Back at it showing off more of YOUR TSTO Towns before the game is gone! This is our final round of showoffs this way. If you still want us to see your town and show it off on video, see the bottom of this post for details on how to do so.
Alissa was flying solo here once again, so join her as she takes one final look at YOUR Springfield…with less than 24hours to go until the game is gone forever! We’re showing off your towns, riding your monorails, and taking a look at how creative YOU are! We’ve got a lot of towns to get through, so please be patient with us!

I have tried to post my video walkthrough, but I keep getting blocked because of the upload size ! DAMM
Try creating a YouTube channel or finding an online host site, or perhaps a Cloud folder.
Email often has a file-size limit, and I suspect that’s the issue.
The other options, if you can …
Compress it first in something like a Zip folder
Edit it to reduce the file size, like changing resolution or frame-rate
You can post a dropbox link in the comments without an issue.
Thank you all so much for a wonderfully creative and inspiring ten years! This blog was instrumental in turning me into a Tapped Out Addict in January 2015. It gave me the confidence and insight to explore creative gameplay within the Simpsons universe and knowing that the game is genuinely fun. And a big shout out to the creators of TSTO and the writers: Outstanding storylines, events, graphics and everything really. A massive big thank you to all involved in making this game and supporting it over the years! The players as well are such an amazing community and I am grateful to be part of this community. Big hugs.
Last, not least, thank you Alissa for including my town. A brilliant way to remember it and sharing it, I am truly touched. Godspeed, and off to new adventures.

I was hoping you’d notice and enjoy all of the old folks lined up at the gates of heaven…it was a fun, fairly recent, touch I’d added, but I know it’s impossible to set everything in the amount of time you have! Given that, you did a good job covering most of my town…the studios were the only whole section you missed, but I totally understand! I did a video for of my town and it turned out to be a 30-minute video! 😮
That’s it.. it really has gone now. I am so pleased I had a last minute change of mind & sent all 600+ characters on outside / action tasks individually as a final farewell ( and those that couldn’t went to the theatre or for drinks!). It will be nice to think they are having a bit of fun out in the ether..
Actually shed a tear when it no longer logged in, just a silly lil ole game but something pure & fun, with some very clever writing. Thank you addicts for the advice over all these years.

Meanwhile, the game gave me one final lesson this morning. Being a cheapskate, I’d only been using Land Tokens to pick up some of the new land. Realized this morning it was silly to hoard the $4 billion+ I’d accumulated, so I bought up the lot to take my final Springfield portrait with all that space still available for development. If only…
And, after that splurge, I still had $3 billion+ left. A billion really is an obscene amount of money.
Thank you, Alissa for showing off all of our towns and for the whole Addicts Team being fantastic guides throughout these crazy 13+ years of this game. For someone who downloaded TSTO as my first mobile game on my first smart phone at global launch, it is strange to say goodbye. I went from being in college to having a family with two kids during TSTO’s run! Glad it was able to last as long as it did creating some fun memories. Wishing you all the best!
