Hey they all you voyeurs. Lol. So now EA has decided to add a fun lil element into the event for us to “Spy” on our neighbors. Why on earth would we do that? Well, other than the obvious reasons….
After completing the Quash Those Who Trespass Against Us questline to seek out and tap on Robed Order characters running around your Springfield, you will see a new quest appear for Trust No One, started by #1, for you to now spy on your neighbors.
(SIDE NOTE: The donuts you see are NOT a payout. They are the amount it will take to speed up and avoid this task…it is there more for those that still play with no neighbors.)
In order for this to work, your neighbors had to have completed to that same part of the questline (a good hint they are collecting is the emblems on their counts are above zero).
You will also notice it is activated in their town due to how it will look when you enter. If you just see the standard $$$, menus, etc…they are not to the point to be spied on just yet. What you want to look for is surveillance cameras and the All Seeing Eye Pyramids.
By clicking on the Surveillance cameras, you will see an All Seeing Eye Pyramid appear over the building. You will be rewarded with $$, XP, and Emblems. (You can go in both Springfield and Krustyland to do this.)
(You will know just how many you will get by clicking on the italic “i” next to YOUR Emblem count in the lower left side. If you can, click on your neighbors Stonecutter Lodge as it pays out 5 Emblems.) Keep in mind you only have 60 actions total per 24 hours window in neighbor visits. If you use any of the 60 to tag or collect just money/tickets you lose that option to get the full 60 emblems per day. So use those first 60 taps wisely.
Now comes the tricky part. As soon as you start “spying” on a neighbor a timer is set. They now have a window of time to clear out the “All Seeing Eye Pyramid Spy” to get the most Emblems payout.
This is what your building will look like if a neighbor is spying on you. The All Seeing Eye Pyramid will be moving and hieroglyphics will be scrolling on by over a building. As soon as you see one pop up in your town, tap it right away so you get the most Emblems from it as possible.
The amount you can get for “Stop Spying” starts at 5 Emblems and goes down 1 Emblem from there every 2 hours.
1-2 hours: 5 Emblems
2-4 hours: 4 Emblems
4-6 hours: 3 Emblems
6-8 hours: 2 Emblems
Over 8 hours: 1 Emblem
If you have your notifications are on, you will be alerted when someone “Spies” on a building in your town.
Once you go to at least one neighbor and “Spy” on 3 buildings the Trust No One mini quest will be cleared. You can continue the fun of “Spying” throughout the even on all your neighboreenos. Lol.

Sorry if this specific question gets repetitive but does the building that is being spied on need to be ready? When I mean ready = available for collecting/harvesting cash? Or can I finally tapped everything in my town without caring that my neighbors won’t have anything to tap since it’s fully collected because I have OCD and it bothers me leaving a row of houses uncollected to be courteous to my neighbors.
No, feel free to collect from you whole town. Spying and collecting cash are two separate things 🙂

YES!!! That’s beautiful!!! I can collect with abandon like I did before I got neighbors AND I still get the benefit$ of tapping in other towns! I also don’t feel guilty anymore! 😀

Does a building need to gave a $ or menu or cash register above it in your own town for it to be available to be spied on by others or is it totally separate? I want to tap my town but I also want buildings available to be spied on by neighbors, for them, and me , to collect emblems.
From what I am seeing (also if you look at the pics) the pyramid floats UNDER the money.

I tried cloves a couple of times, didn’t care for the taste, then someone told me the fibers or something get in your lungs (don’t know how valid that is). I’d still like a cigarette once in a while, but don’t want to smell like an ashtray again.
You Guys! Do not even think cigarettes. 🙁 I smoked for 40 years. Quit in 1993. Too late. Diagnosed with severe emphysema, 1995. Spent a week in a CO hospital in 2013. Now working on recovery from a pneumonia attack again last Feb. I’m supposed to be dead by now. Must be constantly hooked up to oxygen. I could breathe better if I could have stayed in WA State at sea level. Loved it there but now CO with elevation 6500′ making it harder to breathe. I’m working hard at regaining my strength. If tou can, please discourage others from touching cigarettes. Thanks for listening…..:)

Your Swedish was probably much better than my Spanish because of all of the Spanish dialects here. Even the people in South America have a hard time communicating (not as bad as I do LOL), depending on where they are from.

