Remember…this is an automatic change in your game. Nothing to download, it should just start up in your game..
Homer will start things off for you, with an 8hr task for 5 adults to Gather at the Simpson House.
Just what does Act 3 have in store for us? Let’s take a look…
Campfire Note: Nightmares will NO LONGER Spawn from the Campfire with Act 3. There are other ways to unlock the spawning Nightmares, and details are in the post….
First….if you don’t see content (questline) for Act 3 check to make sure you’ve completed the Act 2 Main questline. Details on that can be found on this post.
The switch from Gummies to Candy Apples will happen even if you didn’t finish the questline. But the next questline will NOT start unless you finish The Very Young Folk AND The Springfield Horror from Act 2.
New Prize Currency for Act 3..
Candy Apples
You’ll earn Candy Apples once again by tapping on the nightmares in Springfield. So Zombies, Snakes, Bunnies and Skeletons, will all yield them. 1 per squish. (Note: Once you start The Blameless City you will no longer be able to spawn Nightmares at the Campfire. BUT they will move later in the questline. (in my game I was still able to send the kids to Roast S’mores once I had the Adults on The Sandwich Horror task, but I won’t know if they spawn anything until after 7..so we’ll see what happens there. So the task will still be there during The Sandwich Horror, but for sure once you start the Blameless City the task will disappear from the Campfire) (more on this in a minute)
You can also earn them once again via the Daily Play Combo…where you earn bonus Candy Apples each day just for logging into your game.
You’ll earn Candy Apples each time you complete a part of the main questline (this time it’s The Blameless City).
Candy Apples can be earned by defeating the M’nthster, there are various ways to do this…(More on this in a minute)

Yes, they’re still around for Act 3 and work exactly the same as they did in Act 1 and 2.

IF you didn’t collect them all… you can still access them by tapping on the “ACT TWO PRIZES” tab in the Personal Prizes area. As you can no longer collect items for them, your only option now is to pay donuts to outright by each one left at the point you left off at.

