Game Reset Back to Level 1 Info: If you did not have an EA/Origin Account we’re seeing LOADS of reports of this update completely erasing your game because you were playing anonymously. If that’s you and you didn’t have an EA/Origin Account, your game is most likely completely lost. You can try to contact EA and see if they can restore it for you, but I doubt it’ll happen.

It’s time for a little gambling in Springfield, as the Casino updated teased on Facebook last night, has arrived on our devices!
This is an APP STORE update. So check out your App Store to make sure you’re on the latest version. If you don’t see the update try hard closing and restarting and/or restarting your device. Again it’s an APP STORE update, so you’ll have to pick it up from your App Store updates.
Currently it’s live on iOS..everyone else should see it soon. It’s currently live on iOS, Android and Kindle!
It starts off with some dialogue from Quimby…and you’ll need 4 Springfielders free for a 6s task. I’ll be back with more as i go through it…
Before I get to the update…just a note. They’ve added a “copy cut and paste” tool! To access it go to your move menu (4 way arrows)
And then drag your finger to select an area:
You’ll then be able to “copy cut” that area and “paste” it anywhere in your Springfield! AMAZING for redesigns!!!
Now onto the update…
After you’ve completed the 6s task mentioned above you’ll be tasked with placing the Burns Casino. It’s a FREE building, 8×8 in size. And is an instant build. (well 6s). You’ll also be tasked with sending 4 ADULTS to get a free drink (also 6s).
You’ll then launch the “start” of the event and see the basic info screen…
You’ll then unlock the prizes for Act 1 (3 Acts again)…
You’ll also unlock new items in the store… (pretty much ALL premium..just an FYI).
And you’ll need Homer, Cletus & Moe free for another 6s task. Followed by the need to place Gaming Moe’s (also free & 5×6 in size. Also a 6s build).
Gaming Moe’s is where you can play Casino games…if you have tokens.
I’ve got to go pickup Riley now, but i’ll be back to update more once I get home. Now that a certain little girl is asleep I can update you guys…
The basics are pretty simple. For Act 1…Collect red chips 
to earn prizes. Collect gold tokens 
to “gamble”. Nice and simple right? 😉
Let’s break down the simple stuff first…
ACT 1 “ends” March 7th…I say “ends” because it says new prizes added. My guess is if you don’t unlock them you can buy them with donuts…
Act 1 Prizes
Burns Fountain- 6,800 (Earns 120 Club Card Points)
Impulse Wedding Chapel- 22,700 or + 15,900 from Prize 1 (Earns 240 Club Card Points)
Magic Act Milhouse- 44,300 or +21,600 from prize 2 (Earns 360 Club Card Points)
Britannia Casino- 71,600 or +27, 300 from prize 3 (Earns 240 Club Card Points)
Lucius Sweet- 101,200 or +29,600 from prize 4(Earns 595 Club Card Points)
You will see after you win a prize the counter starts back at zero. And you’ll have to earn the second number listed here (where it says or +….). That’s how many you have to go to claim the next prize. The first number is the running total of chips you’ll need. So you need 101,200 TOTAL chips to unlock all the prizes for Act 1….

Earning Currency
Chips can be earned a few different ways.
-You can earn them by tapping the gamblers. You’ll earn 10 for each one you tap.
-Currency can also be earned via Burns Casino. You’ll earn 110 for every 4hr action you complete there. Immediately you can send Rich Texan, Paris Texan, Princess Kashmir, Johnny Tightlips, Tuxedo Krusty, Apu, Flanders, Skinner, Rev Lovejoy & Lisa.
-Casino. You can also earn bonus via Moe’s Casino. Pull the handle to win chips 🙂
As far as Gold Tokens for the Casino…
they can be earned a couple of ways…
-Via Tasks at Burns Casino. You’ll not only earn chips but you’ll also earn tokens for each task you complete. 1 /task.
-Tapping gamblers. Occasionally tapping gamblers will generate a
Neighbor Actions
Once you’ve hit the Going Abroad task (launches after The Old Man and the ‘Sino Pt. 6) you’ll unlock neighbor actions. You can tap Gamblers in your neighbor’s towns to earn chips. 10 /tap.
Crafting
Once you’ve completed The Old Man and the ‘Sino Pt. 7 you’ll start to unlock crafting.
You first must do the task for Willie…Craft Plunk…Willie will trigger it. Once that’s complete you’ll unlock the Guide etc…
Here’s a quick breakdown of what you can craft…
Walk of Fame Star- 8 
(Can have 4)
Ficus Plant- 5 and 5 
(Can have 2)
Cycling Spotlight- 12 (Can have 12)
Constant Fountain- 10
Sequence Fountain 1- 10

