Grab your Santa hats and break out the tinsel because it’s Christmas time in Springfield! Yes the annual TSTO Christmas event has arrived in our pocket-sized towns, covering our usual perfect weather towns with a fresh blanket of bright, white, snow!
While the Christmas event, and snow, are annual the structure of this event is anything but! This is the first major event in Springfield that’s structured like a mini-event. Christmas consists of 4 parts (or Acts), with each part lasting a week and taking us through a new part of the Simpsons Christmas Special!
With Act 3 (week 3) arrives two new premium characters, Young Abe and Young Artie Ziff. Each of these premium characters comes equipt with their own individual questlines, so let’s take a look at the full dialogue questline of each…
IMPORTANT READ THIS BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING:Ok before I get into week 3, for the love of God READ THIS! Guys, I’m seriously about to lose my ever-lovin’ mind! –IF YOU ARE HAVING TROUBLE WITH THE PAGEANT STAGE GO HERE -IF YOU’RE LOOKING FOR THE GREYHOUND SLEIGH FOR SANTA’S LITTLE HELPER’S TASK, IT’S CURRENTLY NOT IN THE GAME! Relax, nothing is broken. It’ll unlock before the event is over. So please, stop asking.
Thank you!
Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
It’s officially 10am here on the East Coast which means it’s officially time to start Act 3 (week 3) of A Simpsons Christmas Special!
Now if you remember, week 2 ended with Marge declaring it was her turn to tell a story…because everyone loves a good romance!
Christmas is Canceled Pt. 4 Auto starts
Homer: *slow clap* Wow! What a story! I never could have predicted Officer Savage was a bad guy. Lisa: That’s my point. There was nothing prior to the big reveal to indicate, however subtly, that– Bart: Face it, Lisa. The public loved my story. And the ignorant masses are never wrong about these things. Marge: I don’t know, that story was a little violent for me. There were so many car chases and explosions! Homer: The bedrock of any great story is car chases and explosions. Aristotle said that. Marge: What about a good romance? Everyone loves love. Homer: The trick is to find the right amount of nudity. Brief enough that it doesn’t damage the children, but long enough that I give a damn.
(Please don’t ask me about this dialogue. This dialogue is what appears when you FINISH the week 2 questline. It does not appear when week 3 starts. So if you finished week 2 you already saw this, if you didn’t finish week 2 you didn’t see it yet and if you just finished week 2 seconds before week 3 hit you’ll see it…)
And now, here’s the kick off dialogue you’ll see this morning (and a look at what’s in store for Act 3)…
Just a quick reminder that at 0800 GMT (3am EDT) Act 2 will officially end. And the end of Act 2 will also see the end of Crafting AND the Daily Challenges. So collect those final mistletoe, craft those prizes and complete this week’s Daily Challenges BEFORE 0800 GMT tomorrow morning (1/2/16)…or it will be too late!
Act 3 will start tomorrow…BUT Act 3 is completely different than Act 2. As in…everything we’ve been doing for Acts 1 and 2 will completely change. So don’t expect anything in Act 2 to continue beyond tomorrow morning.
Again…for those who don’t really like to read…the bullet points:
–CRAFTING WILL END TOMORROW 0800 GMT 1/2/16 (so craft what you want before it’s too late)
–ACT 2 WILL END TOMORROW 0800 GMT 1/2/16 (this means ALL of the prizes and ability to upgrade the buildings…)
–DAILY CHALLENGES WILL END TOMORROW 1/2/16 ( either at 0800 GMT or 5am YOUR local time so finish this week’s challenges BEFORE tomorrow morning, or you’ll miss out on this week’s donuts)
If you didn’t yet get Maggie…don’t worry. She’s an important part of Act 3, and required for most of it, so you WILL be able to get her in Act 3 if you weren’t able to get her during Act 2…so don’t panic about Maggie.
Also, remember the items in the store will be leaving with Act 2 as well…so check out your stores and buy anything/everything you’ve been wanting (this includes the freemium items in the store as well…pay attention to your timers).
Have fun and we’ll see you tomorrow for the start of Act 3….
What are your thoughts on Act 2? Did you enjoy it? Earn all the prizes? Almost there? Did you unlock Maggie? Which items did you craft/purchase? Sound off in the comments below, you know we love hearing from you!
