So very early in the Halloween Event, (can you remember back to Act 1?) the four main kids for the THOH Event each told a Spooky Story at the Campfire.  Each of these stories are what spawned the nightmares to appear in Springfield….

There have been requests for us to post these stories, as some of you missed them from tappin’ too fast.  So we figured what better time than the end of the event to post the spooky stories that sparked the event from Act 1?  So gather ’round the campfire, becaus without further ado I bring you the spooky campfire stories of Act 1….

THOH Prize Guide: Act 3, Prize 3…Holiday Homer

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Well here we are, in most Tappers favorite time of the year in Springfield….Halloween!   The leaves on the tress have changed colors, the water is murky and there’s a darkness that falls over our TSTO screens.  All of these effects fit in perfectly with this year’s theme….Nightmares.

This Event is broken up into 3 Acts, with each Act containing part of the story.  To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Act.  Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event. For the Third, and final, Act you’re tasked with collecting Candy Apples (ico_thoh2015_candyapple_md) (yes I know they look like Caramel Apples, but the game is calling them Candy Apples) to unlock each prize!

The third Act 2 prize awarded at 2,160 ico_thoh2015_candyapple_md (or +1,620ico_thoh2015_candyapple_md from unlocking Apu’s Jeep) is Holiday Homer, an all new costume for Homer!

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Well here we are, in most Tappers favorite time of the year in Springfield….Halloween! The leaves on the tress have changed colors, the water is murky and there’s a darkness that falls over our TSTO screens.  All of these effects fit in perfectly with this year’s theme….Nightmares.

This Event is broken up into 3 Acts, with each Act containing part of the story.  To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Act.  Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event.  For the Third, and final, Act you’re tasked with collecting Candy Apples (ico_thoh2015_candyapple_md) (yes I know they look like Caramel Apples, but the game is calling them Candy Apples) to unlock each prize!

Back with another edition of Addicts Question Corner, this time addressing your Act 3 concerns.

This post is based around the most common questions we’re seeing asked in the comments.  And it’s designed to help you understand the event a little bit better..or at the very least make you feel like you’re not going crazy with an issue you’re having.  So…if you’re stuck somewhere, seeing something strange or just not sure what’s going on read this post first.  If you don’t see the help then ask your question.  I’m going to try and address every major question we’re seeing in this one post.  So hopefully this will help those that are still stuck/confused out.

THOH Act 2 is Nearing the End…

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Just a little reminder that Act 2 of the THOH Event is set to end tomorrow morning at 0800 GMT (technically 3am EST, but EA’s times have been a little off, so this could hit at 0900 GMT and 4am EST.  So if it doesn’t hit right at 3am, we may have to wait an hour).  So you’ve got a few hours left to collect those last minute Gummies and unlock the remaining Act 2 Prizes (for free).

So what will happen to the Act 2 Prizes when Act 3 hits?  Just like when Act 1 ended and Act 2 started, you’ll be able to purchase the remaining Act 2 prizes you missed for Donuts.  So if you don’t want to spend a ton of Donuts to get those last prizes…collect as many gummies as you can in the next couple of hours.

What about the crafting prizes/currency?  What items will be disappearing?  What happens when Act 3 starts?  Let’s address some of your concerns below the fold…

Tapped Out Premium Walkthroughs: Mr. Burns and the Sepulcher of Evil

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

So yesterday saw the arrival of a “creepy” Halloween Gil Deal for the Sepulcher of Evil.  For 225 donuts this large evil decoration could be yours.

We broke down the pros and cons of this Gil Deal yesterday, and one of the pros is that it came with a questline for Mr. Burns.  It’s a 5 part questline full of some fun and humor, with an awesome task for Burnsy at the Sepulcher of Evil.

So let’s take a look at the walkthrough that appears if/when you purchase this Gil Deal…and just what Evil Mr. Burns has planned!

THOH 2015 101: How To Earn Gummies in Act 2

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Act 2 is upon us and Springfield has gotten  bit more…risqué.  At least the adults have anyway.  Must be a full moon or too much candy.  Or maybe, as the game dialogue suggests, they’re really under a spell from the M’nthster…we’ll have to wait for Act 3 to find out what’s REALLY going on.

Anyway…as Act 1 changed into Act 2 so did the prize currency we’re supposed to collect.  We’ve now gone from earning S’mores in Act 1 to earning Gummies in Act 2.  So let’s take a look at all the ways we can earn those yummy gummies to unlock all of the Act 2 prizes….
