So…here is your Open Thread…the Monorail came back as a permanent addition to our games last week. What are your thoughts on it’s return?

How was your weekend? Do anything fun and exciting? I spent yesterday in Virginia visiting my newest niece, Bailey Rain! Can you believe tomorrow is the first day of August? The summer is nearly over, and it feels like it just began!

I had stopped playing the game before the monorail came along. When I came back, it was interesting seeing in other towns, but after hearing about the work to create it, I was glad I didn’t have to worry about it. Now it’s back, so I get to see what everyone was talking about. I have no idea how I’m going to work it into my town, but it is kind of cool, I guess. I’ll have to pay attention to my few friends who actually have monorails to start getting some ideas. Why did you do this to me, EA?! Lol.
I like my monorail setup and how I have my 3 stations built but I took out a few pieces of track to disable my monorail during Superheroes 2 to speed gameplay and reduce lag. To be honest I’m not jump super fast to reconnect it and start the train going around again.
I think it would be cool if items were sorted into categories of some sort to make them that little bit easier to find (the family guy game sorts them by the event they came from). Adding a couple more rows out to sea would be cool too. Great poem Safi!
They are…did you expand the store menu to see the category icons? They’re not organized by event, but they do have some categories.
(I don’t think I’d like things to be categorized by event…there are some items I wouldn’t necessarily think to associate with the event they came from, especially if it was an event from before I started playing!)
I just wish that I could categorize the stuff in have in storage better…sometimes I’ll go buy something inexpensive from the store, even though I’m pretty sure I have one in storage, because it’s faster to find it in the store than it is to find it in my inventory.
Finished money mountain during the event. Just manged to finally hit 5 Stars for the first time ever. Working thru part 9 of the redwood.
My cats been sick, was really worried about her. Seems to be doing better though.
Work sucks.

I completed the Redwood recently (what an expensive tree it turned out to be!)
And most importantly, I hope your cat is still okay, and hope she is feeling completely better soon.

or maybe i just enjoy the challenge of designing appropriate areas to place those unique buildings, i dunno. the ugliest building in the game to me is the re-neducation center, and i’ve got that tucked away nicely in my inventory.
I agree- the Knowledgium is one of my favorite buildings (glad there’s a task that uses it now, so I can animate it sometimes). The Reneducation Center is in my inventory, too….the only place it could ever possibly fit it, scale-wise, would be Springfield Heights, but land its way too precious there to even consider placing it.
The soilant building is the ugliest building in the game now, especially because you can’t rotate it. I missed that event and would love the ReNeducation centre after seeing it in neighbours towns.

well new neighborino, we obviously got differing design ideas. while i agree it would be nice if it were rotatable, i think the soilant red factory looks pretty cool/unique/realistic as it is, and more than fits the bill as a coastal factory or desalination plant. only place i think the reneducation center would look appropriate is in krustyland, as a drop tower dark ride type of attraction.
I tucked mine into the bottom right corner near the Vegas stuff. My biggest issue with the building is how tall it is blocking other stuff. Definitely one of my least favorite.
The closest I’ve come to that is sticking billionaire haven up next to the mountain, because there wasn’t really any place in town where it made sense. But I’m not fond of wasting prime land on stuff and I’m really not fond of having ugly stuff in my town, especially if it’s something that didn’t really fit in anywhere thematically. Maybe if I had gotten it back when I first got Burns’ mansion, I could have worked it in there (but, at that point in the game, I was still scrounging for cash for days just to buy one patch of land, so I couldn’t have done, or placed, the mountain anyway).
i like where i’ve placed mine as well…. but i purposely haven’t upgraded all the way yet. i actually prefer the look of the second to last level, with the gate and sign around it that reads “Still a Baby, Needs Protection”. i guess without an incentive to do so, i’ll keep it that way.
I wish the redwood has changeable facades like the other items 😊😊😊😊😊
Yeah I agree, I just don’t see the benefit on wasting money on the tree, moment mountain or IRS lol
The money mountain is worth investing the money into because the end reward is a skin for Mr. Burns that is a triple premium character. It give 3x the normal payout for tasks.
Yeah, but you can only use that skin if you keep the ugly mountain in your town. Much as I really wanted that particular skin, the trade-off just isn’t worth it to me.

Yep. Normal character payout for a 60m task is $70. The Mr. Burns money mountain skin pays $210 for the same 60m.
At first I feared it was the end. After.some research, I am pretty certain she was anemic due to a nasty flea infestation. We’ve been battling the fleas and she appears to be doing better. Fingers crossed.
Yeah that tree is insane. Probably not worth it, but I am bored.