There are several items that are immediately locked…still playing to see if they unlock with the next act or if something you do unlocks them
You can earn crafting currency via Moe’s Casino and Tapping Gamblers. Also, some characters have tasks to earn crafting currency We’ll break it all down in another post…
Club Cards
You’ll notice some of the premium items in store say that they award club cards. Club Cards are the “VIP” portion of the game.
So from what I see…the more club cards you earn (looks like there are other ways outside of Premium, that’s just a quick way) the more chips, tokens, crafting currency etc you’ll get. It’s got it’s own bonus prize track.
You can also earn cards via unlocking the prizes….
We’ll break this down in another post, after I’ve had some time to play around with it more.
Bonuts!
After you’ve unlocked all of the prizes you can earn bonuts! For every 8,500 you collect you’ll get the chance for bonuts via the prize box. You can win 1, 2 or 3 donuts.
New Land!
There’s a new strip of land at the bottom of Springfield (opposite the mtns) from the ocean over.
And that’s it on the Casino update…for now. Over the next couple of days we’ll break down all of the finer details of the event…including a calendar and the Should I Buy Guides. It’s all coming, I promise 🙂

Leveled up to 2 and still am only allowed to craft 4/4 Hollywood Walk of fames. At one point a “craft more” option for a 5th piece was available and then it disappeared. Any ideas?

can’t believe.. just logged in my game to keep up, and discover that I’ve lost almost 10000 chips… really EA?! and the support from EA, for brazilian customers, is awful…
I’m struggling to keep up – don’t know if I’ll be able to get Lucius before the next stage — I’m tapping in my friend’s Springs and tapping all the gamblers I see and playing all the games – but I still doubt I’ll hit the goal before the stages roll over. I’ve even bought chippy and the wives and cat-costume Miss Spring – any other advice please? :/
Where is that New Land mentioned in this article? “Bottom of springffield, opposite of mountains, from ocean over.” Eh? Help! Danke
Go to the area that’s directly opposite of your mountain range…very bottom of the game screen, closest area to your hands when holding the device. That strip that runs from the ocean to the right is what’s new.
Does the addition of new land mean that prices of older land have gone (or will go) down? My recollection is that it usually does, but wasn’t sure.
Honestly I couldn’t tell you..i add the land when it hits so I can’t go back and check.
I had three pieces of land left just before the new strip of land was added. The prices of those three pieces were $1.5, $2.0 and $2.5 million. After the strip of land was added, the prices were $750,000, $1,000,000 and $1,250,000. So, the prices dropped in half on the strip of land closest to the new strip of land.
Never received club card points when I unlocked Lucius Sweet. Do I have to finish his tasks before I get the points?

I contacted EA. They said they can see I never received the cards, and said there is nothing they can do about it. Not much help.
May want to try someone else…they should be able to fix it. Or at least roll back to when you unlocked Lucius (although you’ll lose any progress you’ve made since then)
I’m sure you already answered this, but it’s been too rough of a day to keep searching lol.. Will the gold coins that play the slots, transfer to the next act?
They should considering Cletus Dice Den just dropped, the tokens are used there, and the dialogue suggested the den will play a part in Act II.

Hello. They had a new offer today for the sleep easy hotel, it showed I would get 750 cards and what looks like a bunny or cat outfit. This is similar to the Barney bonus when you buy Barney you got the space suit Barney as well. Well, did anyone else do it? I didn’t get the 750 cards nor the new outfit, just the hotel and girl. I think it’s still a good deal for 50% off, but was hoping for the extras.

Because it’s Tuxedo Krusty. If you don’t have Tuexdo Krusty you can’t gamble..
I’ve achieved the first reward (100 casino chips) of Burns Casino Players Club, but I can’t seem to achieve the second one. Can someone help me? I know this sounds silly but it says all I have to do is “Spend tokens to play casino games” but I can’t get past 520/665 of that reward (10 Game tokens). Is this a bug? I’m obviously spending tokens to play games, how else am I supposed to make use of this update? I even tried buying tokens with donuts but nothing happened. Please help!! I’m stuck on 520/665 for days now. And it’s making this update too boring for me. Thanks.

