I missed out on every deal I wanted to get. The only one I was actually around for I misrembered the cost of and could not afford to buy the donuts to get. Not a great way to do a deal in my book.
Not very happy woth it since it diasappeared less than 5 mins after I purchased it. Sent an email to EA help, got form email directing me to website, navigates through a bunch of menus to get help, obly option given is wait 20-25 mins to chat?! I need to start work shortly and don’t have time to chat. Need to send an email or submit a ticket, not be held hostage on hold
Give it about 30 minutes. EA’s customer support will be in and then you can request a call. I believe they open at 8am CST.
I would if it wasn’t so pricey in donuts. It best do missions for that price. I didn’t make use of the gill event I pretty much ignored the whole thing not liking the pay full price get some back dealio Looking forward to Xmas event Hoping maybe that’s when they will treat us to futurama characters and stuff as a special holiday treat, maybe throw in evil robot Santa along with the awesome regular crew of course. heh that’s when I’d be like shut up and take all my money. However unlikely to happen I think

I’m torn. I have 223 donuts, after using 2 to speed up Homer’s 24 hour task to make sure I got the Stomach Staples Center. I almost bought the Natural History Museum and Frink’s Lab yesterday during those deals, but would have been 2 short for that as well. I’ve been going donut-crazy lately, too, and I’m sure there will be cool stuff for Christmas. Then again, it’s Truckasaurus. I’m not sure I like the look of it, but it’s one of those iconic things that are hard to pass up. We’ll see…
I must say that I find all the Black Friday deals a bit idiotic. Spent donuts to get donuts back. It’s like homer says. Worst update ever!
Not to mention the quest were you have to spend donuts for the heimlich machine. Keep main quest freemium and side quest you can ask for donuts I don’t mind. But this kind of a let down…
There is no Quest, which tells you to buy the heimlich machine. It just says you CAN buy it if WANT. It was no quest.
I got a message that said if you want to finish the questime line get the heimlich. So yeah in a way yes you did have to buyour it to finishow the quest.
Sorry i meant Quest line, and buy it to finish the quest dumb smart tablet lol
Like kristy posted, there is a quest to related. If you buy the heimlich machine you get to more quest in the quest line that let to buy the heimlich machine. If the first quest line didn’t appear until you bought the heimlich machine I didn’t have problems with it. But starting a quest and than giving the option to continue that quest line if you buy a machine is ridiculous.
Would have been a cool reward for a story line, but way to expensive for what boils down to a decoration….
Is he playable? Does he have tasks with anyone or solely a decoration?

The truckasaurus is not worth 225 donuts, it doesn’t come with any quests & sticks out like a sore thumb.
In fact TSTO has become really boring of late as there has been a few days where there hasn’t been any quests.
Hurry up Christmas update!!
Wow, EA is really overdoing it a bit – I already passed on the new Thanksgiving decorations because they were to expensive, I am not going to spend 225 donuts on another ‘whale’.

Yikes. I finally caved and got Lard Lad and Duff Brewery during the sale, and then planned to hold on to donuts for Christmas. Figures they’d drop an expensive (albeit cool) premium item. I’ll wait for the breakdown to see if it’s worth it.
Was it wrong to think they’d reward us this time by giving us an opportunity to get Gil? 🙂

For the cyber Monday deal. It’s really not worth it. Although you 4.???% as a reward and animation with it. It really isn’t worth 225 donuts.

Full Should I Buy coming (sorry it was live at 3 am…and honestly I wasn’t about to write up a full Should I Buy when I was half asleep)…but it’s basically a big decoration.

At 225 I say pass. Size also an influence on the decision. No idea where I would put it. Just seems too random and out of place at this point.
I bought it the cool factor is there but I’m kinda disappointed in the action that is does I would save my donuts for christmast stuff and wait for truckasaurs to come back next year at a cheeper cost
Ah good old EA first it’s rebates to ensure people have to have more donuts then tack on a huge overpriced addon to the end of the sale , it’s the gold house all over . Quite frankly the next time we see Gil in the show he should be richer than Burns !

Does the Truckasaurs have any significant benefit (such as massive bonus %) or is it only an iconic animated decoration? If the latter, I’ll more than likely pass on the offer. Overall, there was nothing in the deal selection that I actually wanted (and didn’t already have). So for me, Gil was pretty much anticlimactic.
