Update: Homer needs to be free. However, some are reporting that if they go to Krustyland it’ll trigger and when they go back to Springfield they can squish to get the shirt. So try that first if Homer’s not free in your town. If you don’t have Krustyland and Homer’s on the Donut Torture Device….store the device. It’ll knock him off of the task, but he’ll be free.

Looks like we got a little THOH Update on our hands…
This is an in-game update…and it’s a Tree House of Horrors Episode Tie-in! Going through it all now…but for now know that it kicks off with some dialogue between Homer and Moe..and the quest to find out why Moe is naked behind the Love Tester…

As mentioned above..the update kicks off with some dialogue between Homer and Moe…
Homer: Moe? That’s weird, he’s always in the bar.
Moe: Psst, Homer…over here.
Homer: What are you doing standing behind the love tester?
Moe: I ain’t got no clothes on.
Homer: Never mind. I don’t want to know what you’re doing back there.
Moe: It ain’t like that. Well actually I don’t know what it’s like. I can’t remember what I did with my clothes. I need you to find them. You do this for me and I’ll give you free booze for one night.
Homer: Oh my God, do you know how much I could drink in a night?
Moe: Yeah, I know. It’s gonna cost me. But at least it’s infinite, I think.
Homer: I am honored by the fait you have shown by choosing me for this quest.
Moe: I actually gave this quest to Barney, but that’s him there, curled up by the wastebasket—using the Welcome mat as a teddy bear. You were just the next person to come in the bar.
Homer: Sorry, wasn’t listening. I was thinking about all the beer I’m going to drink.
Moe: Just go.
So you’re hunting for Moe’s Clothes. Homer will start the next phase of this…and give you some instructions (sorta)

Homer: Wow, I feel so energized and motivated and clear-headed…*shriek* Oh God, I’m sober! I better find those clothes quick!

Lisa: How do you know that’s Moe’s shirt?
Homer: It’s monogrammed. See? M-O and some missing letters and Moe’s name is spelled M-O and some missing letters. Wow, look at all these spaghetti stains. I’ve told him he needs to twirl his noodles tighter to the fork…
Lisa: I don’t think those are spaghetti stains.
So there you have the first little part to Moe’s new outfit…you’ll have to keep logging into TSTO each day to discover a new part to the outfit!
Now if you head on over to the Simpsons House and tap on it you’ll see something different in how it looks…
The Simpsons Attic!
For those that played TSTO last Halloween you’ll remember the Strongman Homer costume last year….this is the SAME thing (basically) only a different outfit.
Each day you’ll collect 1 item and it’ll all end with Trivia tied in with the episode on Sunday!
So that’s it for today….except for those that WANT to see what Moe’s new costume will look like scroll town…for those that don’t want to know skip ahead to the comments and let us know what you think about the idea of collecting items each day to unlock a new costume!

If i have Donut Torture device, is it good strategy to not open my trick r treat bags until after the next phase starts? Will these treats bags provide the ray guns if opened after phase 2 start?

While tapping in one of my neighbor’s Springfield today, I came across a Homer Simpson skin that I’ve never seen before. Homer was a light-brown/yellowish color, with brown shorts, vest and a pair of boots. Can anyone tell me where is this from?

Seems like there are no more rigellian aliens in my town today, after not playing for 8 hours there was only 1 which had the codpiece. Hopefully they reappear soon so I can keep earning and get that donut machine.

Did they increase the ufo frequency with this update? Just visited 30 neighbours and hit 15 ufo’s, 2 of which had 30 donuts, woot woot. Maybe ea is making up for the gremalien glitch???

I think I’m having a glitch. I got Moes shirt yesterday but today nothing happened to start the next part of the event. And when I tap on The Simpsons House I just see the regular pop-up, nothing about the attic anymore. Any suggestions? Thank you.

You don’t have it yet, it’s not fully unlocked. You have to collect pieces each day to fully unlock it 😉
For me under Moes stick there is said that i have to collect it on friday.

Off: I’m a completely freemium player and I just managed to buy the Hungry Hun yesterday! I’m so proud of myself!! 🙂 Especially since I accidentaly purchased the twonicorn on the last event for 60 sweet precious donuts, and I remained with 60 back then. So I got 100 buy only visiting my friends regularly! Pretty sweet if you ask me!! 😀

Just got the codpiece (2nd. costume item) by clicking on a squishy, about 12 hours after the start of the update and getting the shirt.
Homer was strapped to the DTD when I got the codpiece, so maybe he does not need to be free everyday to trigger the next parts.
(I had to get him out of the DTD the start the event and get the shirt, I have yet to start Krustyland)
I had the shirt, everything was fine, now it’s gone: ( I click on the simpsons house and nothing… Sniff sniff I hope it gets fixed with this mornings update!

Mine also kicked in when visiting KL, as Homer was on the torture device. I’m worried about the questions about THOH new episode (mentioned above), as we here in Aust won’t see it for weeks/months. Won’t some kind Americans give us in other countries an episode synopsis please?

I was able to do the quest without taking homer off the machine.

That’s funny, I still have homer on the Doughnut Machine, but when I just went to Krustyland about a minute after midmight, the shirt quest continued, but I,can’t find the pop up menu that you posted showing the parts of the suit collected so far…
Where is that button in the game?

You,won’t believe this but I was looking at a website and just got a pop up notification from the Simpsons about hurrying up to get all the prizes before the prizes expire, I went to look and got Moe’s 2nd Piece of clothes, the Codpiece! And also Suzane the Witch was available to buy with her House for 140 clam,,, Err… Doughnuts!
I saw Moe’s shirt drop, then accidentally hit the home button on my iPhone. When I logged back in, it was gone. Think that might drop again?

So I got Moe’s shirt just fine. Later I went to Krustyland and some dialogue with Bart popped up about the Twirl and Hurl being new and Bart is to ride it. I have it from last year and Bart is busy Trick or Treating, is this an important task to complete or can I leave him busy in Springfield?
It is part of something else. Keep him in Springfield for now.
Oh boy, another technical issue. I don’t know how many times I can restart my phone and reinstall this program but with every passing update, it seems a new issue arises to the occasion. This time I am unable to download the updates, it goes to download 2 out 3 and then reverts back to download update 2 over and over again, never getting past to 3 before I am disconnected to the server. Anyone else experiencing the same? I tried it now and around 6PM and same result, even after reinstalling.
I gotta get my hands on the donut torture machine before time runs out!
Any idea if they fixed the glitch on dropping eggs in neighbors towns? I don’t even want to think of how many doughnuts I wasted
