It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons or current Tapped Out event) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

Haven’t been able to play for a while. The update didn’t help at all. Hope they fix this situation soon.
If you have an EA account, did you try doing an uninstall/reinstall, making sure to wait until all of the updates we done before trying to log in and play? That fixed everything for me on my iPad.
Great…. Can’t even log in on my ea account now, not getting verification mail, NOTHING works i’ve have tried everything multible times. so i think this is it for me and a game i’ve played from the start, i’m locked out. I am so angry over this… well, that’s 11 years out the window, 5000 donuts wasted… i am so pissed, angry and just… frick EA games, they should really really have things under control after 11 years!
Because of the Codes for logins nowadays I guess you still have access to the email for your EA account.
There’s a Forgot Password option on the log in page as I recall – I’m always logged in so it’s been a while but that might help you.
Once the password is reset it should help if you’ve had log-in problems
Love the Halloween events. I think Zombie Sandwich is my favorite item animation. Any other favorites?
Just updated and still no joy for iOS, just a spinning donut. I’m backed up to EA but reluctant to uninstall and reinstall. Anyone else still having the problem?
I was worried..I uninstalled/reinstalled, everything has been fine since.
If you’re backed up to EA, there’s nothing to fear…all you’ll lose is the time it takes to reinstall everything. (Do wait until all of the updates are installed…ignore the enticement to play while it finishes doing that.) It’s a bit of a pain, but it’s likely to fix your issue!
So since I got the pod patch years ago now I can only get a stupid token now! Not cool. They should have a way to just get Xylem. I feel really cheated here.

I am not seeing Mighty Oak Leader in Character Collection for THOH XXXIV. Not a big deal but is experiencing this same thing?

Just noticed that they’ve now given Yahweh a 12-hour task. I’m actually sorry they did that, because I only like to send him on his 4-hour rasks that lead to the 24-hour task that earns donuts and his not having a 12-hour would occasionally save me from forgetting to send him on his next 4-hour task (or his ultimate 24-hour one). But I’m sure some folks will be happy to know that he now has a complete set of tasks!
Same here. Now I have to track him down or use the town hall(which takes forever scrolling to the Y’s) to send him on his donut tasks.
Most of the time I know where he is, because I only send him on the 4-hour tasks (except when it’s time for his 24-hour talk), and I know the pattern of tasks by heart. But, yeah…when you have to track him down it’s a pain….what I wouldn’t give for the developers to add search functionality to town hall (and inventory)!
Store the Springfield Playhouse from A Hard Play’s Night and that won’t be a problem.
My usual fun – with all the other things that give him tasks stored is he seems to always end up in the IRS blast radius of another tap and I collect without noticing then have to go track him down. Pity there’s no search or even sort Z-A in the Census !!
