Another day, another Mystery Box arrives in Springfield! This time, it’s a Political Box full of everyone’s favorite topic, politics. #scarcasm
This is a premium box full of your chance to get those limited-time premium character/building/decorations with a political flair to them. By now we should all be familiar with how Mystery Boxes work, so let’s jump to the breakdown of what’s inside…
This Mystery Box is a great way to get items you may have missed out on from Previous Events at a low price…
And…if you already have everything in the box you won’t see the box in your store.
So for 65 donuts, you can have your shot at a variety of politically inspired premium characters, skins, decorations, and buildings from events of the past! 65 Donuts is equal to or less than the initial value for each item (unless they were initially prizes, in that case, they were originally free)

Now, while I know you can’t pick and choose which items you want from the box, I included the Should I Buy (or details) posts from the past so y’all can see how much they originally cost & what specifically each building/character does.
65 donuts is a fair price for most of the items at least. So my thoughts are, if you have something in there you want…give it a try. You’ll likely get something worth it.

I got Eisenhower’s 4×4 w/Eisenhower and then Adil Hoxha. Once I get a few more donuts I’m going for a third 🙂
With the exception of the Republican HQ (lol over which Characters get to go there), there are some good Character Building Combos for 65 sprinkles! 😀
It could be that the Mystery Box is the true reward giver during this Mini Event, because most of the Event Prizes are 💩 (one Character, one Building, the rest is 💩 Decor!)
I only had the presidents in my box. I am one of those that prefers Simpsons characters but at 65 donuts it is heard to say no to that. I bought them call.
I know that St. Patrick’s day is almost upon us(so most likely the reason for the banner change), but do you know if previous St. Patrick’s day content will return during or after this mini event?

Are the buildings generating currency faster than before or are you able to tap them at any time and get how much currency has accumulated over a certain period of time?
Also, does the Skyfinger Monument work with the XP Collider?
Currency accumulation: I’m pretty sure that only applies to a very small number of characters/decorations, and not generally to buildings. (For instance, the Krustyland visitors and the Spuckler kids accumulate over time, up to a certain point.) I’ve seen no indication that currency is coming in any faster than before — but a number of things could possibly have happened which might give you that impression, in your own Springfield… such as perhaps your bonus percentage has increased recently because of something you purchased or something you did, and you simply didn’t notice.
Skyfinger/Collider: I haven’t tried to do the math, but I’m mostly certain that the two work together, when Skyfinger is working as intended. Apparently some people are (or were?) having difficulty getting Skyfinger to yield the proper results. It didn’t seem to work right for me either, the first couple of times… but now it seems to be working right; it basically just takes a shortcut, bypassing a lot of the currency collecting animations and pushing through the math really fast instead.
I would love to see either Gerald Ford or George H W Bush in a 4th of July event. Given Bush’s recent passing might seem a little irreverant though.

Too bad I didn’t get a box at all this time… I remember how happy I was last summer emptying the 4th of July box!.. oh well, emptying boxes comes with a price…
it’s okay, I remember there is at least 1 president left to buy, and probably someone new this 4th! Can’t wait.
I got Lincoln and Eisenhower, and was happy with that so stopped. Happy with the integration of both into my design 😊🇬🇧

First time I’ve skipped a mystery box. Aside from Adil, there is nothing I want. I guess it all averages out cause last time I emptied the box!
It’s interesting how tastes change from player to player. This is the first time where I actually wanted most of the contents in a box, so much so that I spent real-life money for donuts to open a few extras.
Oh well, different folks, different strokes and all that jazz.
So do you have a special themed area for these items? If so, please post a pic. I would like to see how you used the items.
I liked the last mystery box because most of the items were building plus character and I needed a variety of buildings to fill out my town.
I used the donuts I saved for this mystery box to buy Jessica Lovejoy and the crazy cat lady. So I am happy to have a couple more premium characters in the game.
I didn’t do anything too special with them yet – still a work in progress. I can’t post photos at the moment, but the two that have worked out pretty well are Lincoln’s cabin and the Teddy’s National Park. The cabin I put out on my fringes where I have Cletus’ farm, Piece of crap car, and some detris. Lots of trees around, nice and wooded. National Park I put (also) out on the fringes of my town with the Shelbyville Mountain and Contraception Overlook. Lots of trees too. This one came out really nice in my opinion.
The other four boxes I opened were Adil, Cargill, Presidential Estate, and Nixon/Scandal-Gate. The Pres. estate I didn’t want, and don’t have a good place for, while the Scandal-gate surprisingly fits well within my town core.
I was really hoping for ‘ol Georgie W, but i have 1/4 odds of getting him and have Kamp Kusty and the Pet Shop in my vault this week, so I’m torn between saving or spending. Stupid choices.
Wish they made Freedom available a la carte; I already have the Presidential Estate, but bought it when it was not bundled with Freedom (and I want him!).
Presidents only come around once a year right? That’s why I emptied the box.

Is anyone else having issues with the land tokens from the realty company? The land token sometimes disappears after tapping on it.
I am too I tapped on GGR and went to use token and it was not there to use

I took a chance and got George Washington and the cherry tree. Not what I hoped for but 60 donuts is much better than the original price of 180. Might try again for something better.

I’ve bought 2 so far and got Russ Cargill and Abe Lincoln and cabin!! I’m hoping to save enough for another before event ends as I really love ye old oak tree or anything that’s a little old haha.. oh and I lurvee the pigeon feeder think it’s a brill addition to our towns.. 😊

Got Nixon last time this was out. This time, Adil and Abe. Can’t complain about this bundle offer.