Moe’s casino… it takes so long to use all my tokens. Drag the wheel…. wait for it to finish spinning… maybe interact with the thing, wait for moe to say something, wait for the message box asking if i want to play again… repeat. 10 seconds a token is ridiculous!
It is. Best policy is to use them as soon as you collect them. Then at least you won’t be playing the game for 20 minutes straight if you have 100 coins like I had. I’m going to semi-slowly spend it down to zero and then do as I recommended.
Am I the only one who actively *enjoys* playing the slot machine? I try to spend my tokens just a bit at a time to make the fun last!
Do you also enjoy real gambling? I’ve been, but it doesn’t enthrall me. I just mean the electronic slots. Good thing about the real one is that you don’t have to wait for the spin to finish or even add up the winnings. EA should have learned from companies like Konami.
Depends what you mean by “gambling.” I’m relatively risk adverse, so gambling for me means spending no more than $20 (last time it was just $5) in a penny slot machine, usually playing just one line for one cent or, if I’m feeling extravagant, five lines for one cent each. I would never re-spin before the reels stopped – heck, I usually try to wait at least a couple of seconds afterwards before I replay – because I’m playing for the entertainment value, so I want to stretch it out as much as possible (but not so much that it’s not fun). I also only play the kinds of slot machines that have little bonus round “games” – ones that just have plain reels with nothing else don’t hold any allure whatsoever.
I’m glad that EA programmed this slot machine exactly the way they did (although the potential for some kind of fun “bonus round” would have been extra sweet!). I like waiting to see what I got, both in terms of what happens with the reels and what my final reward is for the spin. (It’s kind of fun the way they sometimes throw in the crafting currency and/or let you “cheat”!)
I do! I don’t gamble in real life but love this. I had 2 minutes and forty seconds to wait for a job to finish with 38 coins. By the time I was done the job still wasn’t finished. It’s not a big deal
Has anyone else had their Kang disappear since the casino update? I haven’t put him or any of the alien related items in storage. He’s simply gone!
Anyone else having trouble with their chip numbers? On my main screen it says 7000 more than what it is recognizing on the prize screen!

Ok people about the crafting u have to level it 10 times to get to level 2 then 10 more times to level 3…no prize will be unlock until u level it to the required level..hope this helps.. by the way it will take u hrs of playing slot to level, which is the only to level
Hello. I have a gambler wandering around my town that is untappable. Its the blonde in black and red. Tried like a hundred times. Not sure if this is an issue for anybody else. Thoughts?
I had that happen, i just hard closed my game and went back to it and the gambler was gone.
Yeah, I call them Ghost Gamblers. They are there, but they are not really. I usually get 2 or 3 everytime I return to collect and reassign tasks. I think they are either gamblers who were tapped, but didn’t shift into ‘run for the casino’ mode as I usually find them wandering close to my casino, or they are glitches in the code.
I’ve had it with at least 2 of the 4 different gamblers – the blonde & purple shirt dude.
I thought it was funny – that not all the gamblers are keen to run back to the casino to lose more money! 😃
I didn’t immediately place the burns fountain when I earned it (got distracted and put down the phone), but now I don’t have it. I’m up to 14000 chips and the progress bar extends across the screen, but the fountain isn’t in my inventory and I can’t find it or buy it anywhere. Has anyone else had this issue?
Did you check your overall inventory list, not just the icons?
Well, I scrolled all the way across in my inventory on all three sections (people, buildings, decorations), is there a different inventory list I can look at? I actually didn’t even know we could do the icon arrangement until I googled your question. Thanks for your help!
Few things… DON’T got to the individual icon sections. Instead as soon as you open your Cardboard Inventory Storage Box… right in the middle of the screen you’ll immediately see items in the pop up screen. Could be buildings, Decorations, or even characters. That’s the area you want to scroll though. That’s like a “catch all” for items right in that center. As soon as you tap on an individual item icon (like characters) you’ll no longer be in that “catch all” section.
My daily task is casino: Aquire a courtesy chip. What are courtesy chips? Did I miss something? Thanks.

Moe has a job: 16hrs Work at Gaming Moe’s….its not highlighted and at the top of his job list…my question is, is this another secret job to get donuts like the valentines update had? or a glitch……thanks
