UPDATE BUNNY 11/7: Seems EA is staying pretty tight lipped lately on when items are coming and going. They will not provide a solid answer of whether the Writer’s Building w/Matt is Limited. My suggestion, buy it now just in case.
Hey there tappereenos. So just like EA teased, we have a new lil update to our game in the middle of this fun event. It brings…the Creator? 😉

WARNING SPOILERS AHEAD!!!
With the usual Episode Tie-Ins, we get some cool new items in the game and usually a dialog that ties it all together. Let’s start off with the two questlines.
WHEN WORLDS COLLIDE
So our lil Ghostly Friend Creator will auto start off the dialog,
“Klaatu barada nikto!!”
There is some silly dialog with Homer and the Creator that leads into the “When Worlds Collide” questline. The first of which is only 6 seconds long (you will need Homer for this). The next part will be 8hrs.
All of this of course leads into this coming Sunday’s Crossover episode with…. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE… FUTURAMA!!!
DON’T FEED AFTER MIDNIGHT
Now…here is the REALLY fun part…EA being the lil stinkers they are have brought into the game… A MUTANT RABBIT!!! Hey now! I ain’t no Mutant! 😛 Once placed, it will start the “Don’t Feed After Midnight” questline. The first task will take 12hrs.

Now for the cool new Building & Character. During Part 3 of When World’s Collide, you will have the option unlock to build the Writers Building.
Writers Building: $80,000. Comes with Matt Groening. Payout is $150 & 13XP Every 8hrs.
Once you complete the 24hr build, you will unlock Matt Groening into your game. WOOHOO! He will come complete with his own tasks and continue on the When Worlds Collide questline.

Then there is this silly lil Furry Rabbit they stuck in the game.
Mutant Rabbit: 75 Donuts. Comes with it’s own questline. Currently 1 task unlocked. The other unlocks 11/10/14. (This one is Limited Time til Sunday)
So more to come with the Mutant Rabbit, the Creator, a cool looking building at a low low cost, and a new Episode Sunday. WOOHOO!

Does the Rabbit earn anything? At this point, I’m not investing donuts in anything just for “cute,” because my donuts are so hard to come by!
The one of its two tasks unlocked til the 10th, 12 hrs 600$ & 150XP
Will that end after the 10th, do you know? In other word, will it have any income value after the event? (I realize you probably don’t know for sure, but I thought you either might have heard something or have an educated guess based on past events.)

I love it and so excited to get Matt but I’m so confused. Can’t wait for you guys to break it down for us. There are multiple rabbits running around my town and the icon on the top left was showing Odd profiles of random Springfielders flashing by for the bunny’s job. My interest is piqued. And those eggs. What’s up with those. I know you guys do an outstanding job and will explain it all but right now kind of enjoying the mystery
Right now it is just a lil animal in the town with one task…Multiply. Then rabbits pop up on sidewalks…then go away when the task is done. I am hoping there is a lil more to it when the 10th hits. We will see. Hard part is you have to buy it BEFORE the 10th…so I am perplexed. 😉
I wonder if it will have an Easter tie-in as well….
I have a funny feeling that the bunny might be useful in the next Easter event (assuming we get one) just like Witch Marge had purposes beyond Halloween.
I have him “singing songs” now for 24 hrs! Sped up his first job with a little help ! ( Donuts). Good nite almost 2a.m here!! No More Pressure on this Game!! 🙂 now I can relax and collect extra LPS for Build a Thing items!! 🙂
Hi bunny I’m stuck on this tree house quest I don’t think I reach donuts torture device or the helicopter in time should I go get then queen instead? This quest been very tough lol. Chocolate bars are hard to find for me that why I’m ask you should I try for donuts torture device or stick saving for queen item. I do have Hugo and spooky house. Oh ya I’m almost reaching 30 million in game cash I post photos once I reach it. I didn’t by expanding land yet.
It is all really up to what YOU want in the game. What will make YOU the happiest months from now? Set a goal for that item. 😉

Has anyone else noticed that the Ghost airship no longer makes a sound when tapped?

And even though I cashed in all the Trick R Treat bags, the ! Is still lit like there are still unclaimed bags, anyone else having this problem?
It is there due to you have an item tagged as “Craft Now” that you can make. Dual purpose. 😉
I had a feeling it meant that since I’m saving up for the Alien Queen and have lots of candy saved up.

Is anyone else having issues with the second part of the questline failing to finish? I started the 8 hour task around noon today and when I got back to my game 10 hours later another update needed to be installed. Once the update installed, homer was no longer working on the task and the quest disappeared. I tried deleting the game and redownloading but that did not help. Ideas?

Wow, i’m so happy that Matt Groening came to the game! I waited long and here he is! I skipped Matt’s quests and one of dialouges Matt said “I WILL ERASE YOU, HOMER!”
Pretty excited to get a nice building for a change! 😀

He did not have the Limited Time stamp on his building. So I am hoping he stays. The Rabbit is the only one that did.
Cool update. Gray-ning is always funny when he makes an appearance, and the building is cool/cheap. Groaned at the mention of a Futurama crossover, especially after that terrible Family Guy crossover earlier this season, but the quest line seems to know this, and has been funny so far. Would not be mad if we got some Futurama characters/buildings/decorations.
I was waiting for the building to finish its 24 hr build and now it disappeared… I bought the bunny started the first quest and also disappeared…. Anyone know what’s happening?…

Well usually I am very excited about the Halloween updates but this year has not been my year. I try to play every day, but I do miss occasionally. With that said, I might not be free to complain but I will. 😉 I know that everything is “free” when it comes to prizes and I am greatful. that’s why I play for the race to grab as much as I can, to build an amazing town. Sadly other than grab bags and two other small prizes I haven’t been able to get anything else. What gives? Why is it so hard to get prizes this year? I cant build anything worth while yet. Sadly I am disappointment. Hoping Xmas is easier.
It would be very helpful at this point if you could give us some useful information about the rabbit. It seems like you’re being purposefully mysterious. Before buying it, it would be nice to have some clarification now, rather than wait until Sunday, when it may be too late to buy it.
It multiples ( I guess ) into five more rabbits and then what? They are apart of your Springfield? Or do you tap them and then that’s it? Or can you make the five re-multiply again? Making even more?
Bunny seems to be being aloof about this, I don’t understand why. So, if someone else wouldn’t mind answering, I would appreciate it very much.
Lol. It is due to there is NO info really on it. As I state in this post, the quest stops and the other task is locked up until Sunday…so I do not know it’s full extent until that portion goes live in the game. So all I have to offer is the only info available right now. One task to multiply, extra bunnies show up around until the task is done. That is it. I want to be able to provide a COMPLETE and accurate post on something before just tossing it out. I would think you would appreciate that. 😉
I guess I find this to be far more fascinating than others do? Other bunnies show up? Like two? Three? Five? Do they look the same? Is this a one time task? Once they go away, are they gone forever or can you repeat the task?

Same Bunny. They vary 2-5. Gone when task complete. It is a task not just a storyline, so of course you can do the task over and over and over. 😉
Will post a complete overview once the other task unlocks and all the dialog for it is out and available. 😉
