With all the romance in the air, it seems only natural that EA would give us a “classy” restaurant. Sure, you could take your Marge to a fancy establishment like the Guilded Truffle, but that would be boring, right? There’s nothing that says elegance and refinement like a restaurant made from a hollowed out airplane.
Valentine’s Day has arrived in Springfield! But, with all of the new Valentine’s premium items that are limited-time it may be overwhelming trying to decide which items to buy and what to pass on. With that limited-time label on items I know it can be tempting to just buy everything you can. But, have no fear! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth your donuts & what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add the Up, Up and Buffet! to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button, let’s break down the Pros and Cons of adding this restaurant to your Springfield.

Well, we’ve been here for just about 6 months and still going strong. While you have been following all our madness, you may be wondering just who are “these people” blogging about TSTO. Well, in honor of our 6 month mark, we decided to unveil a little bit more about ourselves. At Addicts, we like to think of ourselves as a different kind of blog team. Every one on Addicts is actually cool with each other and we work behind the scenes every day to bring you what you hopefully think of as the Best. Site. Ever.
Alright, getting to the point. We’ve been at this crazy TSTO blogging gig since August and every day I find myself truly humbled that thousands of folks come here just to see what we have to say about The Simpsons Tapped Out. I know I like to actually know a little about the authors I read, so I figured I’d take the chance to take you away momentarily from all the Valentine’s Day Event Madness and tell you about my least favorite subject… ME.
I’m well aware that some people don’t care so if ya don’t, cool by me. Just don’t click more. I’m sure there’s one or two other things here to pique you interest.

Well the 2014 Valentine’s Day Update has brought us not 1 but 2 premium characters…AND they’re both female! Woo-hoo more ladies in TSTO! We figured what better time than now to Turbo Tap the premium stuff!
For those of you who don’t know Turbo Tappin’ is our quick version of a walkthrough for the Level/Update/Character where we give you who starts the quest, the task and what you earn. This way you have your quick guide on who to keep free and when. This is great for our fellow Addicts who love to copy and paste the walkthrough into their device for quick reference. This week is special around the Addicts Offices because Friday marks 6 months since the launch of TSTOAddicts.com! Woo-hoo! I know it may seem silly to celebrate a 6 month anniversary, but Wookiee, Bunny & I are silly people! We even celebrated our 1 month anniversary back in September!
We’re always celebrating little milestones with each other and we LOVE to share the bigger ones with you guys! So in addition to our regular posts about Valentine’s Day, we’ve got some really awesome things in store for you all this week! So get ready to celebrate with the Addicts! (just don’t ask me to share Bunny’s “water”…I tapped into her reserves and it’s mine all mine! 🙂 )
In honor of our anniversary we’ve given the site a little restructuring makeover. Back in December we ask you (the AMAZING Readers of Addicts) what we could be doing differently to make Addicts a better experience for you. Many of you said better search options and easier to navigate menu structure. We’ll we’ve listened to you and worked to restructure both! You’ll notice the menu tabs at the top and bottom of the page are much simpler and easier to navigate now! We’ve got everything you could possible need in those menus AND if you still can’t find something you can always use the search box. 🙂
We’ve also made the Character Page AND the Premium Page easier to navigate and find exactly what you’re looking for! And in the coming days we’ll be working on restructuring the Walkthrough Page, including complete Level Guides for all of the information you’ll need in TSTO for each level of the game!

Update February 2015: The Valentine’s Day Event for 2015 added one new item and a bunch of returning items. The one new item was the Animatronic Bears, and to see how they impact the Conform-O-Meter check out the details on them here.

Can you feeelll the Loooovveee Tonight….ok ok I’ll stop singing! No one needs to hear it, not even me. But Love is in the air in Springfield as our games went from the Duff fun of the Super Bowl to the lovey dovey ways of Valentine’s Day. With new buildings and A LOT of new decorations introduced with the update I thought now would be the perfect time to share with my favorite Addicted Tappers just how these new items will impact your Conform-o-Meter rating.
The Conform-O-Meter is an important part of Tapped-Out because it provides you with a bonus boost in your cash and XP from everything you collect in the game. When you achieve a 5-Star Town (it’s max rating) you will receive a 5% bonus on all money and XP collected in your town. If you missed the previous Conform-O-Meter posts check here for the basics and here for how many points you’ll need to reach 5 stars.
While the Valentine’s event brought no changes to the Conform-O-Meter requirements, level 38 did though, it did bring us a ton of new items to add to our Springfield. Let’s take a look at how all of the new “goodies” impact our rating:
