UPDATE ON SERVERS: Hey Tappers…just real quick. The Origin servers are going CRAZY with the update and everyone downloading it. So you’ll see a lot of Bart Screens as it attempts to reconnect to the server (keeps happening to me on ALL devices). Just be patient and keep retrying. It will let you back in. 🙂

The Valentine’s Update is live on iOS (Version 4.7.1)! So be sure to login to iTunes to download the update! 
Android users the update is live for you now too! However, in both my Tablet and my phone I didn’t see the new graphic or info on the update screen. It still showed the old graphic like this:
We’re seeing a lot of comments about Level Rollback issues caused with this update….it happened to me on my B game as well (I started it with my iPad). If you’re experiencing Level Rollback issues refer to this post about Level 38 Rollback glitches other Tappers experienced when level 38 launched initially.
Incidentally I started my A game on my GS4 Android phone and no rollback issues.

Origin Changes!! (I know how much you guys love those!) We’ll do a full post on this shortly BUT just wanted to show you a few changes to Origin that I think are pretty cool!
The first you’ll notice (on iOS and Android) right at the login screen. It looks different now…it’s pretty 🙂 Here’s what mine looks like:
Next change is on your friends screen. Now you can actually see all of your friends on 1 Origin screen broken up into categories:
You’ll notice you can also log in with Facebook (although i’ve been doing this for a while now) and see your Facebook Friends that play TSTO!
Finally…the last BIG change is….THEY BROUGHT BACK UNFRIENDING SOMEONE TO THE GAME ITSELF! Woo-Hoo! Now you can delete lazy neighbor-eenos right from TSTO…Sweet! In addition you can also Tap on a friend to see how often they play and when they last logged on to TSTO:
OH and I forgot to mention….Your friends are now in Alphabetical Order! How sweet is that?!

Why are you still in iOS 6?
If you’re asking me…it’s because I have an original iPad. I’ve since moved far far away from Apple products and into the world of Android. So when I went to replace the iPad I went with a Galaxy Tab instead, to go with my Galaxy phone 🙂 I just keep the iPad for updates (since Apple usually gets them first).
I am on android, when I load the game its says I have to update to continue. I click update and go to google play and it says update not available in your country. The country is Hawaii.. What gives??
Most likely just a glitch. If you have an origin account try Uninstalling the app and redownloading it. That should clear it up. 🙂
I also have the game on an iPhone and it wont update either.

I didn’t go through all the comments so I really don’t know if anyone else asked it before or not… if so, sorry.
Anyone else noticed that while going through your neighbors tapping on done squidport parts they no longer give you more xp than it did before? I really liked it because I can’t afford to spend real money on the game, and leveling up gave me a few donuts… and now it’s gone. I’m so sad 🙁
I’m also using an android device and I couldn’t find the way I can delete lazy neighbors..
Temporarily suspended during the event. This is so that your neighbors will tap your characters to help you earn hearts. You’ll notice when you visit a neighbor you can only tap on characters at this point and not on buildings etc. 🙂
As far as neighbors go, we’re going to do a detailed Origin post shortly with images, so sit tight 🙂
Are we supposed to get 200 hearts for the Valentine roses, if so any ideas why I am showing only 50 and 100xp. Any advice would be appreciated.
The 200 is the reward for completing part 1 of the main quest. It’s that little pop up box that appears when you’ve completed part of a quest as your reward (bonus) for that part of the quest. 🙂
Can I still access my origin profile through the game? The TSTO home screen says settings can be changed in the profile, but I can’t seem to find it…
When you say profile not sure what you mean. If you mean the basics (like name etc) you’ll have to do that from the Origin website (origin.com). But if you mean neighbors, etc. just tap on the Bart and Milhouse icon from your neighbor page and it’ll show you all of your neighbors and allow you to make changes that way. 🙂
I started growing actual corn before updating my tsto through Google play store lol! 65,000 plus cash and 15,000 xp! thanks EA 😉

Maybe a new glitch? Popped into the game and had a number of characters with Be Mine over their heads. Went into Krustyland, cuz if I don’t do it right away it crashes. Back out of K-land and all the floating Be Mines were gone! Sigh…

I promise to have a completely DESTROYED town. Always in chaos. Always redesigning. Many crazy 2D and 3D art pieces will pop up at all times. You will go hopping mad. Just sayin 😉
Stackables has been hotfixed. Tiles now give small XP and money and you can no longer exit a neighbours city (after tile/ch6/openstage tapping) and re-enter to re-tap those items, they can only be tapped once now every 24hrs.
Now, using my kindle, It says that i need to update to play, I click update and it sends me to the app store that says no updates are available.
My Mom plays on a Kindle. Last update, the only way she was able to update her game was to uninstall and reinstall. This time her Kindle automatically updated. Sometimes the update can take a little with Kindle. Sorry I can’t be of more help.
I uninstalled and after the reinstall, it appears to have updated. Thanks for your help

