Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Ah Thanksgiving! In the words of Homer….”The high holiday of gorging! Uncluttered with Yule logs, Easter egg hunts, flag saluting or the yoinking out of groundhogs.” That is until Puritan Flanders got in the way!
So now that Thanksgiving has arrived in Springfield, we at least Pre-Thanksgiving…it’s time to take a look at the Main Turkey Day questline. This year EA has decided to split it up into sections…with part released now and more coming Monday 11/24. In this post we’ll Turbo Tap the first part of the main questline (ie everything available before 11/24)…and we’ll update this post with the rest once it hits.

Happy Thanksgiving, and Black Friday to everyone! After some dialog between Lisa and Puritan Flanders about Thanksgiving leftovers (something like…Flanders says put it outside for the animals, Lisa doubts an animal would eat anything Homer passed on), it seems the “Host a Peace Feast” comes up again. But we’re unable to do it! Already had the peace feast when the table was first placed, but the new dialog suggests we’re supposed to do it again, but don’t have the option! Sounds like a glitch…any suggestions? Thanks!

I am stuck on “Make Sacagawea Lisa host a peace feast for Puritan Flanders.” Every time I click “do it” there isn’t a task for Sacagawea Lisa that is highlighted, or anything related. Anyone else having this issue?

I am seeing lots of reports on this and wondering if Lisa and Flanders are an oops as I did not get that task again in any of my games.
Yes I have done it before (didn’t remember that until just now lol) and I got Homer’s task “Hate Gil.”– which he is currently doing.

I’ve been abit slack so am behind and now seem to be stuck on part 4 after placing the cornucopia the task to make Puritan Flanders self punish isn’t available 🙁 help what have I missed.. Homer,Lisa Marge, rod and Todd and Flanders are all available. Under the locked task for Flanders it says *(null) for wat the task requires if that’s any help.

Hello! I just received the cornucopia, but when I go to make Ned self punish, the task is locked and just says *(null). Any idea what the problem is? I haven’t found anything after 15 minutes of Googling haha

Our family will be together with our Daughterinlaws fam today, and then, all 9 of us will also be together in Hawaii for an Hawaiian Christmas on The North Shore! I finally beat the game!!! The last boss was really hard, but I powered up Homer with donuts and used Bart’s special “Cowabunga” attack.
I have been logging in all day and I haven’t Goran today’s quest. What do I do?

On Sunday I received the pop-up, so yesterday it shouldve been Homer hiding in the basement (part 2)…I never saw this quest.
Today’s quest I did receive (Lisa and her veggie turkey meal while Homer cries).
I’m having the same issue. I finished everything and even got the message that says come back the Monday before Thanksgiving. It’s almost Tuesday morning now and the Monday quest never started for me.

Did you make sure that Homer was free to trigger it? Did you get Lisa’s today?
Wondering if anybody else has had issues of the Thanksgiving challenge not updating today?
Went through all the other items such as placing the Cornucopia & Making Puritan Flanders Self-Punish & Got the pop-up saying to check back Monday.
Yet nothing has happened so far today even after logging out and back in several times throughout the day?
Thanks in advance for any input on what I might be doing wrong.
A few others reported this as well. Try a hard close and see if that helps. If not it should trigger tomorrow. Sometimes they just get stuck…
I thought mine didn’t update either but I remember sending Homer to the basement. Perhaps it’s easy to miss and I did it without noticing!?

Could still be your account on the servers. Try uninstalling and reinstalling TSTO and see if that helps…

I got the announcement but the tasks starting on the 24th didn’t trigger, homer didn’t have a quest for hide in the basement! Am I doing something wrong?
Did it eventually trigger for you? If not try hard closing and see if that helps..
The Thanksgiving update has been pretty cool so far. I’m still bummed no cross-over fun from SimpsonsRama…as in Futurama playable characters or questlines. That would have made for a fun change of pace.

I also had gotten after Part 1 ended a 2nd message that there would be daily quests with special item every day up till thanksgiving, when are they supposed to start?
It said check back starting Monday the 24th. 🙂

Can someone explain what the Cornucopia actually IS? Is it something that I would understand if I was American and/or celebrated Thanksgiving? Or does nobody know yet? I am lost as to its context and how to place it.
Lol. Cornucopia is a Thanksgiving decoration. Something that is traditional to place at the kitchen table during the family feast. It looks like a hollowed out horn shape. Also known as the horn of plenty. Usually filled with the seasons fruits n veggies.
So it is here in our Springfield to go along with Thanksgiving.

That all comes down to personal taste on what one YOU would still be happy with months from now to have in your town? Mom to Marge and the Twins or Character from one episode.

Native American Lisa hasn’t changed (but its not fair to judge as we got another game update on Monday after The Simpson’s TV broadcast).
For the 1st time ever I have zero tasks in my task book (all I have leftcl is just earning friend points to get that duck). I hope the next update for Xmas (all Winter Holidays) offers up new (non premium) surprises
Thanks for including the “Come back on Monday before Thanksgiving…” pop-up dialogue box here. I accidentally double tapped when that came up and I missed it. I couldn’t believe I got through the quest so quickly, but now I see it was only part 1 of the quest line. Gobble-gobble.
Flander’s self-punish task…It’s good and all, but come on guys…NOTHING beats Devil Flander’s “Show His Wrath” task. I think it may be my favorite in the game. I just wish it was a 12 or 24 hour task.
