Are you feeling lucky? It’s time to roll the dice cause mama needs a new pair of shoes…as the new Casino update hits our TSTO games!
The update arrived yesterday afternoon and, as with all events, a new questline has lanched to help move us through the ins and outs of the event…and unlock all of the prizes. As was mentioned on the rundown post Act 1 of this event runs until March 7th…when Act 2 will start.
Remember, the questline is there to guide you. So when you get stuck on something, or haven’t unlocked something, just follow along with the questline and it’ll take you through everything you need to do to complete the first Act and unlock everything you need in order to play properly (ie neighbor actions, gamblers to tap, crafting etc). Just look for the Gold Token Icon 
in your task bar. Any tasks you see associated with that icon are related to the event. So, if you’re stuck…keep going until you no longer see that token.
So let’s take a look at the questline to see just what you need to do to build your own mini Vegas in your pocket-sized Springfield…

Make Adults Get a Free Drink- x4. 6s, Earns $35,1xp freemium and $50, 2xp premium.
Completing this starts the unlock process for the event. This will show you the prize track and new items in the store.

Complete a Casino Daily Challenge- There are Casino themed Daily Challenges that’ll appear in your Daily Challenge Box. Once you see/complete one of those that’ll clear this task. For my challenge I had to send a character to the Casino. It paid coaster crafting currency. Don’t worry about this too much. It won’t hinder your progress if it takes a bit to complete.

Marge starts
Make Marge Worry About the Casino- 12hrs, Earns $420, 100xp

how to I start “the old man and the ‘sino part 4”? I’ve done everything before that including part 3 and building the club card kiosk thing but there’s nothing in my task bar about the event and I don’t know how I can get to part 4 so I can get gaming moes 🙁
You’ll need Mr. Burns free. Try storing and replacing the cooling towers. If that doesn’t work, contact EA
hi I’m on level 9 at the moment and I can’t seem to get anymore chips and stuff I only got 100 chips is there something missing or is there no point playing the casino with very few characters because I don’t know what to do I got homer and cletis and krusty and the two drunk girls from las Vegas so please help me what do I need to do to get more chips and stuff
Keep playing the main questline of TSTO. As you unlock more you’ll progress more.

Yup, but only 90 actions/day. So 30 towns if you’re doing 3 gamblers in each town.

I had the same issue. Marge went to worry, #9, an update happened, the no more. Marge is now available but I never received the task completion. I stored Moe’s, nothing.
I did part 7 by sending homer abroad but don’t get any tasks anymore, Am I missing something? Please help!

About the object count: is there a way to tell how many objects we have? Other than try to count them manually?
Unfortunately, not. (unless you nuke your town and count everything in storage.)
Has anyone noticed the restriction on the crafting? I can’t craft any items that upgrades the card. Like the sidewalk stars state first 8 give 50 points for the card. I only have 4 and it won’t let me craft more. This stinks.

is there any reason to keep sending moe on his 16h “work at gaming moe’s” job? it keeps showing at the top of his jobs list like it’s important (though so does narobics on marge and miss hoover STILL), and i just “left thumb, right thumb” through all my characters so fast that i end up sending him away for 16 hours before i realize i’ve done it again. if there’s no reason for it, i’d rather have him make him more money at 4-hour intervals.

I’m quite frustrated. I have played up to level 59, carefully constructed and embellished “my” Springfield just to hit the “limitation of items” for the game notice. I do not want to reconstruct, reduce or otherwise be constrained in playing the game (after having spent quite some money on it).
Is there a way to extend the limitation? If not I will not be able to continue expanding and completing the game.

It’ll be up today…
It did not take long for me to complete the Main Act 1 Quest Lines (and this Tapper didn’t even put effort into it), so thank you to EA for listening to what players are saying (keep it simple, make it fun) and thank you TSTO Addicts for another thorough post 🙂

I don’t get why people keep asking about their chip count adding up when in previous events, there have been two counts (total and personal prize) as well
People forget or they are new.
I bought the new strip of land to build The Strip in Las Vegas style.
It would be fun of we could blowup the casino (and build a new one)
I crafted the ficus plant but now every time I hover over it, it crashes my game. Any ideas?
Sounds like just a basic glitch. Try an uninstall and reinstall. As long as you have an EA/Origin account
Something that bothers me about this game s that it isn’t always clear when a quest line is done. It just ends without any notice.

