Update 3/16/2021: EA has FINALLY corrected a lot of issues with getting the Sideshow Bob questline (thus unlocking SSB) in your game. Woohoo!

Bouncing on by with some pretty frakkin cool information. YOU can get Sideshow Bob into your game as a Character! Whaaaaaaa??? SERIOUSLY! No Donuts have to be spent. No Opera House Unlocked. Just Sideshow Bob, as a Character, just for YOU! WOOHOO!! AHHHHHH SIDESHOW BOB!!!!
Now for a Quick How-To on all of this…
Around Level 22 of your Game Play Dialog and Walkthrough (getting Springfield Penitentiary and getting Snake is where it popped up in our testing), you will trigger a Questline called Flaw and Order. You would normally think this is just the basic run through of when Sideshow Bob was introduced into Springfield as a Fugitive for you to chase down and capture. Well it is MORE than that now. As you follow the Questline, not only will you learn how to “tap and capture” the fugitive Sideshow Bob running through your Springfield and others, but now… at the end… you will FINALLY catch him and pull him into your game. You will then have Sideshow Bob as a Character!
Side Note: While testing this out, there did seem to be a few “catches” in the dialog between Level 22 and Level 23, so do not be discouraged… just keep on going through the Level Walkthroughs and his Questline will continue on.
Here is the Basic Rundown of Flaw and Order
Part 1: (Capture) Arrest Sideshow Bob 1 Time
Part 2: (Capture) Arrest Sideshow Bob 3 Times
Part 3: (Capture) Arrest Sideshow Bob 5 Times
After you catch him 5 Times, you will then be rewarded… WITH A FREE SIDESHOW BOB! WOOHOO!!
Pro Tip: If you are having trouble finding or seeing Sideshow Bob for the Captures, just hop in n out of your “Other Springfield” and immediately head for Squidport. For some reason he really likes to hang out there, so you will usually be able to capture him there.
There you have it. Now YOU can get Sideshow Bob into your Springfield if you missed out on him during the Terwilliger’s Event. You know you all want and need a lil more Sideshow Bob in your games. I know I LOVE the fact he is finally in my game as a Character. WOOHOO!!

So I’m stuck. I’m on level 48. Finished the sideshow bob quests. I have him in my town, he already taught at the school and Bart planted traps. It said I had to buy something…I’m so lost. What was it??😭

I checked the walkthroughs and Sideshow Bob isn’t in the Premium Character walkthrough or the Expanded Walkthroughs. I’m level 103 with nothing left in Krustyland and still haven’t had the Sideshow Bob stuff pop up either.
Hey ya. I’m level 60 and still haven’t seenoticed Bob…. any suggestions? Haven’t done the krustyland quests or the monorail….. probably need to do krustyland aye.

Hi Alissa… I know this is old but I’m about lvl 115 and never saw the quest Flaw and order offered to me at any point. I have reinstalled and installed and taken bart and lista out and put them back in. I started hunting him in Neighbors and I have found him and clicked on him! still no quest… I am on Krustyland quest 36 at the moment… do I have to completely finish Krustyland for the quest to appear at this point?
Probably. It’s kind of just one of those things that pops up. No clear way to trigger it

I’m level 96 and only tasks I have are red wood tree, burns money mountain and a few SH related lvl 5 builds. Any clues as to why it’s not popping up
I also didn’t play for a year or two.
Do I need to finish the burns and redwood quest lines for it to appear?
Possibly. Sometimes it’s just sluggish…eventually it’ll trigger.
I’m level 103 – stopped playing back with the Clash of Clans update (it kept crashing my game) started up again right after Halloween this year – only 10 current tasks almost entirely Springfield Heights related. The Flaw and Order quest has not come up…thoughts?
I’m in the same boat with the exact same circumstances. I am level 103 and had quit playing for a long time. Started back up in November of this year. The only non Heights tasks I have are Burn’s money mountain and Lisa’s redwood. No Flaw and Order quest at all.

I think you two are confusing XP level and game level. The game levels stopped at 60, so the first thing you need to do is figure out which game level you’re actually at by looking through all of the walkthroughs. (There’s a place on the menu near the top that you can use to find this area of the site.) Then you need to figure out where you left off and what’s not done yet. You must complete the main parts of each game level before the game will give you the next one (or, at least, certain ones). For example, at some point, you need to compete the Princess Penelope Krustyland questline before the game will let you pay the next regular Springfield questline.
Hi Sandrashill, thanks for taking the time to reply. I am past level 60. I have completed all those quests, Googolplex, Gina, Old Jewish Man, Frankie, etc. I have the Homer mountain. And you actually still level up past 60 there’s just nothing character/building wise associated with those levels. Same! Lol – I have even tried to store Snake/Springfield Pen, Bart/Treehouse and Wiggum/Police Station to try and “force” the quest.
I didn’t say you couldn’t level up past 60 (I’m at level 939, myself) – I said that was the last level that EA released (i.e., with a new character/building combo and a storyline), before they switched over to just having events.
Sorry , when I read your response it sounded like we couldn’t be past level 60 because the levels ended there. I apologize if I was mistaken.
I’m level 49 now and didn’t see any sideshow bob quest pass by?
I’m playing tsto for just a month (pretty hardcore and every hour) but dind’t notice sideshow bob.
Was it only on the event you could get him ?
I ranked pretty fast trough a 10 day xp multiplier and missed some regular charcters because of the winter event but I’m catching up now with the charcters and unlocked wolfcastle and chalmers yesterday.