Tho it was expensive, I was happy when I finally finished it, It actually does look nice (I like the look of it in my town, and Lisa is also rewarded with a ‘Tree Hugger outfit’)

Hi-I had a question about FRINKS LAB. In the store inventory, it has a byline “helps with Heights.” Can anyone tell me how the lab helps with Springfield Heights?
It helps in the sense that the Lab comes with Prof Frink; and he can be sent to the Springfield Institute of Technology to earn 2 tablets every 5 minutes, double what can be earned by Apu, Milhouse, Mayor Quimby, Ralph, and Willie.
Frink has a job at the tech institute to make smartphones.
Pretty sure Frink is the premium character for crafting stuff at one of the buildings, possibly at the S.H.I.T….. can’t remember for certain.

Does the building come with Professor Frink too? He has a task at the Springfield Heights Institute of Technology.
The lab doesn’t help with Heights; Frink does. He has a 5 minute task at the Institute of Technology to earn cell phones/electronic devices.
Frink can collect resources at the Institute of Technology.
He helps by doing his part to help collect resources at the ‘institute of technology’ building. Which go towards buying the Springfield Heights decorations (to help build up real estate points)

Hello neighbors. Now that we’re in non-event “downtime”, for what feels like the first time in ages, I’m seeing a lot of your names pop up in the handshakes around my town. Most likely, you have not seen mine in yours. I’m sorry to say but friend visits, outside of events, aren’t going to be any sort of regular occurrence. They take too long, drain the battery too much, and the benefits (cash, XP, or the occasional donut) don’t outweigh the negatives. If there is an event where visits are beneficial, I will definitely do my part to help out but, if you’re looking for a more active neighbor, I’ll understand. No hard feelings if you decide to drop me.

I figured you must have seen that comment. 😉 Before I knew about training walls I added some neighbors from the non-vandalize thread, and I guess most of the rest just don’t do it to err on the side of caution. I do get a few vandals every now and then but it’s not too often. I know some people get upset over being vandalized, but I don’t. It’s just part of the game! 😀

I’m always scared to vandalize anyone cause sometimes people get butthurt about it, so I like knowing I can tag David and Sandra and they won’t get their feelings hurt. 😁
I get that some people don’t like it, but I’ve never understood just how angry it makes some people. It’s on the show, it’s in the game, it’s no big deal. But that’s just my thoughts on it. 🙂
i don’t really care about it, but to be honest i’ve never really been a fan of it, and i think it’s just because of what it represents in real life. i’ve never enjoyed seeing the local neighborhood tagged up with graffiti, and my town is my virtual neighborhood. treat it with respect yo! 😉

I grew up watching Mister Rogers, and I’m certainly happy to have the neighbors that I do. I always welcome neighbors from the site…as long as they have lowered expectations. 🙃🙂

There wasn’t an option to reply to the latest comment. But, I’m pretty sure I remember when there would be a mop above the graffiti and we clicked it in a neighbours town.
And then when we went to our towns it would show the mop and the person who helped clean it.

When I started playing you could clear graffiti in neighbors’ towns. Whether it did them any good, I do not know.

I pseudo-nuked and stored a lot of trees, fences, and some small decos in preparation for a town redesign. But everything is on hold until the 16th. At least that’s what I’m telling myself lol. 😀
With the ‘off by one’ if you move the monorail station over a little bit to the left (like the copy and paste) option, is there any chance the track would meet up? Or if you use small track pieces instead of the longer ones.. I’m sure you have tried everything already, but I thought I would suggest it just in case… 🚝 🐱

I love fresh raw tomato. Sometimes I just eat a slice on its own. I dislike less fresh tomatoes. It can get bad quickly.
I used to feel “guilty” and I still sorta do, but I’m much more okay with it now. Part of the reason is that a thumbs up for your neighbor is nice but it doesn’t add any extra income or anything to their town. Only graffiti, which is why I’m happy to hear people say it’s fine, because that’s the only neighbor action that actual does much of anything for my neighbor. (Oh, and time resets on buildings, but that’s an iffy thing since you don’t know how long its been since that building was ready to collect.)
The time to feel bad is simply when it matters, like during some events where neighbor visits help your neighbor.

But you do get (a little) extra income from handshakes, and I thought we had determined it was the same amount that clearing graffiti paid.
I do agree about the timer reset not meaning much. For one, it doesn’t seem like it always is reset. Or let’s say one of my 8hr buildings is tapped and the timer is reset to 4 hours. Now I need to come back and tap it in 4 hours for it to mean anything, and even then it might not mean any extra income because the next time it’s due will be the middle of the night (just an example).
It seems like a long time since there’s been an event that visits helped out your neighbors. Wild West you could drop prospectors but tapping things didn’t matter. The fire department mini event you could set fire to their houses, which helped out. Was that the last time?