Adults Earning Currency
This is NO LONGER available for Act 3. If you send an adult on a task at the Simpson House, Kill-E-Mart or Krusty Murder they will NOT yield event currency.
Campfire Nightmare Spawns
Seeing a lot of confusion over this. Here’s the deal….Nightmares will not Spawn in your town once Act 3 starts automatically. They’ll be replaced with StarSpawns later in the questline (that will spawn Automatically). HOWEVER…you can still spawn nightmares via an 8hr task with the kids later in Act 3 (Read below for more on that).
Once you start The Blameless City the TASK to Roast S’mores and spawn nightmares will disappear from the Campfire. So they kids will no longer be able to go there to yield Nightmares like the have in the past (again, there’s another option just read below). HOWEVER…during The Sandwich Horror (which takes at least 8hrs to complete), you can still send the kids to Roast S’mores at the Campfire. Doing this task (which takes 4hrs) will yield the Nightmares as it always has. As long as you’re on The Sandwich Horror. Once you start The Blameless City the task goes away.
So to make the most of it, spawn nightmares at the Campfire while doing The Sandwich Horror but DO NOT stop progress on the questline because you’re worried about nightmares. Keep playing as you normally would…and you’ll unlock the new way to yield Nightmares (again details are below).
And please…don’t panic over this. There are LOADS of ways to earn Candy Apples (i listed them all at the top) and you should have no problem getting all the prizes, with or without the nightmare spawns.
Earning Nightmares/Defeating the M’nthster/Star Spawns
Almost everything above you’ll see without completing any of the new questline (the new ways to earn Candy Apples you will not see). However, once you complete some of the new questline that’ll trigger more Act 3 stuff to start. Completing the Sandwhich Horror initial task with Homer and the adults to Gather at the Simpsons House (x5) will trigger the rest of Act 3 to start….
The following appears AFTER you complete The Sandwich Horror
Once you start The Blameless City (starts AFTER The Sandwich Horror) you’ll unlock the ability to “battle” the M’nthster. Initially you’ll have to tap him out of the sky…and you simply tap on it 10 times. This will award you 5 candy apples each time.
Next you’ll be tasked with defeating the M’nthster at the Campfire. This is a task at the Campfire that takes 4hrs to complete. Once this triggers you will NO LONGER be able to send kids to make S’mores..This can only be done by Lisa, Milhouse, Martin & Bart.
Again once you start the Act 3 stuff you will NO LONGER be able to send kids to make S’mores to spawn nightmares. So be careful how you trigger it….Nightmares will still spawn automatically, but not as they once did. So DO NOT start The Blameless City unless you’re ready (it will move else where later in the questline…but just be prepared to not be able to do it at the campfre) (in my game I was still able to send the kids to Roast S’mores once I had the Adults on The Sandwich Horror task, but I won’t know if they spawn anything until after 7..so we’ll see what happens there. So the task will still be there during The Sandwich Horror, but for sure once you start the Blameless City the task will disappear from the Campfire)
After you defeat the M’nthster at the campfire, he’ll move to the Sunken Temple where you’ll once again have to defeat him. This time you just tap 10 times again (like when he was in the sky), you’ll earn 10 Candy Apples each time.
Once defeated at the Temple the M’nthster and the Temple will disappear…but they’ll both be back in 12hrs to defeat again!
Star Spawn will appear once you’ve defeated the M’nthster at the Sunken Temple…they appear like nightmares (randomly) and you simply tap on them to clear them. Tapping the Star Spawn will earn you crafting currency. (random)
Hunting Nightmares is a task that’ll appear for your kids to do at the Brown House via the Something Strange in the Neighborhood quetline. It’s an 8hr a 4hr task (looks like EA lowered the time on 11/5) for the kids (Same ones from the Campfire) to do and it’ll spawn nightmares for you. Each kid will spawn a DIFFERENT nightmare. So the days of selecting all the kids to spawn 1 nightmare are over. Here’s who spawns what and how many:
Bart, Database, Gino, Sherri and Terri & Laura spawn Skeletons. 2 for freemium 4 for premium 8 for Sherri and Terri
Milhouse, Ralph, Rod, Todd, Shawna, Jessica and Uter spawn Bunnies. 2 for Freemium 4 for Premium
Martin, Michael, Kearney, Greta, Jimbo and Squeaky Voiced Teen spawn Zombies. 2 for Fremium 4 for Premium
Lisa, Hugo, Nelson, Dolph and Janey spawn snakes. 2 for Freemium 4 for premuum

I am not sure how but some of my kids got stuck at the campire Fire roast s’mores. Placing the building they came with in the inventory and then pulling them back out helped to get some back but what about the ones that I bought from the game a la carte (like Kearney and Sherri and Terri) ? Is anyone else having this issue? I did not see anything in the glitches section about it
Because Roasting s’mores (as this post above says) is disabled for Act 3. So you’ve essentially gotten yourself stuck. You need to contact EA for them to roll your game back.

Act three sucks. I have never been so disappointed in an update in years of playing game. Upgrading campfire is near impossible . you can’t craft what you need and for the entire time your fighting monster at campfire everything else seems to be on hold .. No nightmares aroundxnone of the star monsters nothing. Completely hate it

This is Ludicrous, 30 skeletons for shopkeeper quest and I get 2 every four hours. Is management trying to lose players? Last year I quit a came for the same thing (a change of rules midstream) and I am about to quit this one also and spend my money on a game that shows they appreciate their players.
RELAX. You have all week to finish it. It doesn’t have to be done today. It’s completely doable…
Honestly you do what you want to do. But it’s not worth getting frustrated about. Tomorrow you’ll still be able to do day 1’s task AND you’ll unlock and be able to complete day 2s task.
Is Krusty Murder supposed to be a place where the kids go to hunt nightmares? When I click on the Brown House it says that but there is nothing at Krusty Murder. So I’m just confused on that.
Just the brown houses are used.

