Hey there Addicts,
Bouncing on by with some fun things coming up on the Horizon. There is something we have been talking about doing since before the Addicts sites were formed. Meeting up with a community of players, people like us. Just hanging out, chatting, playing the game, and having a blast. Well, we want to keep that idea rolling along.
In continuing our efforts to bring together this Community of Amazing Gamers and Players, we have set our sites on the Next Meet and Greet opportunity. As you know we love involving YOU in all that we do, we are putting this out there to get feedback on your thoughts.
This is what we have so far…
The Addicts Meet & Greet will take place on the East Coast. Most likely the New Brunswick area of New Jersey.
The Date will be a Saturday Evening around the end of March
We “might” have some cool treats and beverages on hand for you as well as “possibly” some sweet Swag. 😉
So we are now leaving it to YOU. We want to get a place reserved an ensure we have ample room for us all. Are YOU interested in coming? If so, does this location work for YOU? The rough date? Time? Let us know, we really would love to hear from you as well as get a chance to MEET you too. 😉
Oh, yeah! I’m half an hour away on the Bayshore! Count me in!

I feel so much better now, crawling out of corner for glass of wine, thanks Wookiee! Orlando is a bit of drive for me but have been wanting to go back to Universal, so this will give me a good excuse.

Sorry BUNNY, lol. Fat finger, probably from all the tapping. You could sign my new TSTO t-shirt (hint) if I dont have it by then we will just play it by ear, bunny ears! (that sounded better in my head) On another note, any chance EA will add you to our little game! I can think of so many cool tasks!

Seeing as Universal has a version of Springfield and we might be Dizznee nuts, I wouldn’t say it’s not possible in the future.
I was just at Universal Studios Hollywood last weekend and Springfield is coming along nicely! It’s supposed to open in a couple of months, rumor has it in the March timeframe. I’m a U.S. passholder (and a Disneyland and Knotts passholder too) so any theme park meet-ups in California would be of interest to me! 🙂
Here we are last weekend in the crochet Marge and Homer beanies that I made. (Homer is eating the donut scarf that I made, too) 🙂
Nice… I’ll be checking it out mid-February. Haven’t been to Measlesland in a little but hopefully going soon too.

I’m from Melbourne Australia so too far for me too, but yes, you guys should do Florida, specifically in October or November as I will be in Florida then haha 🙂

I’m just down the street on 27 a few miles south of NB so it wouldn’t hurt to stop by. I didn’t realize anyone lived nearby. So this is nearer to the RU Hungry truck? It’s not like there’s a shortage of places to snack or eat.
We’re thinking of a few of the places by the state theater. Lots of fellow Jerseyans…including me 😉
I kind of figured you did if you picked there. I usually only stop in NB to donate blood, so don’t think it’s a precedent.
It would be awesome if you guys would do something in the summer on the east coast of Canada. We have great summer weather and beaches and friendly people up here. Plus lots of people addicted to tapped out.
We’ve got a few things we’re working on, but first we want to see how this one goes 🙂
Poloman will be there but keep the updates coming because I have to find a babysitter for Pologirl, littlepolo, and Babypolo.

I’m in NC so Georgia would be MUCH closer and I have family close to there sooooo free room and board lol
If you could change the date to sometime during the week before Labor Day, I’ll be there! Except for last year, when I was stuck in bed, I’m in N.J. that week every year. But I’d say end of March probably isn’t likely for me… It’s a pretty long drive from here in Massachusetts and I’ll also probably still be recovering from surgery by then (don’t know that timeline for sure…when I have my consult on Friday, I’ll know which kind of surgery I need, when it will be, and how long the recovery period is expected to be).
End of March? I’ll be back in Sweden 🙁

Cedarpark…. a suburb outside of Austin.
You should do Jersey City instead of New Brunswick. Super convenient to a bunch of transportation hubs (Newark airport, I GUESS New York City), plus a ton of bars/restaurants to choose from. Heck, Barcade would feel pretty appropriate.
Remember it’s not just NYC we’re looking at PA as well plus folks from south jersey (and possibly lower). Which is why we’re thinking New Brunswick. Train station is right there and it’s fairly centrally located. BUT can we count you in? 🙂

That would be super fun, but I doubt I’d be able to make it. Hopefully there will be loads of pictures, etc. from the event so those of us who are there in spirit can see what we’ve missed. 🙂
