How Does the THOH 2016 Stack Up to the Past?

First of all, I realize that we are barely 1/3 into the huge THOH 2016 update in TSTO.  However, while I realize that Alissa is resolute in her decision not to talk about items we haven’t seen in the game before they actually come out, I am going to break that rule and talk about some things we are going to see in Act II and Act III.  I, like many of you, sneak off to some of the “spoiler sites” and can tell you that what I have seen is…

Uhm. Ok. So I won’t be talking about a lot of items that are coming in Act II and Act III. Holyfreakinshirt...That girl is everywhere…and she has some really threatening emojis!!

Actually…I really don’t need to talk about what’s coming, because I have a pretty clear opinion about how THOH 2016 stacks up with previous offerings.

Candy Time!

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Candy time is back!   For a this weekend (it looks like this ends Monday 11/10 at 0800GMT) you can purchase Candy (and nails) from the store!  Of course to do so you’ll have to spend donuts, but they’re actually priced fairly well.  (At least in my opinion anyway…)

Here’s what you can get:

It looks like all the prizes from the Gold and Silver Treat bags can be purchased…which is great if you’re struggling to collect Pumpkins or Chocolates!  🙂

Remember…this will disappear on 11/10 at 0800GMT (4 am EDT)…since the event is coming to a close, this will be the LAST chance to get them.

Goodbye Phase 2, Hello Phase 3: Long Protein Strings Are Here!

FYI Make SURE you update your game in the App Store (I know it’s on Google Play, not sure on the others…please let me know).  This Update will ensure you have the PROPER Version of Phase 3 (you should be earning 5 Protein Strings/squish…if you’re only earning 3 Update)

Update 8:45am EDT: UltraHouse 2 is back as well…i’ve updated it below.  Also, for those wondering…you can still craft prizes from the Probes Prize box.  So if you missed out on those they’ll still be there as well.

Also…wondering if you’re the only one who can craft another Hover-Copter?  You’re not.  Apparently it’s going around.  If you look in your Ray Gun Prize box it may show that you didn’t win it, even if you did.  Mine’s showing no Hover-Copter…but it’s still in my Springfield.  So yes…you can craft another one.  BUT I wouldn’t.  1. you don’t know if it’ll be able to be placed in your Springfield and 2. why spend the items on that when there is new stuff to craft?

It’s a new day in Springfield…and that means it’s time to find a new piece of Moe’s clothes!  In case you missed it, Thursday’s update introduced THOH Trivia, a new challenge where each day you’ll have to have Homer find a new article of Moe’s clothing in order to unlock an all new costume for Moe!