Helps you move up to the next level in crafting. You should see a little fill in at the top of the crafting page where it says level 1 to level 2
what does the level up in crafting do. Do start level 2 crafting prises faster ?

i accidentally spent 40 coasters to upgrade tier.. while i don’t mind getting to the next level faster, is it even worthwhile at this point? is there even any way (other than the random daily challenge job) to get the other crafting currency like martinis and show tickets before acts 2 and 3?
i feel like i just wasted 40 coasters…. oh well.
i guess i’ll have to do it eventually, so i shouldn’t say wasted.
btw i love what you did with your monorail stop along the strip! i think i’ll be doing something similar as well, just gotta get my object count down some more. i was hoping they would up the max object count, what with all the new stuff (and the new strip of land) we’re getting in this event. but alas, it still maxes out at 8500.

Glad you like it. I think I’m going to add another one at the other end of the “strip” once i buy that land up. I have all the parts in my inventory, mine as well lol
I’m still playing around with it..but I believe they’ll start to show once you unlock the next levels. I just need a good hour to spend in my game grabbing screenshots and playing around with it.
I think that we will have to upgrade levels at some point or another. So there doesn’t seem to be any reason not to upgrade now. You have to upgrade to levels 2 and 3 to unlock to ability to earn tickets and Martini glasses. The only reason why I wouldn’t upgrade now is in case a future casino daily challenge is to upgrade a level. There’s also the Players club thing. There are benefits to earning those prizes. The only thing that might hold me back from upgrading or spending currency now is the daily casino challenges. For instance- today my challenge was to earn 5 courtesy chips (which I did). The prize for this challenge was 15 or 20 coins (I can’t remember which). Nice. I now have 25 courtesy chips- which I could use to get more casino chips, but I’m holding off in case a future challenge is to spend courtesy chips. Do you see where I’m going with this? The game usually “tells” you what to do and when during these events. You just have to be patient and follow along.
of course we have to upgrade levels at some point, but my question was whether it was worthwhile yet or not. as alissa already replied that the other crafting currency starts to appear once you unlock the next levels (and not the next acts), my intention is to continue upgrading until i unlock level 3, in order to craft the prizes i want most first (safari casino and spruce moose).

I think I need to abandon the railyard, at least this week. All my projects require metal, every single one, which would be annoying enough even if I wasn’t down to two metal-makers! I haven’t even made it to three tracks yet! I’ll miss the donuts, but not enough to put up with the headache lol
There is 10days left in the event and I am about 1/2 to unlocking Milhouse. I feel like I am behind in tokens. Other than tapping gamblers and sending the characters to the casino is there something else I should be doing?

It’s coming. I ask that you please be patient. I’m 1 person. I’ve got a life, a real job, a 3 month old and a broken wrist. I’m doing the best I can trying to get to everyone’s questions/concerns/post wishes. I can only do so much. So please just be patient. The world isn’t going to end if you don’t get the information this second. You can still play the game. If you’re worried just store your crafting materials and don’t do anything with them yet.
I’m working on it and expect it to be up tomorrow. Until then, please be patient… thanks 🙂

I got a question for you…what are “courtesy chips”? My daily challenge this morning was the first one for the casino event and it is asking me to collect 5 times. But I can’t find anything that mentions it.

I have 17k in poker chips and in the act progress bar it only shows me having 10.5 k in chips,any ideas as to why.

I think getting your crafting to level 2 and 3 is a little outrageous. By the time you upgrade you won’t have any materials left to craft lol.
Does anyone knows the benefit of premium characters? Usually they gained 50% more resources than normal characters, but so far the Texan guy gives the same as the normal character
Every character Earns the same amount of chips whether premium or freemium
The benefit is that you have more characters to send.
Is Cletus’ dice game and Homer’s house of cards supposed to be available yet? And how do I get tickets and martini glass crafting currency? Am I getting ahead of myself or is my game messed up because I can’t get any of this stuff. Thanks in advance.
