THOH Act 2 is Nearing the End…

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Just a little reminder that Act 2 of the THOH Event is set to end tomorrow morning at 0800 GMT (technically 3am EST, but EA’s times have been a little off, so this could hit at 0900 GMT and 4am EST. So if it doesn’t hit right at 3am, we may have to wait an hour). So you’ve got a few hours left to collect those last minute Gummies and unlock the remaining Act 2 Prizes (for free).

So what will happen to the Act 2 Prizes when Act 3 hits? Just like when Act 1 ended and Act 2 started, you’ll be able to purchase the remaining Act 2 prizes you missed for Donuts. So if you don’t want to spend a ton of Donuts to get those last prizes…collect as many gummies as you can in the next couple of hours.

What about the crafting prizes/currency? What items will be disappearing? What happens when Act 3 starts? Let’s address some of your concerns below the fold…

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Well here we are, in most Tappers favorite time of the year in Springfield….Halloween! The leaves on the tress have changed colors, the water is murky and there’s a darkness that falls over our TSTO screens. All of these effects fit in perfectly with this year’s theme….Nightmares.

This Event is broken up into 3 Acts, with each Act containing part of the story. To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Act. Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event. For the second Act you’re tasked with collecting Gummies () to unlock each prize!

The third Act 2 prize awarded at 2,160 (or +1,620 from unlocking the Mechanical Ghost) is Clockwork Bart, an all new costume for everyone’s favorite prankster Bart!

So let’s take a closer look at this third prize and just what happens when you unlock it in your Springfield…

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

This Event is broken up into 3 Acts, with each Act containing part of the story. To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Act. Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event. For the Second Act you’re tasked with collecting Elder God Gummies () to unlock each prize!

The first Act 2 prize awarded at 180 is a supply of Crafting Resources to help you craft fun prizes during the event!

And the second Act 2 prize awarded at 540 (or +360, from Prize 1) is the Mechanical Ghost…a Ga-ga-ga- Ghost for your Springfield…

So let’s take a closer look at these first two prizes and just what happens when you unlock them in your Springfield…

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Just a little reminder that Act 1 of the THOH Event is set to end tomorrow morning at 0800 GMT (4am EDT). So you’ve got a few hours left to collect those last minute S’mores and unlock the remaining Act 1 Prizes (for free).

So what will happen to the Act 1 Prizes when Act 2 hits? Well, like every event, we don’t know for sure. Our guess is they’ll at least be available for purchase via donuts…but we won’t know for sure what will happen until Act 2 officially starts. So do all you can, while you can.

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Well here we are, in most Tappers favorite time of the year in Springfield….Halloween! Candy Time!

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Candy time is back! For a this weekend (it looks like this ends Monday 11/10 at 0800GMT) you can purchase Candy (and nails) from the store! Of course to do so you’ll have to spend donuts, but they’re actually priced fairly well. (At least in my opinion anyway…)

Here’s what you can get:

It looks like all the prizes from the Gold and Silver Treat bags can be purchased…which is great if you’re struggling to collect Pumpkins or Chocolates! 🙂

Remember…this will disappear on 11/10 at 0800GMT (4 am EDT)…since the event is coming to a close, this will be the LAST chance to get them.

Tapped Out Halloween Walkthrough: U.B.O

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Well….unless you’ve been living under a rock you know that Halloween has arrived in Springfield! A dark haze has over taken the streets of Springfield and Aliens are on the attack! By now we’re all busy squishing and stopping those aliens dead in their tracks….and earning as many Long Protein Strings as we can!

With this event EA is trying something new (for them) and releasing items/prizes in phases. Two prizes each phase, three phases, for a total of 6 prizes all together. For the third phase, which lasts 12 days and ends 11/12 (0800GMT), you can win 2 prizes by collecting Long Protein Strings. The second (and final of the event) prize awarded at 14,900 Long Protein Strings is the U.B.O.

The U.B.O is an all new skin for Mr. Burns and comes complete with a full set of tasks and an amusing little questline! We’ve already broken down the details of unlocking the U.B.O…now let’s take a look at the funny humor of the questline he comes with!
