As we sit here frakkin files, pulling pics, and typing a million words a minute to get our readers the latest updates and information…we sometimes find ourselves forgetting to stop and enjoy our own games. More so our neighboreenos. So we try to make it a point to hop in n out of the towns now and then to see what cool things YOU are up to. So we have decided we want to continue to focus more attention (as if we don’t already 😛 ) on YOU…our readers. Time to time we will be peaking into your towns, checking our Flickr, and also the posts in the comments below to see what cool ideas and designs YOU have come up with to make your towns unique and…well…YOU.
So here is YOUR chance to show off all your hard work, time, donuts & in-game cash spent. Send us your work, no matter how big or small and brag about it to the world. We want you to! Then keep your eyes posted to Addicts to see if YOU end up on our “SPRINGFIELD SHOWOFF”.
Just a quick reminder that tomorrow (Tuesday, March 12th) marks the end of the State of Despair mini-event! So, if you haven’t already, finish up that prize track, purchase your last few premium items, and be prepared to see the mini-event leave our games tomorrow morning! (and hopefully, something new arrives in its place)
What are your overall thoughts on the State of Despair mini-event? Premium items you purchased? Excited to have Governor Bailey and Judge Harm in Springfield? Where have you placed the prizes? Sound off in the comments below, you know we love hearing from you!
P.S. Don’t forget your showoff submissions are due tonight at 8pm ET. Show us what you’ve done with all this stuff. Â
After a week hiatus, we finally have some new content in Springfield! A new mini-event went live in our games…State of Despair.  New event means new prizes to earn and new prizes mean it’s time for everyone’s favorite prize breakdown posts!
Remember, this event is designed to follow a series of tasks via the questline to unlock prizes.  For each of the parts of the State of Mine questline, you’ll have to earn  via various character tasks in order to unlock the prize for that part.
So let’s take a look at the fifth, and final, prize, Governor Mary Bailey…
After a week hiatus, we finally have some new content in Springfield! A new mini-event went live in our games…State of Despair.  New event means new premium characters in our stores, and they generally come loaded with their own interesting questline.
With the State of Despair mini-event arrives Judge Harm. A no-nonsense Judge, complete with her own entertaining questline. Let’s take a look at the full dialogue questline for Judge Harm, and see just what happens when we get into Harm’s way…

We’re nearly finished with the State of Despair mini-event! And now I want to see what you’ve done with all of this stuff! How you incorporated it into Springfield (or if you inventoried it), and if it’s all working for you.
So prep those towns…because we want to see what you’ve done with your Springfield! It’s always so helpful to see what others have done with all this new stuff, so send us your State of Despair inspired designs and we’ll be putting up the Showoff post, featuring your designs, on Tuesday, March 12th, 2019…so you’ve got the weekend to get your town to your liking and send in those shots!
So grab some screenshots of your town, or finish up those designs…just make sure to send your submissions in by about 8pm ET MONDAY, March 11th, 2019. Can’t wait to see what YOU have come up with.
You can send your designs in two ways…either post a link to the image in the comments on this post or you can email them to us at TSTOAddictsblog@gmail.com. Â We won’t be pulling images from anywhere else, so please if you want to be featured either submit in the comments below or email your images to us.
Note: PLEASE try to limit your submissions to only 1-2 of your favorite screenshots.  We like to try and let everyone showoff their town but it becomes difficult when some of you are sending in 7-10 images.  Pick your favorite areas and send them in (or if you stitch photos together, that works too).  We’ll try our best to get EVERYONE in, but please understand that sometimes we miss a photo or two.  If we miss you one week, we’ll try really hard to make sure we get you in the next week.  You’re always welcome to showoff your town, at any time, on our Flickr page.  We know a lot of you have awesome towns that you want to show off, but please try to stick with this week’s theme. Remember, this isn’t a contest.  There’s nothing to win.  It’s just a fun way to showoff your town and get some design inspiration from your fellow Addicts.  🙂  Â
Do you want to be featured on the next Springfield Showoff?  Post your images  in the Comments below or email us your screenshots at TSTOAddictsblog@gmail.com. We can’t wait to see YOUR designs! (Need help with images, just ask.)Â

Business as usual in our pocket-sized towns. After a short hiatus, TSTO is back with an all-new mini-event in our towns, State of Despair! Of course, an all-new mini-event gives EA an excuse to stock our stores with returning premium content in our stores, just tempting us to drop those pink sprinkles!
As we all know, that limited-time label can tempt us to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon.  But don’t sweat it!  That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add the returning Little Lady Justice, Five Corners or Rose Quimby to your Springfield?  Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding these throwbacks to your town…
Another day, another Mystery Box arrives in Springfield! This time, it’s a Political Box full of everyone’s favorite topic, politics. #scarcasm
This is a premium box full of your chance to get those limited-time premium character/building/decorations with a political flair to them.  By now we should all be familiar with how Mystery Boxes work, so let’s jump to the breakdown of what’s inside…