To all my neighbors out there, I’m sorry I am not going to visiting you everyday. With having a just turned 2 year old in my home full time now, I just don’t have the time, I will try to get to as many as I can everyday but I know it won’t by all of them. This child refuses to stay indoors, and she won’t allow anyone to have any phone, tablet, or any device on while I’m with her. She demands a persons full attention while their with her.
So sorry I’m not going to be a full-time, daily player anymore.

I totally understand that situation.
I have been playing on and out pretty much from the very beginning but, to be honest, the most appealing thing to me has always been the events, especially the “main ones” like Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas… San Valentin and or San Patricks Day wasn’t that great so, sometimes I even stop playing for a while, that was the main reason I totally missed the Monorail last summer, when I find out on my neighbors’ towns I can’t stop wishing that EA bring it back… and now that they did it, i’m so glad!! 👏
And yeah, I’m pretty much enjoying all the events (big and small) from this year, it keeps the game really interesting, at least for me, but definitely, we need: more land expansion, more ocean expansion and some love for Krustyland!!

Hi all. I’ve missed everyone the last few weeks on the threads, but as summer hit, and I was already tapping like mad on Superheroes, I just needed a bit of a break. We were off last week, so it was great when the event ended, and I actually didn’t tap once yesterday, after my railroad was done for the week. We had a wonderful staycation. We went to a movie, mini-golfing, lunch in a beautiful backyard garden at a local pub, a gorgeous hike in the Gatineau Hills, where we discovered the beautiful “hidden” ruins of an old mill that’s set in with a gorgeous waterfall. We had a beach day, a “relax” day, and went to this awesome place called Parc Omega, which is basically a drive through zoo set into the existing natural land – the only “enclosures” are a few strategically placed fences, and some feeding stations help lure the local wildlife of the area – you can feed deer and elk, see moose, timber, arctic, and black wolves, wild boars, foxes (red and Arctic), coyotes, black bears, buffalo, musk oxes, and more. There are several places you can get out and picnic or do walking trails, and lots of places where you can simply walk among the deer and pet them and feed them. It was awesome. Then we took the ferry home, instead of crossing one of the bridges, which the kids enjoyed immensely. Last night, we went to my nephew’s birthday party, and today we’re chillaxing by the pool. My honey goes back to work next week (but not until Tuesday – it’s along weekend here!), and I still have another week with the kids. Another beach day is already in the plans. Housework was done only to the bare minimum, and that’s okay with me!
I hope everyone else is having a great summer. I’m eager for the next event, but wouldn’t mind if it doesn’t hit for another week, or if it’s just a mini one. I’m so-so on the new bit with monorail. I am glad we can send it to SH, but it does seem another expansion is in the offing, and since I only just recently finally hit billionaire status, I am truly sick of that place for the time being. Still, I actually do love all the glitzy buildings and decoration, so….mixed feelings. I’m also happy and kind of sad that the bracket voting is narrowing down – only 4 choices to make this week…..it’s been so fun. I can’t see anything stopping BGM on his way to the win, and I’m good with that, but I do think this showed us that there are lots of other loved characters who need to be inroduced to this game, stat! Good morning, who went to the Festival of Light last night. Very tired this morning, we only got back around 2 o clock. We even had our whole family there, me (the oldest), my sister (2nd oldest), my two younger brothers and my parents. We got there 5 hours early so we had lots of fun. Back to TSTO just getting back from vacation on the 13th, so I was a little freaked out. Also I was wondering if the tunnels was 25,000 blueprints if it is than I’m good to get it. Blew up my town and totally redesigned it but couldn’t find enough space for the craftable Zenith buildings so they’re randomly thrown around my town 😁. Hoping to get Stampy soon since I just put daily actions off unless I was battling felons. Whoops.

I recently finished the redwood mini-game, so next up was Burns’ money mountain. I got to level 10 and somehow ended up gaining 500,000 in cash, was this a glitch?
So I redid some of my Springfield heights area and I stored my level 5 exclusive resorts and when I brought them out of storage they went all the way down to level one again. Just wondering if this happened to anyone else and what they did to fix it. Thanks!
I had a similar glitch ages ago that affected just one Exclusive Resort (I tried it again with a second, but to no avail), and used it to really help me get to $2 billion Real Estate Value.
Woah, I just realized that I may not have bought all the Exclusive Resorts….. So, maybe I’m not actually done with SH. Well, I’ll save that for SH3…. Yeah, that’s what I intended all along. (Just forgot.)

