I am having fun so far, but waiting to see how aspects like the defense bonuses play out. I hope in spite of the “war” theme, the event stays fun, friendly and fair for our fremium neighbors – like the Stonecutters event. I always liked the aspect of helping your neighbors in this game, and will look forward to the bloggers’ takes on the best way to do that as this event progresses.
As for the trailer… I get that it’s tongue in cheek, but IMO it just makes EA seem bitter! Haha. Their corporate rivalry has no relevance to my enjoyment of the Simpsons or the game.
So.. Haha. Yes I am enjoying, but admitedly a little skeptical for now…

Great we got some land, but not near enough. I need room for the new cool stuff, but I still have a lot in storage, like the big Springfield sign. Other than that, cool update. A lot more land please.
Ok got to level four castle an its saying upgrade castle to increase town defense by 1 now I see what that truck of exlir is for lol. Wonder just how many times these castles can be upgraded an what bonuses we get for them. A nice random pink treat would be cool or another character or three or five just kidding lol. But this makes me even more curious what role marge plays in all this. So far just awesome.

Ha that’s a funny little trailer, I’ve always loved how self deprecating the writers are with the game. I think it’s a cool idea for an event, even though I don’t play Clash of Clans. Though let’s hope they don’t go making this kind of thing a trend and having an event based of that Kim Kardashian game next. 😉

I’ve honestly never heard of clash of clans. I have a few mobile game apps, but mostly productivity stuff. I play TSTO because I grew up watching The Simpsons in the 90’s. I don’t play ’cause it’s like some other game. I’d much rather have stuff that’s actually been in Springfield at least once or twice in Seasons 1-20. Like the Monorail!! 2 months wait for this? M’eh.
I am a fully lvl’d th9 playing for 1.5 years starting th10 in 6 days. So yeah, this is kind of cool to me.

Awesome event l. Free land awesome. Free character awesome. Five free skins awesome. Three free buildings awesome. Free around five percent multiplier awesome. Great event mechanics awesome. Loving the ability to attack random people its awesome. An with 48 days of awesome stuff to go I’m sure will get more awesome stuff along the way. DID I MENTION THAT THIS EVENT IS AWESOME?

Man what this is going to do to my work productivity. But something has to suffer and my addiction just got its fix on. Bring on the clans.
