Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Level 50 arrived in Springfield a couple of weeks ago and with it the rest of the Lovejoy family finally arrives as well as some new buildings & decorations to help improve our Conform-O-Meters!
The Conform-O-Meter is an important part of Tapped-Out because it provides you with a bonus boost in your cash and XP from everything you collect in the game. When you achieve a 5-Star Town (it’s max rating) you will receive a 5% bonus on all money and XP collected in your town. If you missed the previous Conform-O-Meter posts check here for the basics and here for how many points you’ll need to reach 5 stars.
Of course with the release of Level 50 many of the requirements to maintain 5 Stars on your Conform-O-Meter have changed, so let’s check it out and see what the new requirements are. So now you’ll have all the information you need to maintain that 5-Star Springfield!
Here are the new requirements to maintain a 5-Star Springfield for Level 50
Level | Indolence | Obedience | Consumerism/ Gluttony |
50 | 560 | 330 | 348/391 |
Tree-hugging /Vanity |
Righteousness | Socialism | |
38,695/57,020 | 293 | 3,030 |
Obedience and Consumerism saw no increase from Level 49 to Level 50, however every other area increase. Indolence and Gluttony each saw 10 point increase. Tree-Hugging increased by 1,730 points and Vanity saw a 2,350 point increase. While Righteousness increased by 11 points and Socialism increased by 132 points.
So now let’s take a look at how these new buildings and decorations Level 50 dropped in impact our Conform-o-Meter:
Item | Cost | Category | Points |
Muncipal House of Pancakes | $250,000 (Base) |
Gluttony | 10 |
Lovejoy Residence | 180 Donuts | Indolence | 10 |
Shorty’s | 60 Donuts | Gluttony | 10 |
Book Burning Mobile | $200,000 | Vanity | 10 |
Murder Puss | 30 Donuts | Vanity | 10 |
Canyonero | FP Prize | Vanity | 2,000 |
*It Blows, the other Friendship Prize, currently has no impact on the Conform-O-Meter
As you can see just about everything in the Level 50 update impacts the conform-o-meter in one way or another.
And that’s the latest on the Conform-O-Meter requirements for Level 50!
How is YOUR town doing? Are you maxed out? If not what area(s) currently needs a boost? Sound off in the comments below, you know we LOVE hearing from you!
I have a question about Consumerism and Level 50. I recently reached 5 stars on everything except Consumerism, which was at 4 stars. So I went thorough the various Conform-o-Meter bits here on the Best Blog Ever, and tallied up all of the things I needed, and all of the ones I had, and determined that my Consumerism was at 310, with 348 nee3ded for a 5 star rating. Since it was so close, and Kwik-E-Mart adds 10, I figured an extra 4 Kwik-E-Marts wouldn’t kill me. I had 3 already, but 7 wouldn’t be terrible, so I bought the additional 4 stores. I let them build overnight, and then gave the game a full 24 hours after that to update, which it did, but only from 4 stars to 4-1/2 stars. The buildings were a LOT cheaper than I thought they would be (they were also on a rising scale, from $300, to $340, to $420, to $540 – and if I buy another, it will be $680). My question is, since my Consumerism rating went up, but didn’t go up by 40 points, even though I bought 4 of the store, is it possible that EA has placed the Consumerism points for the Franchise stores on a sliding scale (just like the price), so that additional Kwik-E-Marts don’t add as much to the Consumerism rating as the first ones do? I was also surprised by the low price, since the Level 12 franchise stores show in the Realty Guide here as costing $20,500, which I seem to recall as the amount I paid for stores #2 and #3 many months ago. In the game store it showed as having to reach Level 12 to buy, so I’m confident these are the Franchise stores, not additional versions of the original store (which would be a glitch), but the price appears to be based on the original Level 2/Level 3 store price, which starts at $220. Ideas? (My apologies ifg this was psoted elsewhere – i tried to post the question from my mobile phone this morning, inb the Weekly Sunday thread, but couldn’t find it there, so I’m guessing that I didn’t get it posted properly before exiting.) THANKS!!
The files indicate that Kwik-E-Marts are +10, but it’s possible they could have changed it for each one you have over 1. It still only shows +10, so it’s hard to know for sure. It could also just be your conform-o-meter needs a bit to catch up. Sometimes when you add a bunch at once it takes a little bit to catch itself up. Could be after a hard close and restart you jump up to 5.
How can I increase my righteousness?
training walls

To everyone asking about consumerism. Basically I took the food carts and “hid” them behind houses to look like parasols over patio furniture in the backyards. It’s a great little “cheat” to get those points for a 5 star rating!
Is something going on with the Riteousness level?? I’ve been at 5 stars consistently for over a year now with no problems. I logged into my game this morning and I’m at 4 stars because my Riteousness dropped from 5 to only 1/2 star overnight!!! Seriously buggered by this, so what should I do?
did you get a lot of tagging recently?
If your answer to Alissa’s question is ” no,” then it could just be a random thing….that sometimes happens with Righteousness, and should fix itself within a few days. Also, in case it isn’t random, just add a few more training walls.
Really not worth the major upsetness…you’re only losing 0.5% of a bonus for dropping from 5 to 4.5 stars anyway. I have yet to get to 5 stars (darned consumerism!), despite having been at the max game level for several months now, and, while it would be fun to hit that mark, the effective difference seems fairly negligible.
Nothing has changed in my game except that this drop in riteousness seemed to coincide with me finishing everything for the event. I’m just more surprised than anything. I’m going to wait until the next update and see if it changes anything.
I’ve been 5 stars with everything since Level 30 thanks to these articles (very helpful in maintaining maximum 5 stars). I agree, IT BLOWS Building should contribute to Consumerism, but that’s up to EA to listen to what players want the most.
I have cycle through Level 50 three times (who knows what I will get when Level 51 arrives).
It would be so helpful if we could see our actual numbers.. but i know we never will.
Is there any way of getting your consumerism and gluttony levels up to 5 stars without either spending donuts or having multiple instances of Kwik E Marts and Krustyburgers?
Coffee Carts and Khlav Kalash Stand for Gluttony. Consumerism is tricky. There aren’t a ton of items for it and a lot of them were limited-time. So if you’re new to the game it’s certainly harder and Kwik-E-marts are one of the few ways. The only other multiple allowed is the Ferris Wheel, but it’s premium.

I finally hit five stars at 49 and it survived the 50!
Would it really have killed them to have It Blows contribute to consumerism? *sigh*
If they valued Canyonero so highly (2,000 points!), surely It Blows could have been worth 10 measly consumerism points. (Although, now that I think of it, do I remember correctly that it did have a bonus multiplier at least?)
I gotta agree. Without buying tons of Kwikis, it sure does make maintaining consumerism difficult!
A little out of topic, but what have ya’ll done with the Jebidiah Springfield wacking day statue? I was moving things around, and I was wondering where did you put it.
Mine’s in my park…
Since the new statue is specific to Zenith City. I made a courtyard kind of thing in front of my Zenith City buildings and put it there. My Whacking day Jed is staying in front of townhall.
Hello, is there a way to determine how many points you have in each category without physically counting every building and decoration that you have?
Unfortunately not
Hey,
I was wondering about the book burning mobile. When it first came out and I bought it it was $200,000(as listed above), but in the store now it is $50,000. Is this the price it’s supposed to be or it it a mistake? Thanx and have fun.
I think the $200000 was a mistake
just fyi, in one of the recent updates the cost of burning book mobile was reduced to 50k.
