It is update time in Springfield my friends! And summer is in full swing in our Pocket-Sized Towns! Of course, an all-new event means all-new premium content in our stores, just tempting us to drop those pink sprinkles!
As we all know, that limited-time label can tempt us to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add Paul Flart and the Mt. Splashmore Slide to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this water combo to your town…
It is update time in Springfield my friends! It’s summertime in our pocket-sized towns, and what better way to beat the heat than a waterpark?! But will Bart be tall enough to ride Devil’s Deluge? How will it work out with the waterpark cop? You’ve got to play the update to find out.
Let’s dive into the Turbo Tappin’ Version for the Splash and Burn mini-event questline, and see just how to unlock all of the exciting prizes…
Yesterday, an app store update hit our games to remove the Dog Days Event (change the splash screen back to normal). And, today a brand-new mini-event started up in our towns! (as long as you’ve downloaded the update)
You’ll need Homer, Carl, Lenny, and 3 Springfielders free for 6s tasks to start things, and then you’ll need Homer, Bart, and Lisa for another series of 6s tasks. This will kick off the event for you…
App store update is out for the next update in TSTO. This will not go live until tomorrow (7/27) at 11am ET but for now download the update so you’re ready when it’s set to go live.
This update shakes out to be another mini-event, called Splash and Burn. As always with mini-events, we don’t release spoilers unless they’re given to us by EA. So more details will follow when the event launches tomorrow. For now here are some shots of what’s to come directly from the game…
That’s it for now. Nothing to do but download the update and wait for it to launch at 11am ET tomorrow (Wednesday July 28th). Oh and make sure you’ve gotten everything out of the shattered dreams box if you wanted something…that will disappear when this event starts up!
It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons or current Tapped Out event) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.
So, here is your Open Thread…..
Lots of things you may have missed this week around the Addicts Site:
Now that the Dog Days Event is over, it can be a bit overwhelming to take a look at the prize haul and figure out just what to do with everything. With an event that ran 5 weeks (almost), it can be hard to remember what arrived with week 1 and want it did. It can also be hard just remembering what the heck came with this event.
While I break down each item individually and include character tasks there, if there are any, it can be difficult to remember just who goes where. So I’ve compiled one list of all the character tasks associated with a building. Now you’ve got one place to go back and look to see which character animates which building from the Dog Days Event.
Your senses can evoke powerful memories in you. The smell of saltwater can trigger you back to your youth spent at the beach, the touch of cotton can bring you back to memories of your mom, and hearing sounds of TSTO can bring back countless hours spent tap, tap, tapping away.
So let’s take a trip down memory lane via the sound effects of TSTO…
Just a reminder that the Dog Days Event Ends TOMORROW July 20th.
It’s time to for the dogs to disappear and for something new to arrive in Springfield!
As far as questlines go, what’s happened in the past is that the current prize you’re working on (on any Act questline) you were able to finish. Once that current prize was completed then the questline disappeared.
This means that you will want to make that final push to gather up all the things you want from the Event before it goes with the Event.