I’ve been trying to defeat the m’nthster for four days now. Tapping on him at the temple,sending the four characters to the campfire to send him back to the sunken temple.
What I have noticed is the stars around the light from the sunken temple change.
Last night before going to bed I had three lights spinning and two above the light.
Gets up this morning,defeats him at the campfire only to notice it’s back to five spinning stars around the light from the sunken temple.
This has been the worse campaign to date and I’ve been playing for around two years.
I’m only getting snakes and zombies too even with 20+ kids. Major 4 all costumed and it still takes 2 goes to chase off m’nster or whatever his name is. Sigh. Was really fun until act 3 came in.
Me too – I’m like super frustrated. Even if I send Bart and Database to the Brown house I only get zombies and snakes – no skeletons. Yesterday there were some bunnies too, but not anymore. There must be some kind of a bug, hope they soon change the zombies to skeletons or something.
If you’re spending money why not buy some premium skins to help with the event? I’m freemium and have just the two kids for skeletons, too. You can finish the challenge over the next 7 days. You’re good. Could even not send Bart to fight; gamble a bit.
I’m feeling very discontent with act 3. There is no way I am getting enough apples to get the UFP as immonly on 2000 at the minute, so won’t even get the re-neducation centre. This act is just not fun. I got all act 2 prizes with a day to spare. Grumpy now, don’t see the point anymore
Are you sure? Have you checked the calendar post to see where you are in relation to where you ideally should be? So many folks say stuff like this near the beginning of an act and then they end up getting the final prize just fine. (Plus, EA usually gives players an extra day or two after the event is supposed to be over before they force an update, so you may have a little more time than you think, although there’s no guarantee of that). Also, in the past, when it looks like took many people are in danger of not making it to the final prize, EA had sometimes increased the amount of event currency you get later on into the act.
Bottom line, I wouldn’t get all hot and bothered this early into the act.
I am beyond frustrated and angry. Yes it’s only a game but how are they just going to screw us like this at the end? 6 bunnies from 20 donuts and the stupid game isn’t spawning any bunnies for the past 3 days. I tried different brown houses. I uninstalled, reinstalled. I check EA forums. Nothing. What a big waste of time!

Just found this blog – really good to see so many players! L58 (completed) gamer – nearly 3 yrs. Loving THOH – also get annoyed as 200 apples away from U.F.P and worrying that not enough spawn to get a further ‘x’ thousand for the Re-NEDucation centre but hey-ho. just keep fighting the M’nthster then setting all 4 kids on him (2 sets of 4hrs normally wipes him out) then a 12hr wait and time spent with all kids Hunting nightmares at the Brown house then rinse and repeat. Hopefully I’ll get there but favourite update since the Castles / Monorail – just a shame the XP Collider needs donuts!! Have favourited this site so will be a regular contributor – I’m proof that you can play long term without spending real cash! We are just more patient!
Welcome! I found this blog about six months ago and I now visit it at least once a day (many, many more during events). As a fellow fremium player, it’s important to me to make the most of the game without spending donuts, and this site allows me to do that. 🙂
So yesterday I was busy so I basically only got on to fight and send to brown house when needed. No star spawn tapping. I noticed none of the red glowing balls have gone up into the light beam. Got me thinking….. I have gotten four of those balls up into the beam what might happen if you get all five. Has anyone achieved that? May be totally wrong but just curious???????
My first task for the donuts this week is to squish 30 skeletons, but with only Bart creating Skeletons, 2 every four hours that will take 60 hours, if I don’t sleep or use him to fight M’nthster, I can’t see how to do this task. Any ideas?
That’s the sticky wicket. You can’t already have started producing them, so that’s right out. All I can see left is the gate to nowhere and any neighbors that haven’t progressed into Act 3……
Let’s say you had Bart doing nightmares at 7 a.m., 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. and fighting M’nthster at 7 p.m. and 11 p.m. (yes, it’s a very long day, and you have to be fairly precise with your timing). Then you could squish 30 in five days. And if you got a few each day from the Gate to Nowhere, you might be able to shave a day off that (or you could miss one of the three-a-day hunting nightmare chores). It’s challenging, but doable. Have faith! Bonuts are yours! Good luck!
I have the same problem but even when I send Bart to spawn skeletons it is hit or miss if they actually appear. I have multiple brown houses as suggested in other posts but I have had 10 skeletons since the act 3 update. Any ideas?