did some research after the english mission names cause mine are in dutch. these are the ones that are open at the moment + grow the mohony tree and burns money mountain
these are all missions way higher than the level 14 requirement if I’m correct
You may have to do more of Bart’s task line and squidport. Could also be too many items open as well. That happens sometimes and quests just get stuck.
so if I finnish some quests and try not to get some extra for the moment there is still a chance I get the flaw and order quests?
I currently have 17 quests open, but had 18 as a maximum one time I think.
just checked and my squidport questline is build a level 16 item. this can maybe be the holdback.

honestly I don’t remember. But it’s likely hung up somewhere along that questline…between that or the bart one.
I’m lvl 24 and the flaw and order quest still hasnt started yet, I already have the penitentiary and snake already. Is there something else that triggers this quest to start.
Unfortunately, it just starts up. Check out what’s in your task book and work your way through them and it should trigger.
I am stuck on part two of flaw and order with 2/3 captures, what do I do?
Sideshow Bob isn’t reappearing and the quest has the free up character symbol next to it (checked inventory, he’s not there)

I haven’t played in quite some time so luckily my level jumped from 50 to 55 when I opened the game again. I was wondering whether I’ll have a chance to get Sideshow Bob into my game as well?
That is a good question… he was part of a special Terwilligers update. Not sure if they will offer him again as Premium. They really should…..
Yes, you should still get the quest you see above triggered in your game at some point. Just look for the Flaw and Order questline to appear..
It has just appeared, yay! One of the best updates I found after being away for a while. Just like the “speed up” tasks.
So I finally managed to catch him three times, however, the quest to catch him 5 times did not show up (yet). Was this also the case when the quest was first launched in the game?
I remember when I did it it took a bit for the next part to hit.
I am level 14 and on flaw and order prt 2 it says i need to free up characters but they are all free what do i do?
You shouldn’t need to free anyone up. It’s just a matter of tapping SSB. What specifically is it telling you? And how is it telling you? Can you take a screenshot?

I just finished Flaw & Order part 2 last night (it’s 4:06pm here). And I haven’t been able to trigger part 3… Any tips? (I went to other Springfield and arrested Sideshow Bob but that didn’t work)
Sometimes they just get hung up…keep playing and they should trigger.
Hi, I’m wondering about if the walkthrough of the whole game is depending on the mission flaw and order? Can you continue the story/game without completing that mission? I’m stuck at pt.2 and level 13 but none of my characters are popping up with Tasks or telling things to do.
Flaw and order is new…so it shouldn’t be hindered on that. But i guess it could now…I would contact EA let them know what’s going on
The way doughnuts are dropping now I have 3 more until 3 rakes, which I will get. And then later down the road in a couple months I’ll get 3 more rakes
I have Sideshow Bob in my town (it took a while to find him all the times needed) and after doing a few of his quests, it tells me that I have to buy rakes to continue his plot. Rakes cost donuts…
As a freemium player, I am holding my donuts close to my chest. I am wondering if anybody know how many missions there are after buying rakes and if its worth spending my donuts to continue the plot.

I’m on level 14 and have the task flaw and order pt2. I captured Bob twice and now he’s not in any of the Springfield’s. What do I do ???
Keep playing. It eventually picks back up again. Try the “Other Springfield” by the Squidport Entrance.
Mine is doing the exact same thing but I’m level 13? Have you found a way to get him yet??

I have tried the other Springfield several times gone straight to the squidport and he’s just not there the other thing I’ve noticed is there some statue dude that moves around but no Sideshow Bob I’ve done this several times
at level 14 and I’ve only gotten one capture on him
In an alternate game I played… it took a few levels to complete his capture for me in that game. Just keep playing and eventually he makes his return. At least he did for me.

I’m at level 15 and just received him for completing The Flaw and Order questline. I am also able to purchase 1,5, and 15 rakes in the store. I cannot place them so any idea what they are for?
You will get a task triggered by his questline to place the rakes for him out of your Inventory.

Try arresting him in Other Springfield…see if that clears it.
I have to arrest Bob 110 times! When I click on the task it shows up as -107/3.

Bunny, I’ve noticed that on level 13 received the mission Flaw and order, and captured Sideshow Bob, and obtained. means that it could appears even on early levels yujuuu hehe, I hope this help others new players to pay attention to this mission or they will lose it tha chance to get sideshow Bob !!
Is it normal that sideshow Bob is a mute with no voice? Lol n while were on the subject is it also normal that in my game, Millhouse and Martin also have no voice??

I am at level 50 and I have played few days now. The quest doesn’t appear to me! I have logged out and all but nothing. My friends all had it instantly when they logged in
Sometimes it just takes some time. You could have too many quests, or it could be something else. Give it a little bit of time if you still don’t see if as you advance in levels contact EA, let them know.

Nope, no time limit. Sometimes it just takes some time for the next part to trigger. Eventually it’ll popup for you. Just keep playing as normal

Not really. My suggestion is to just go in and out of Other Springfield…he’ll usually popup there.
So what quest comes with this Sideshow Bob? The same one as during the event?
I’m interested with characters that are re-released after the event, whether they have different quests, especially if buildings that can’t be obtained are required.

A note regarding your Pro Tip: SSB is no longer around Squidport in Other Springfield. Since Other Springfield has been redesigned, I normally find him somewhere between Dr. Hibbert’s office and Springfield Community Center.
I always find him near the Hospital or El Chemistri.
They must have done this because of people being unhappy during the event that this locked out newer players. Good on them for listening and giving newbies a way to get him now the event is over. 🙂