Dang, I purposely didn’t tap many other SFs since the update hit, but I guess I tapped more than I thought this morning. 😐 That’s alright though, I think I’ll just tap like I usually do for the rest of the evening and wait – I’m hoping it’ll happen tonight, but if it doesn’t, whatever. I may have to rethink my usual tapping strategy since I’ve already tapped a couple of my own higher earning buildings to stop the spying – my SF bank account will be thrilled, but beyond that who knows, hehe.
I like to use one neighbor as my “clock timer” so I know where I am on the reset. You are immediately put into the space with Lodge when you enter a neighbors town…so it makes the tappin to get 5 emblems nice. 😉
The information button for me says: “0 emblems for next 0 neighbours”. If I click any cameras, I get nothing. But the thing is, I haven’t clicked 60 times at all. The ability to actually see cameras at all has only just turned on in the last 10 minutes.
It doesn’t matter when you started the event. The neighbor clock never resets with updates. It stays on the same time frame as when you initiated it within the last 24 hours. So if you visited neighbors already within the last 24 hours and your neighbor visit clock has not reset…you have to wait regardless.
I would suggest to allow ALL neighbors to reset…then pick one to use as your “clock” that way you will always be able to know how much time you have left in that 24 hour period before it resets again.

I have the details in this post in regards to the neighbor taps. You only get 60 chances total once the 24 hour clock resets if you use any of those 60 to collect anything other than Emblems, it will take away those chances. So make sure once your 24 hour neighbor clock resets that you go only to spy cams first…then after the 60 are collected…go collect money. Hope that helps.
FYI ALERT!!! Check your Krustylands for the All Seeing Eye Pyramid Spy! They can show up there as well. I found two 4hrs after my neighbor visited my KL.

Just to clarify, if I’ve gotten my emblems for my 60 actions but I continue visiting friends, I can get cash, possibly donuts, and the friends can get emblems if I click on cameras right? And continuing to click won’t hurt my collecting ability?
I think I like this event, I definitely prefer this style of prize earning. I’m just still a little confused on some details but you guys help a ton!
You have 60 total taps in a 24 hour period…so make sure you hit the cameras first. If you tap ANYTHING else first…like if you hit upon a neighbor that doesnt have spy option yet and you tap on their $$$ or menus, you WILL lose those taps out of the 60.
After that…its just money & XP & possible donut collection if you maxed FP. 😉
I noticed that when I tap on him in a neighbor’s Springfield, it does NOT count against the 60, just like it doesn’t count against the normal 3 actions per neighboreeno.
I assume HIM is referencing Sideshow Bob? If so, he is an NPC so he never counted as a building. 😉
Is there a problem with the emblems you get for clicking on the cameras when visiting friends and spying on them I’ve visited my friends and got none at all and it says 0 emblems for the next 0 friends

What a great change to the game! Tappers with lower levels aren’t punished either by having to leave $$ untapped for neighbors when they are trying to earn or by having to wait for long buildings to regenerate in order to participate… only the truly inactive are a detriment. I hope they figure out how to keep this development in future games. I was bummed because I’m sweating for Vulgari right now. No more!
Just to clarify: it is now ok if we clear our money ourselves because that is not connected to what our friends need to tap, correct? Also: As soon as we clear a pyramid, what is the time frame on when someone new can tap the building? Thanks for you info! 🙂
Cash and spying are unconnected. As far as time frame… I have cleared the spy on my Stonecutters Lodge and had it re-spyed by another friend a minute later.

You can hit a friend’s stonecutter lodge 3 times, if they clear it between hits. They have to sync, and it takes a minute or so to reset. Hence 15 emblems for those 3 actions!
Once you’ve done your 60 actions for the day, do not click your friends’ stonecutter lodge. That way someone else can do it and get the 5 emblems.
I’ve read these letters but I’m still confused. I’ve gone to friends’ towns and clicked on cams, which brought up the floating eye pyramids — but I’m not getting emblems and I’ve done far less than 60 taps. What am I missing?
If you have towns that you’ve visited and haven’t reset yet, that adds to it. It’s 60 actions per day. So if you visited towns and collected money it counts towards those actions. Have to wait till the clock resets
Thanks, Alissa, I think I get it now. I think my reset is in 3-4 hours, so it is likely I have done 60 since last night. Guess I should stop tapping til then (so as not to waste cam hits).
I really should have read the comments first (you explained it well). I was really confused as to how it worked, I guess I ”missed out” on some emblems today, oh well there’s always tomorrow 🙂

Then you are over the 60 taps (this is ANY tap at all…no matter what you tapped on…you have 300 within a 24 hour period…then it resets.) Just use one of your neighbors as a “timer” the clocks on them will say how much time you have til you can visit them again. If you let them ALL reset to 24 and 3 taps…then pick one to be your timer to go off of and then you know how long you have til the 24 hours are up and will reset your taps again to try for the 60 Emblems.