No I don’t. Just the one.
Separate them. You can only get a max of 20 nightmares at a time…this post explains more

I am having the exact same problem, I need to squish 30 skeletons and with only Bart creating 2 skeletons at a time, I will never get this done. None of my neighbours have any skeletons and the Gate to Nowhere only spawned 3 today… If anyone has any ideas how I can get around this, it would be much appreciated! And again, thanks very much for this great blog, really appreciate that it’s a lot of work!
Remember that you have all week to do the Shopkeeper’s Challenge, so if you can just squish five skeletons a day, you will make it.
I have the same problem, the only way i see to complete this task is to buy Sherri&Terri that gives you 8 skeletons each 4 hours, but spending 150 donuts for getting 20 is not worth it
True, but they are worth having around for these types of events and for their higher output on normal tasks. If you wanted them anyways, even better.
I do have Sherri & Terri & should get 16 skeletons every 4 hours but none come out. I’ve even got them in a separate brown house now” how do I address this.
That’s the question of the event! Try a gander at some of the other posts on this site. They might just do the ticket.
It seems that actually you don’t have to do the missions in one day, you can squish 30 skeletons in various days, you have to clear the 5 missions before next monday and you can get the donuts. That’s what i read in an EA forum

This all well and good if the required nightmares are being spawned but if not your not going to ever complete it regardless of the length of time allowed. You can’t tap things that don’t exists.

You do have all week to complete the prizes, so if you just get five skeletons a day, you should be OK. (If you are one of those who are not getting any skeletons, keep the faith–they may start spawning for you yet.) 🙂
I am using the mausoleum which spawns 8 skeletons every 8 hours….and Database also spawns the same number as Bart . So total 16 every 8 hours .. it should be possible ….?? No skeletons walking about in my friends sites apparently ?
I have one issue more: even if bart hunts nightmares I don’t get ANY skeleton. I’ve already sent Bart to the brown house twice and no skeleton appeared after completing the action. Any idea???!!
You can either wait until tomorrow and see if they spawn, or contact EA. If they don’t spawn tomorrow for sure contact EA
I’m having problems completing this week’s shopkeepers challenges. It wants me to hunt nightmares with the youngsters, but sends me to brown house, but then says hunt nightmares at krusty murder. But still gives me no option. What am I missing?? Or is this a glitch??? Thanks!
Dont tap on “do it” instead go directly to the brown house… BUT… you need to be to that point to do it too.

I click on the brown houses and it tells me to hunt nightmares at krusty murder. What do I have to have completed for it to work? I thought I had everything completed to this point.
Where are you in the Questlines? Part # and names of those open in your task Menu? Do any of them match our Turbo tap for Act 2 or Act 3? That will tell you where you are.
I don’t think I have the turbo tap quest started….. It seems that this week, I’m not going to get my 20 donuts.
I’ve removed all m’nthster’s tentacles several times now, and he just flies to the other location every time. At what point will I defeat him? Is there a specific number of fights I have to win? I even used a ton of donuts a couple of times to eliminate the time crunch, and here I am again waiting another 12 hr block to try again. Am I missing something?
Fighting him is meant to go in a loop. As of now, we aren’t defeating him… just fighting him.

Only thing i miss is getting reliable number of terrors to drop in neighbours towns. Drop rate has sunk to 1/4 or worse. The monster battle 10 tap rinse & repeat is getting very old, when will this link off to something different?
Thankgod i got my Campfire to level 66 in the last Act, as its a slow process in Act 3, 2-3 days for bunnies 😱.

i don’t seem to be getting all my nightmares. I have 4 brown houses spread apart. I send the snake kids to one, zombie to another etc. I have 3 kids each for zombie and snake, only Milhouse for bunnies and only Bart for skeletons. the last 2 times i haven’t gotten any bunnies or skeletons. I have cleared all zombies first, before going to the next. Also the last time, i only got 2 shakes.
20 Nightmares allowed in your game at one time. So make sure you clear EVERYONE of them before releasing anymore.
This is just I suggestion to maximize taffy apple output…. From what I understand no matter how many kids you send to fight monsters…. Only 20 nightmares will spawn in your town when you click on the brown house… So what I have been doing that works well is that I have 4 brown houses set apart from each other. Send all the kids that spawn Zombies to one, rabbits to another and so on…… when the four hours is up click only one brown house and clear all the nightmares it spawns…. Then do the next one and so on….. This way you will get a taffy apple from each of your kids and get all of the monsters you should with no problem.

