You would think someone paid attention to my Christmas Wants Post, right? That or this lil Bunny has a bit of (as Alissa jokingly calls it) “ESPN” or an “inside scoop”. Either way you want to look at it WINTER IS COMING…errrr… WINTER IS HERE!!
With this fun new Winter Wonderland Scene going on in our silly lil games now, there of course just HAS to be a Calendar, right? WRONG!! I AM BOYCOTTING THEM!! NO CALENDARS FOR YOU! NEXT!!!

EVENT CALENDAR STARTING 12/9/15, DAY 2 OF ACT 1
As per usual, I will be starting the Calendar one day AFTER the Act releases so you can factor in time you will need to send Characters on tasks, get Buildings, and fully launch the New Event. I will also be stopping it the night BEFORE the Act ends, as it will give you enough time to focus on all the other last minute stuff.
Again, do not panic. Remember that it is slow going at first so you may “appear” to be behind, but as you progress you will start to see that you are getting more and more and more each day. So just go at a pace that fits you, but remember the more you play the more you will get. These are totals you want to reach by the end of each day if possible.
Now you have a basic daily breakdown for 10 days based off of approximately 2885 
Festive Hats a day.
ACT ONE PRIZES
Here’s the rundown of the prizes available during Act 1 that you can win by just playing the game and collecting Festive Hats.
Leftorium Express- 2200 Festive Hats
Springfield Orphanage- 5800 Festive Hats
Dancing Reindeer- 11300 Festive Hats
Virgil’s Cabin- 19900 Festive Hats
Patches and Poor Violet- 28850 Festive Hats
BONUS ROUND?
YES! The “BONUTS” (Bonus Donuts) are back. Once you have collected the 28850 Festive Hats needed for the Personal Prizes, you then will get the chance to earn some more for a Bonus Gift.
My Bonus Gift Rounds were 4000 Festive Hats so far.
Once you reach the 4000 Festive Hats, the 3 Donut Box Pop Up will appear and you have a 1 in 3 chance to tap a box and get 3 Donuts. If you do not get the 3 Donuts, you can pay $150,000 to try again until you get the 3 Donuts you want.
There you have it. A Calendar of Festive Hats just for Big Phil and Sandra to keep them off my back RAWR… and… uhhh … errr… for you all to stay on track to get the 5 Personal Prizes. Yah, that was it. 😉

thanks for posting this breakdown! I always find the calendars to be super helpful (and for right now at least I’m ahead!)
I’m wondering if the mods or any commenters have thoughts about the most useful spending of crafting items. With bows being. in short supply, it would be great to know what people think is most worth their crafting items.

Personally, I am saving up for the Ski Chalet, as it is a building that generates revenue.
After that, I’m focused on Santa’s Little Helper Snowdog, as it previously came with a 0.75% bonus. I’m hoping that will still apply.
SLH snowdog is just a vanity item. no bonus
Craft the two buildings first, since they give hats (well, don’t know about the ski lodge, but the other one does, which you have to craft anyway for the questline). With the decorations, either craft the ones you’d like to have now to decorate your town for the holidays, or, if you’re okay waiting, then the best thing to do is to wait and not craft any of those until towards the end of the event. If this event follows the pattern of past events, EA should release more craftables as the event goes on (usually as each new act is released), so you might be sorry if you use crafting materials now and find that you wished you hadn’t because you really wanted something that EA releases later more instead.
But, once it gets close to the end of the event, craft, craft, craft, since those materials won’t do you any good after the event is over (and have lots of decorating material on hand is always useful…especially “all-purpose” types of things, like walls).
Oh, one last thing…keep any eye out on this site (and all of the comments), in case someone spots a craftable that comes with an unadvertised bonus multiplier (like the tennis courts and spooky walls had from earlier events)…took my bonus multiplier up about 200% that way!
How do u get presents to drop in friends towns? Do you automatically get 5 a day?

I’m 2 days behind but it won’t take long to play catch up. I love all the free Christmas buildings and the prizes seem pretty cool. Lots of walkers and a few characters with tasks.

How do you get more naught or nice neighbor presents?!
You can’t. The game gives you five per day (currently) and that’s it.
How are you supposed to earn the daily challenge of dropping 200 presents in friends towns if you only get 5 presents a day? Even a full week would only be 35, 200 is insane…
The challenge is only 5

After yesterday’s initial task to drop presents in another’s town… I’ve not earned any more to drop. Am I missing something on how to earn them?
I don’t have any more presents to complete this task! 😿
You need to wait until 24 hours has passed since you last gifted. (You may also have to refresh your town to get them, by restarting the game (or maybe just going to Krustyland/neighbors and back).