I was only able to collect 13 emblems from my friends today, this was the first time ive even been able to spy on friends and after 13 it said i had 0 more to collect.
It’s a running total. You have to have all friend actions available. So if you have friends that are still at the countdown point it limits how many you can get. Once everyone has rolled over you’ll be good to go again. 🙂
Something I noticed when I was just using my BTown to spy on my A Town is that spy cameras can appear over buildings that don’t have a cash payout (parts of the Power plant, buildings that have time left before the money symbol appears)…I was worried since clearing the spy pyramid also clicked the money symbol (so perhaps, once everyone is earning emblems, I won’t need to leave so many buildings uncollected)
Is this a glitch? My BTown is fairly cash poor but I don’t want to overcollect and be a bad neighbor…please advise (note- I wouldn’t clear all houses incase I’m wrong about spy cams and I’d clear all pyramids but…baffled) Thanks.
Nope. Basically for this event…cash doesn’t matter. You can collect from your buildings and your neighbors can still spy on them. It’s more just a matter of what’s been spied on and what you’ve unspied.

Maybe those of you with a “B” game can clarify this for me. If I clear the money from my buildings will they still have spy cameras? Or, do I need to leave the money up so that my visitors will see spy cameras where I see $$$?

As someone at the end of the alphabet, I hope my friends keep going after they’ve hit their 60 emblems for the day! But past experience with these events leads me to believe I should just change my game name to something that starts with “A” 🙂

Do we still have chances to score donuts while visiting friends? I hope my friends still visit even though they have maxed out on 60 emblems. People dont usually spend time visiting if they cant collect the game currency. I wonder why they cap it at 60 per day.

Quick FYI after spotting your post: I have been getting, on average, 2-3 donuts every time I visit my 100 neighbors (every 1-2 days), after I am maxed out on FP’s. And I just received a donut on my 2nd neighbor visit after maxing out on the new emblems…keep visiting! 🙂

I just started tapping on neighbours town and noticed if you tap on their stonecutters HQ you get 5 emblems not jut one. Handy little tip. This is also really easy as each town is loaded up with the stonecutters HQ in view

Just to add a nice neighboreeno note- if you are done with your 60 emblems for the day it does not matter what building you click in your neighbors town- why not leave the stone cutter building for someone who can collect the 5 😉 Seems the nice thing to do.

I see the cameras, but get no emblems. The little information icon says “You will receive 0 Emblems for your next 0 Friend Actions.” Is this a bug that I should report to EA or just that I’m not far enough along yet? (I’ve had the dialog, and if I do click on a camera the floaty pyramid appears, but I get no emblems.)
Have you collected from friends already today? You’ll only get 60 actions to collect emblems per day and it’s at the start of your day. (first 60 actions) If you have any still on the countdown this could be why you’re not seeing it. You can still spy on their buildings just won’t get emblems. Spying helps your neighbor out because they’ll earn emblems when they unspy.
I hadn’t, but I had collected less than 24 hours previously yesterday. I guess I thought that the emblem count would start from the beginning, rather than from the previous day’s friend visits. After everything rolled over I’m getting the emblems.

I’m having the same problem – seeing camera in neighbours towns and not getting any emblems when I’ve clicked on it. Also got same 0 message about emblems and friend actions.
But I’ve not yet collected any emblems from neighbours towns yet so can’t have got to 60 actions? (Though have collected approx some dollar signs from neighbours towns. And got few emblems in my town from unspying!)

The emblems work alongside the same settings as regular neighbor visits. You only get 60 taps total per 24 hour period, so if you already had visited enough neighbors to hit 60 taps, you need to wait for the 24 hour reset to get the chance at 60 again. So you want to use those first 60 taps once the 24 hour clock resets wisely.
It would be great if I could get onto my “b” town took my 2 hours yesterday and not happening at all today is anyone else having issues I can get into my “a” town just fine!
I haven’t seen it yet, but I know some players were reporting issues with connecting to the server. I think it’s just isolated Springfields.
I have opened a ticket with EA but there not the quickest with this it seems to be happening a lot on the forum but Alissa we are friends on the said “b” town so you will have to bear with me!

I went into my “B” world on my husband’s galaxy tab which loaded no problem then tried again on my iPad and it’s now working not sure for how long but it’s fixed it for now!

I am trying to visit friends, but the game crashes every time I try to open the visit friends screen. I got in once and into one town but then crashed again trying to come out. Is anyone else having this problem?

Hm I’m not too familiar with the Kindle Troubleshoot Methods (unfortunately), but I know several people are reporting this crashing issue. Best bet is to Contact EA and let them know you’ve experiencing it.
My game is crashing every 10 seconds! Not only can I not visit friends but I cant complete tasks, use the icon in the upper right corner, or use the new town census feature! Contacted EA but haven’t heard anything 🙁 very frustrating!!!
