Another Act has hit our games, which means it’s time for another calendar. The Summer of Our Discontent, Act 2 hit our games Friday.
Here is a basic calendar to keep track of the currency needed to unlock all 5 items.
As Graham so clearly laid out in the Rundown post, the following 5 prizes are available in Act 2:
Desert Totem Pole (Decoration)– Dunes, Dooms, and No Diners Pt. 1 and 60 
Texxon (Building)- Dunes, Dooms, and No Diners Pt. 2 and 125 
Desert Statues Bundle (2 Decorations)- Dunes, Dooms, and No Diners Pt. 3 and 100 
Desert Planet Sculpture (Decoration)- Dunes, Dooms, and No Diners Pt. 4 and 100 
Desert Casa (Building)- Dunes, Dooms, and No Diners Pt. 5 and 160
So in order to unlock all 5 prizes, you need to earn 545 . That comes out to 60.6 per day.

So here is the calendar with where players should be at the end of each day in order to be on pace to unlock all 5 prizes by the end of the Act:

I am stuck logging in too. Just started now. Logged in fine yesterday can’t now. They need to fix it
It’s likely they’re working on something and needed to turn the servers off while most are asleep or it’s an issue with the connection.
That’s hard to be sure about when there are players all over the world, but the teams are in the US mainly.
My games can’t connect right now either, but they will be back – I’m sure of that

I haven’t been able to get on in two days. I’ll just wait it out. Sorry to my friends whose towns I visit daily.
I stopped playing in the summer of 2013 and only just restarted a little over a month ago. Thank for all these resources! They make it easy to catch up… A little anyway.
Probably didn’t miss much over…11 years!!
Hahaha! Well clearly I missed almost everything… But it’s still a blast to play, and the Yearbook Box is a godsend.
I am also having trouble logging in to my town.
I had some further trouble after finally getting the re-installs to complete and log in.
Wishful thinking – they’re doing some work to add that extra land players keep asking about ??
Nothing official on it, so maybe keep trying or write off tonight and try in the morning …
( there’s no-one in the offices I could ask about it for at least 8 more hours )

I play 3 games on 3 devices.
My C Town is running on a Kindle just fine
My A town on a tablet got stuck in a Can’t Connect loop
My B town on my phone got stuck in a Critical Error loop
Tried re-installing on the affected games after my usual tricks failed and now they’re both stuck in that Critical Error loop, but I can tap the C town that was running all day – don’t ask !!
^^ used a backup device and managed to tap my A town, but couldn’t log out to get a try at the B town ?!?

It’s still a bit hit ‘n’ miss, but got the tablet re-installed and used that for the B town tap.
My phone still kept on with the Can’t Connect malarkey though, even when I stuck right on top of the router – fantastic !!
