Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Well here we are, in most Tappers favorite time of the year in Springfield….Halloween! The leaves on the tress have changed colors, the water is murky and there’s a darkness that falls over our TSTO screens. All of these effects fit in perfectly with this year’s theme….Nightmares.
This Event is broken up into 3 Acts, with each Act containing part of the story. To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Act. Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event. For the second Act you’re tasked with collecting Gummies (
) to unlock each prize!
The fifth, and final, Act 2 prize awarded at 9,282 (or +4,230 from unlocking the Elder Blimp) is the Tenta Corp HQ, an event themed building for our Springfields.
So let’s take a closer look at this fifth prize and just what happens when you unlock it your Springfield…
Once you’ve collected 9,282 (or 4,230 more from prize four) you’ll automatically be awarded Tenta Corp HQ and you’ll see this message popup:
Remember if you store it you’ll have to go into your inventory to retrieve it..
So what does it do? Does it just sit there and look pretty?
Basically…yes. It’s essentially just another building for your Springfield. It will earn cash and XP, but that’s about it.
Here are some quick facts about the Tenta Corp HQ:
Size: 6×6
Build Time: 4hrs
Conform-O-Meter: Consumerism +10
Earns: $200, 20xp/12hrs
What Does It Do?: Just another building for Springfield. It’ll earn cash and XP, but this one doesn’t currently have any tasks associated with it.
And that’s it to this fifth and final Act 2 prize!
What’s Next?
Congratulations, if you’ve earned the Tenta Corp HQ you’ve earned ALL of the Act 2 prizes! Now it’s onto Act 3! Act 3 won’t start until November 4th…so you may have some downtime until then. However, make sure you’ve completed the Act 2 main questline so that when Act 3 hits you can move on. You can view the main questlines for Act 2 here.

Does anybody know if we will be able to craft wailing walls during the next act?. I’m torn between saving my zombie brains (and possibly not being able to craft wailing walls), and using them all up (and possibly not being able to craft something cool in the next act).

Chinese, …..don’t know what it’s like in America, but I have shrimp curry, egg fried rice, sesame prawn toast, & seaweed …..sometimes sweet & sour king prawn balls instead of curry
but it’s not a “light” lunch

A lot of yawning… I like the design of the building. Just wish there was more context surrounding it (i.e. dialogue). It appears to be similar enough to the impossible tower and sunken temple. Just can’t be placed on boardwalk or even beach, so I can’t place it near them. The bramble hedges might look good near. I’ll have to experiment.
I think this is a nice looking building, looks good with other glassy buildings like Ziff Co, but it’s not terribly exciting otherwise.

I’m extremely technologically impaired! My device feels like it’s running kind of slow and maybe needs to be cleaned up a little. I just don’t want to do something that’s going to make me lose my game!

Help….for some reason I can’t do the gather at the Simpson house to complete the shopkeepers daily task. Every time I click on the house the task flashes for a second then disappears. It has been doing this for a couple days now. Any thoughts… I don’t want to miss out on my 20 bonus bonuts! It’s also screwing up my gummy collecting.
Only thing I can say is contact EA, because it’s not a building that can be stored.
Mine hasn’t registered on this either😕 The people I sent earlier have finished and nothing has happened.

Yawn, got this yesterday, finished rail yard, now just waiting and collecting wailing walls. I stored my irs so that I was sure to not collect my adults at the Simpson house this morning. Didn’t realize how much I was used to the large collecting radius already. Was glad to put it back in my s.f. and have quick collecting again.
We’re the exact opposite as far as the IRS Building is concerned. Mine was tucked into storage shortly after it was released. 🔚
Just got it yesterday. Act 1, it took me to right to the end to finish (though I did get a late start). But this one, I pulled everyone off of the ‘adult activities’ a couple days ago and made it in plenty of time. Still have most kids making smores, but the only thing going right now is monorail pieces.
Kind of nice to have a pause after a few frantic weeks with Act 1 and all the side concurrent quests.
I unlocked it yesterday. I wish the scale was slightly larger but I like it. I barely made it in Act one but Act two was much easier for me. Now I wonder if I should put the adults back to work earning Monorail pieces in order to earn five free donuts.

I got it at the weekend. It’s now sat in Springfield Heights next to the ZiffCorp office with a couple of Rigelian shrubs at the entrance 🙂
Ignore previous comment. I must not have squished all the bunnies at 5:30 this morning after letting a friend’s dog out (first night dog sitting). Skeletons are showing up now. All is good. 🙂
Just went into my game and my town is not spawning nightmares. There’s usually a bunch at the campfire waiting to be squished when I open the game in the morning. Anyone else having this problem?

This THoH event has been extremely disappointing so far. Aside from the bonus donuts (Ok that is pretty nice), there has been nothing exciting about the quest line or prizes so far, on top of having confusing and convoluted currency and tasks to get said currency. EA needs to step up BIG TIME for act 3. :-/

Stopped sending adults to do their pixelated adult activities, have my bonfire on Zombies because Wailing wall XP/$ bonus in exchange for spending THOH currency is awesome, and closing in on my weekly monorail donuts.
I wonder if another level is gonna drop between now and the 4th… By the way, if you “level up” to the bonuts 2 times, are you set to level up for the next two levels as soon as they hit? With the bonus XP genny, I got two level ups (thanks bloodmobiles)… Will 59 and 60 both hit automatically now when they’re released?

Got it yesterday . A bit underwhelming to be honest . Concentrating on wailing walls as campfire is up to lvl41 and the railyard . Bring on Act 3 .
