash from buildings and tasks, then I re-enter, finish tasks and buildings, then start with rat trap trucks….I place 5 at a time. I usually get booted on the second or third round of placing 5 rat trap trucks. I re-enter, finish all little tasks, buy and place any more trucks if I can, then go to the yearbook for anything I find interesting. Hope this was of use to anyone trying to figure this out, if there is anything to figure out.

I’ve been playing TSTO for about 5 years now. The first event I remember playing was a Halloween one where I had to send kids trick or treating. I had about 9 characters at the time, so it was a challenge. I’ve gone through periods of loving the game, hating the game, and times where I’ve genuinely forgotten the game existed for months at a time.
Gotta say, if it wasn’t for that awful non-event event, I’d probably still be in my massively disinterested stage. I had a bonus of about 130% (which I thought was really good and felt more than a little smug about), was level 280-ish and had only rebuilt a few small sections of my town after a misguided nuke about a year ago. Almost everything I had was in my inventory.
Now, my place looks like an absolute mess as I’ve emptied my inventory of anything that could possibly generate monies or give bonus %. I will be building everything up in slow time, and for that, I actually appreciate this period of downtime.
I don’t know what’s next, though. I’ve got the monorail, and thanks to the yearbook I’ve got all the characters I can get to help with that and SH, which I’ve just hit the 1bn mark for. The conclusion for which was anti-climactic. I missed the GGR so I’m kinda stuck for land expansions. I’m making only about $800k per day after KEM farming for about 50 bonuts per day.
I’m now level 939, 1056% bonus and can afford to constantly have the xp generator on. Besides now actually building my town… how do I reach the great heights of the rest of you? 1000’s of donuts? 100’s of millions of dollar dollar? Seems like a distant dream at the moment.

I’ve been playing since 2012 and I remember that Halloween event. You could egg your neighbors houses, TP their trees. It was a treat for sure. My cash is at 500,000,000 and all I can say is just collect collect collect. My XP is about where yours is. Since money isn’t an issue I can generate 100 doughnuts every 4 hours but it’s a pain to do since it’s over 100 KEM. I’ve actually stopped farming until a new update since I’m at 5300 doughnuts.

Hi Bryson621, I had the same problem, I fixed it by deleting the app from my iphone then reinstalling it. Took a bit of time to download all the data
I can’t do anything in my game without Bart coming around, grrrrr
I just got a new S10+, and it is harder to play Tapped Out now. The game is smoother and prettier, but it is so zoomed in I can barely see anything! I see a couple of buildings at a time. Anyone else having this problem or know a fix for it? I’d like to see larger sections of my town

Happy tapping all 😁, or not as the case might be, kem farming, buying stuff I don’t need from the mystery box, got 1000%, 2000+doubts, 100 million cash, getting bored and just doing a 12 hour cycle apart from the character jobs am doing, got 320 characters, and a few quests still to do with a few characters still in the mystery box, hope we get answers soon from EA until then have a great week.
I get booted way too much. Long time player. I have stopped playing until something new happens. I was getting 100s of doughnuts a day, but nothing new to purchase.

Some posters here have played from the beginning, enjoyed the benefit of the occasional glitch and generally built up featured towns. When you have this in place, using the process on the link above makes for a lot of extra donuts without too much extra work
My gut feeling is we will get something to do this week… I’m enjoying my break though. Not logged on for nearly 2 weeks. Just check here each day. Far quicker than loading up my game
Finally got to 1,000% bonus. So at least this break has allowed me to build that up.
I kinda want the yearbook mystery box gone – I keep wasting my donuts in there! I sometimes have not enough donuts to replenish my xp collider when it runs out as I’m constantly using them in the mystery box. It’s alright for now as there’s nothing else to spend them on but if an event comes up I’m going to have no donuts to spend on it! Someone stop me using that mystery box!!!!!

Still making good progress, farming donuts, buying stuff from yearbook mystery box. Have just about finished grinding for all the Springfield Heights land in my 2nd world, though wish I had GGR in this world too.
Been getting disconnected quite often, though not as badly as some it would seem.
Glad you’re able to farm. I can’t even play the game without getting booted off after a few mins., and forget any farming, I lay down only a few RT’s and get the BART screen only after hitting two trucks, losing money and donuts. I still can KEM farm if I clear a few at a time.
Don’t know if this is happening to everyone but it would be interesting to know if it’s would wide or selective groups of players (like those with huge in game cash and donuts by farming) or I’m being paranoid.
Hoping for a fix soon because I quit playing, designing and trying to get my town to where I want it, until a fix is done.
Happening to me a lot today. I don’t think there is anything sinister, just server issues that they seem unwilling or unable to fix.
Oh wow that’s the exact same thing going on with me… It’s been extremely frustrating constantly getting booted off.. so I guess it ain’t just you.. 🤷
I can do about 4-6 trucks and collect. If i do more at a time i get booted off. BUT…. I log back in and it goes back to the bonus donut screen….basically picks up where it left off when i got booted. Do u try getting back on right away?
I get booted from time to time. I do find that it happens more often in the mornings and mid afternoons. To me that would be when most people are trying to access the game.
Some people say they lose their XP count when it happens.. I don’t seem to have that issue I get my cash, XP, and Bonus XP .. even if it crashes when I am in the process of collecting bonus donuts when I come back I get my donuts.
This is just an assumption but with many people redoing to redesigning their town.. might be causing overloads or glitches on the servers.
I don’t get booted as much as that but I have seen Bart error screen more in past couple weeks. Does seem to coincide with kem farming. But far from a regular error.
As another tapper mentioned try removing the App & then reinstalling it again. Takes time to download all your content but it worked for me.
How are people purchasing land once they have used their tokens?
If I had read it right.. back a while ago. They have put out equal amount of land tokens to land parcels. Meaning that once you have use up all the tokens that is it for new land parcels. You will know when there are no more land tokens left to claim when the Golden Goose Realty building only gives you money… and not a land token.
At least that was the way I understood it.
You have to have golden goose realter
Unless you have Golden Goose Realty(GGR), which generates tile certificates, you’re out of luck till they offer free tiles again during a new event. The way things are going, that may be a long wait😕.
And I’m afraid new events will start to slowly disappear. It looks like the end is near for our little game.
You can’t purchase land anymore, just tokens or win in daily challenge.
Still KEM farming a bit, and thinking about how to organize my town finally. I only have a few sections that I like aesthetically, such as my Oriental section. Still of course concerned about the long hiatus of new content, that is worrisome. One hopes they are working on some of the longstanding issues in this break.