I’m not sure, but I think I may be getting ripped off (this stinks, total BS, et al 🐂).
I have sent the main 4 to fight M’nthster twice, but only need 5 fighting him, so I end up with 3 left over. Now the stupid mechanic is that I have to tap each character individually to release them. (Almost there….) On the second round, after I tap only 1 character M’nthster is released… and so are the other 3 characters, but before I have a chance to tap them. I’m pretty sure those apples aren’t getting counted….! I’d be out 12!
I’ve been wrong before, so I’ll be checking again *sigh* tomorrow.

Thanks. I assume you mean about achieving all prizes. I’m sure, too. I guess my enthusiasm is down because the game is essentially stealing from me. In-game, that is.
I read the advantage glitch before I got to that part. I tried so hard to do it on my A and B games…I even moved my campfire to boardwalk pieces next to the….protruding thingy, but it just auto-started on me. I really wish I could have gotten the glitch as well.
I think I might know how to keep it from autostarting. You need to have a completed task (a thumbs up) on the triggering character and to leave that untapped. Then you go tap crazy on the Sunken Temple.

Am I the only one who when I click the top tab to see the prizes the game crashes and says not responding and kicks me out. Is really annoying as I cannot see what prizes are available or how many apples I needed until I found this post
Is anyone else showing two different Apple totals? One on the Act Three Prizes and a larger total by the task book? I’m confused about why there would be two. Is there a reason all apples don’t count toward prizes?

The one in your main springfield is your overall total. The number you see in the prize list is how many you need until the next prize unlocks..
Hey, this is confusing.. First of all, i don’t see ANY star spawn in my town, and although i have over 20 kids, i do not get a single skeleton from the brown house either. At this pace, since we don’t get lolly pops from our neighbors, i will never be able to get all 3 prizes
Starspawn only appear when the m’nthster disappears for the 12hr period. So if he’s at the campfire that’s why you don’t see them.
And they’re really not important anyway…they don’t give you Candy Apples. Just crafting currency…
When the Sunken Temple is replaced by the shaft of light, if you click on the shaft of light you get a message that reads “Clear Star Spawn until M’nthster returns: XXh XXm XXs” with a yellow status bar. I’m assuming that the yellow bar is measuring the amount of StarSpawn that I’ve dispatched. I almost succeeded last night, and that was a LOT of StarSpawn! What happens if I manage to dispatch them all and fill the bar completely, before the clock runs out and M’nthster returns?
No the yellow bar is the countdown until the M’nthster returns…
I also have no skeletons spawning at all. There are kids that do it, but when I release the kids from the houses its everything but skeletons. Frustrating when I need 200 for the next campfire level.
I have the same issues, send the right kids to produce skeletons, but none ever appear.
Try hard closing and restarting your device…sometimes it’s just not synced up properly.
I don’t know if this is unique to me or not but my nightmares do not spawn near the brown house. Up until 2d ago I only had the 1 brown house. After reading it here I built 3 more along the far back left corner (rear upper strip of land) well spaced from each other & anything else. No matter which brown house I tap, the nightmares spawn next to the brown house in the back left (upper left) corner house. I have no idea why. So make sure to look all around your town after tapping on any 1 brown house. They may be spawning out of your field of view. Also, a couple of minutes after tapping the main spawn horde I usually find 1 or 2 stragglers (snakes, rabbits usually) roaming around town. Good luck.

Tap on the Brown House…you’ll see a list of tasks for kids. That’s hunt nightmares….

Does anyone know how to craft the ubo skin for burns? It doesn’t show up in my items that I can craft.