DON’T PANIC!! Standard Rollback glitch. Follow the link in this post and try some troubleshooting to see if you can get it back sooner. Otherwise, give it a bit and it will return. 😉

I just downloaded update but before the game starts it keeps saying CANNOT CONNECT TO SERVER??? idk was wrong
Lots of folks trying to get on making it wonky. I’m able to get in about 50% of the time right now.
Same. “Origin network could not be reached.” So frustrating.
So wait – I need a corn clarification. I clicked on Plant roses, and it autocompleted my corn (which had about 80 days left, although I SWEAR I didn’t click off all the thumbs up on my first corn crop!) and I got something close, if not exactly the 45k + exp.
When I finish planting roses, will my corn replant? Or if I have to replant, will I have 90 days or 80 days left?
You will have to replant and start from scratch. EA wanted to avoid a lynch mob by not allowing all those waiting to get their payout they deserved. 😉
Yeah, but that’s going to give EA 45-60 days to fix the corn glitch. I swear they stole the thumbs from my last crop.

I think the squidport glitch might have finally been fixed. It does not work for me anymore… Tried it with multiple family accounts to no avail… Still hoping it’ll kick back in somehow….otherwise enjoying the new update!
Funny thing is I still have a lot of handshakes on my items I have yet to tap. I will soon. I will miss the glitch if it is indeed gone for good.
It’s been 7 hours and 15 days since the servers took our game away….well maybe not that long. But I hate the overload they experience right off the bat lol
Really please they brought the new features in. I just wish they would sort out the lag and unplayable issue when playing on the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition.
Have you contacted them? Give them some feedback and let them know issues, hopefully there is a patch in the works for it.
Yeah I logged a ticket after Christmas and got the usual troubleshooting steps and when that didn’t didn’t work they were escalating it to a specialist team which I have chased up with them again today. It doesn’t seem to be a problem with just me. I found several threads on the EA forums with the same issues. I keep living in hope they fix it soon.

The update is in your device market, not the game itself (Apple or Google Play Market). So make sure you check there for the update.
I think it’s convnient that they made us grow roses at the farm. It will slow down the moonshine glitch for those who don’t have the SP, OS, and CH 6 news. Will the roses glitch too or is it a 1 time grow to start the event?
I am unsure on the roses. Right now my focus is grabbing any and all content for the update and getting it all into posts for you. Then I will look into the lil stuffs. 😉
Does anyone know if the squidport glitch has been “fixed”? I just clicked on a neighbours tile and got cash instead of xp 🙁
You should get BOTH cash and XP
Sorry, I mean before you got loads of xp usually 175+ now you get the usual cash and xp as per any other click.
It depends on the persons tile on what the payout would be. Something could have changed on their end too. I will check into the glitch a bit later to see what I can find out. 😉

Updated and found the Duff Blimp and Greenpeace boat missing, so I tried restarting and reinstalling, but now I can’t log in to Origin. The error message comes up so fast that it doesn’t even seem to be tried to connect. I guess I’ll just have to wait. I just started playing since the Christmas event started, so this is my first time starting an event from the beginning. Maybe I should’ve waited a bit.
It is the standard glitches that hit with a new update. Lots of people crashing servers all at once worldwide. It is on overload. Lol
The servers will be back once things calm down and your stuff should return. Standard rollback glitch effecting lots of folks including our very own Alissa the Amazing. Deep breaths.
Thanks Bunny and Wookie. I did finally get back in and everything appears to be fine now. The roses originally showed as 12 hours for me, but they went to 22 hours (24 minus the two hours spent in limbo when I couldn’t log in).
Glad it worked.

Haha, it’s not a problem. I still had 3000 donuts left over from Gil’s deal. They’ve been burning a hole in my pocket … er … donut box! After buying it though I realize that it was probably not worth it. Oh well, live and learn. 🙂

Yeah, I was happy to see that at least it made noise and had an animation to go with it. On another note, ouch! I sped up the first 24 hour rose growing task to get to the story line and the next thing is to grow roses three times! That’s 72 hours or 36 donuts. I guess they got tired of people speeding through the event and figured that they would make us pay for our impatience. I’m going to try to resist speeding it up, but how long will I be able to hold out?!
Lol. It is also why I think they keep giving us tasks that involve ALL the characters. Getting us to pace ourselves. Meh…I will still Turbo Tap if anything for the blog’s and our readers sake. 😉

Try restarting your device?
If you are using an android phone then your device might have already done the bulk download, my tabled needed me to download via play but my phone didn’t