I’ve also been waiting for the cemetary to be re-released. The event isn’t over yet. Let’s hope for some final additions to the store before the event ends.
Hunting Nightmares is a task that’ll appear for your kids to do at the Brown House via the Something Strange in the Neighborhood quetline. It’s an 8hr task for the kids (Same ones from the Campfire) to do and it’ll spawn nightmares for you.
I just noticed abovementioned task turned into a 4hr job. Not bad 😉

Either it was so quick we didn’t see it (in didn’t check the files) or it was just a change on the server
I heard that they can make changes to each user individually (through an automated batch process, I’m sure). Either way, I’m glad they did. That change gave me a headache (because it made things more than twice as hard).
In the brown house is typed Hunt nightmares at Krusty Murder, but there is not nothing, only quests for adults. And yes I have Krusty Murder. Help pls. I need those 20 donuts from Shopkeeper…
Ignore it. You send the kids to the brown house..it’s just a mistake.

I have 1861 candy apples. It says I hv unlocked Apu’s Apocalypse car, but its neither in my town or my inventory (I admit, sometimes things disappear in my inventory as I tap too fast :-)).
Anyways, is this a glitch?! Anyone else not getting the car?!

On a semi-related note about things disappearing….I unlocked the Bloodbath and Beyond back in August. But never got it in my inventory. Contacted EA after the last event ended in Sept, they had to escalate it. Beginning of Oct, I got one email from them saying they were gamers too and would fix it if I still had the problem. I emailed that yep, I was still missing the building. Anyway, never heard from them again and Bloodbath and Beyond just showed up in my inventory after one of these updates. The same update that took from my inventory the second (duplicate) Burns(?) snowman and second Nativity Scene that had been there forever.
I just noticed that I have the same problem. Did you have any luck contacting EA?
I contacted EA and they said that I already have the jeep. I didn’t get awarded it and when I went looking, it was dumped in a place I would never have put it. Anyway, if it wasn’t awarded for you, just snoop around your town – it may already be there.
This totally sucks! I still need 102 skeletons to complete the evil clock task? And earn 20 donuts??? This is BS, why would they not let you know how to finish that task it’s the second or third task to get you twenty donuts and none of these things that spawn put rib bones towards the amount of skeletons you have to get…re upgrade the fire??? So how oh how do I upgrade the fire one last time to complete evil clock task? Please help?

The most the brown house will do is four skeletons every four hours, ( with no premium characters) you get twice as many zombies, snakes, etc. so I have 1day and let’s say 16 hours, thats only ten x four for a total of 40 skeletons at most, that can be earned via the brown house?
Don’t know if this comment posted already, if so, apologies but…..four skeletons every four hours with 1.75 days left, only allows for 40 skeletons….so it will not allow enough to complete the shop keeper challenge for me, as I need skeletons to upgrade the fire. Also most friends now have mini monsters instead of snakes, zombies, etc and the dont seem to count against the fire upgrade like the others did.
You maybe SOL then. The task hit Tuesday..so it was doable when it unlocked. The longer you wait in it the harder it is to accomplish

That sucks because it goes against the concept that this was a weekly deal and not a daily deal. Sometimes it’s good to not listen to you. 🙉😉
Unfair. It *was* a weekly deal, but that doesn’t mean that one could necessarily wait until the last minute and then get everything done. I didn’t complete it in the day it popped up, but, when things changed at the start of Act 3, it wasn’t hard to seed the writing on the wall, so I made sure to turn my full attention to getting that part done before it was too late. The info wasn’t wrong, but that doesn’t mean that one could just shut down all common sense and ignore what was going on! And, btw, it’s still possible to upgrade one’s campfire…it happened to me a day or two ago, without my even trying!
The advice to not listen and to use our own decision making processes is in every Should I Buy post. It may even be in other posts, not that I specifically noticed.
I would love to simply follow all advice here. I know that things can get messed up if you go out of order or don’t finish certain tasks. They can also get messed up if you follow exactly as the game and this site lays out.
That an act change occurred in the middle of our weekly challenge probably should have been a big tip off to get it done right away. I don’t think I was that smart. I figured that EA wouldn’t just muck (a stronger word might have gone here) it up, but would gracefully lead into the last act with ease. But, while not being smart enough for that it did make sense to me to get each thing out of the way so that it wouldn’t haunt me just like it is doing right now for so many of these poor folk.
I had also completed at least one challenge the day after it started. The upcoming week may well put the challenge back into its namesake. It may be possible to play this way, but that’s a big shift from the last two acts.
Regardless, I was not trying to say that the advice was not good. Just that I, personally, try to listen to my own thoughts on the matters at hand as much as I listen to their advice. That, in this case, it paid off. Trust me, the inverse statement could be made, too. “If only I had followed their advice.” I guess you’d welcome a statement like that. But the other statement (the one I made) has to occur, by chance, too. It shouldn’t be taken as a put down, in any way. Thanks to the mods for putting my comments through without issue. I hope it’s as well understood as I’m assuming that it is.
This event is almost over. I hope to make it to the end without any bad feelings amongst all of us. *chants “10 more days”*

Those compilation clips are probably better for people that remember it anyways. The first time was funny. The second time still made me smile. The third and fourth time were “hmm”. The fifth time I was like, “really?” lol. Etc.

Yesterday before I started the blameless city quest I had the daily challenge of squishing 30 bunnies, I spawned them at the campfire but once it was done I never actually got bunnies and now when it click do it, it sends me to brown house, so am I just screwed with the daily challenges now?
No you can get them from the Brown House or from Neighbors, if any still have bunnies spawning.
This all seems like one of those math questions: The green train leaves the station at 8 am, the blue bus leaves the station at 9 am. When do they stop for lunch? At three, because cows can’t fly and grapes are really a vegetable.
I read and re-read all the information but it’s still confusing for me although it is really okay because the only prize so far I would be unhappy missing is the Holiday Homer and I’m feeling confidant that I can get him.

So when & how does Something Strange in the Neighborhood start?? Have completed everything else, gotten Apu’s jeep. Nothing is triggering. Sending 4 kids to battle M’nthster at campfire just because. Am I supposed to tap on brown house to see special tasks? It still looks the same as always.
All my characters except those 4 kids are on regular tasks, making me mo’ money, mo’ money, mo’money. 🙂

That’s my point, Something Strange in the Neighborhood has NOT triggered. The only things in my task bar are the log face to upgrade the campfire (no longer possible since can’t select or generate nightmares) & a Bart face to have Bart & Milhouse have sleepovers which I have been ignoring for many days now. Nothing in task bar, no skin or special anything for brown house although the nightmare tasks are in it if I tap it. Which is why I HATE EA for sticking tasks on bldgs & not on the characters’ task list in gold at the top of the list.

You should still be able to send the kids there…tap on the brown house. But the task itself…Bart needs to be free and sometimes the task gets stuck. Try going to Kland and back or hard closing and restarting…
I have everyone free. Have been to KL & back a couple of times. Have turned phone off & back on a couple of times. No questline has triggered. I do have the 8hr nightmare tasks in the brown house (which I would not know about if not for this site, thanks again EA for sticking tasks not just with a bldg (not CHARACTERS), but not putting any special indicator on the bldg).
Should I contact EA or just send everyone possible to the brown house & hope to earn enough to get the prizes? I somehow got Apu’s jeep yesterday but other than that I am getting kind of worried.

I wouldn’t worry about the prizes…as long as you can hunt nightmares and have the M’nthster fighting unlocked you’ll be fine
Should I be sending kids to battle M’nster at the campfire & make nightmares or just do the nightmares? This act is a fuster cluck. It never occurred to me or would have occurred to me to make more brown houses w/o reading it here. I only ever made the one.

Only bart, lisa, milhouse and martin can battle at the campfire..and only when the m’nthster is there. So send all the other kids to hunt nightmares. Send bart, lisa, milhouse and martin to the campfire when the m’nthster is there and to hunt nightmares when it’s not.
Is anyone else having trouble with the game crashing this morning. I opened up the game, cleared the skeletons, accidentally clicked on visit neighbor icon and the game crashed. I hard closed all of my apps. Tried again 3 or 4 times and it kicks me out after I tap the donut to continue. Any tips would be great.

Its quite simple really… Instead of spawning nightmares from the campfire with a 4 hour s’more kids task, you know have an 8 hour hunt nightmares task for all the kids by tapping on ANY brown house. The nightmares spawned give either a snake rabbit bones or brains payout plus 1 toffee apple
I’m curious though, as when I tap on a brown house I have a text box which says “hunt nightmares at krusty murder… ” Can’t get either the adults or kids to do this???