Has anyone else lost the Felon packs they purchased? I stored orphan alley to do a little bit of cleanup and when I set it back out five minutes later all of my felons disappeared. They are available for purchase in the store again but I’m not repurchasing. Any thoughts? Thanks!

I know you weren’t asking me but my wife bought it this morning. I don’t know if I can read it as it’s as it’s a script for a play. Ughh. I may give it ago though. I told my wife and daughter when the last book ended that it would pick up again with the next generation of potters and weasleys.
Let us know what you think of it. I did not buy it, because I knew it was a screenplay, and I really have no interest in that. I might want to see it – but not read it.

Next week is something, but not a major event, i.e. not Tap Ball/Olympics. Maybe a minor Olympics event. As for my guess…. I really don’t know. I’ve never predicted the theme to the events going on, just when they’re going to happen. No way did I know there was going to be a sequel to an event. So the sky finger’s the limit!
I’m really quite excited for the 16th of August. I don’t think there will be a new event per se, but maybe an extension / expansion / whatever to gameplay.
I’d like to see more land and Krustyland added to the far end of Springfield Heights.
I’d also like to see the Heights reach across the full length of the map.
It would be nice to have another column/ row or two of ocean front and a quicker and easier way of getting more boardwalk than the submarine if you’ve maxed out / remove the max tile limit.
A few more columns and rows overall to main Springfield would be nice too, to allow for more detailed plans around core Springfield buildings and / or to allow for more / most building to be out at the same time.
For those who think this will be a magic fix to slow load times etc, I’d say this will likely worsen, as it would be down to your device primarily for not being able to load the content quickly and efficiently. My iPad Pro loads everything infinitely better than my Samsung J5, for example, but it’s still pretty damn effective when wifi coverage is solid.
Who knows, we may have to wait until after the 5 weeks of monorails (two weeks of tunnels and three of stations) before any other update comes along.
Either way I’m enjoying some down time and doing a little more fine tuning to my Springfield as I go.
A ton of cash has finally bought my last square of land. It is sooooo expensive. Another row will take me 2 months to pay off. I snagged some Zenith housing to boose revenue. Trying to lay them out like high density housing rather than a house farm which would be ugly. More Heights land would be really good. Running monorail through it almost eats it all there. Hard to make sprawling mansions that ought to be there.
On vacation most of July but thanks to my sister’s WiFi I got everything Superheroes. Now I switched carriers and ran out of data already. So can’t play. Better get this fixed before the next, whatever.

No – but then I also can’t believe its been four years since my (adopted) hometown hosted the Olympics, and they return on Saturday (time differences mean that the Opening Ceremony starts at midnight London time).

I think Rio will blow London 2012’s opening ceremony out the window, I imagine a real carnival of colour that will captivate the world. Unless the dreadful economic downturn means little money is available for the ceremony, which would be understandable. I think London could have done much better with the budget Danny Boyle was handed personally. I enjoyed parts of the ceremony but other bits not so much. But I had a great time down in London, never known such a relaxed and friendly atmosphere there. Londoners really entered into the spirit of the games.
It wasn’t the most expensive. It wasn’t the most glitzy. It wasn’t even the most coordinated at times. But it was the most bonkers British. Loved it. If Rio tops a parachuting monarch I’ll be surprised.
Was it a real monarch? I didn’t even know London had had the Olympics…
It was James bond that came down righ ? Skyfall movie was around that period.
It was bonkers British, so much so most the world didn’t have a clue what was going on…… Hey I didn’t have a clue at times…..
But sadly the it’s the, got to be bigger, got to better attitude that is making the Olympics a terrible financial drain on some of the host countries, it’s time to rein things back or only a few rich nations will be able to afford to hold it soon.
I think Rio will put on an amazing opening spectacle without spending anywhere near the £27 million we did, I think the total spend for the 4 opening and closing ceremonies was £80 million. Scary.
Really? I’m Brazilian and I have very low expectations on the opening ceremony (to say the least). We’ll see on Friday.
I’m normally not one to look forward to a break in the game but I’m really enjoying this one. It’s giving me time to really focus on Springfield Heights. Like it or not seems like there will be an update for SH coming. I just got all of the land and I’m close to $700 million in real estate. Next up reconfiguring my monorail to incorporate the tunnel.
Looking forward to the next event ( Olympics fingers crossed). Hopefully it starts and ends with the opening and closing ceremonies. I would rather have a week break then an event dragging on too long.
Don’t forget to stock up on your monorail craftables since the new week is starting soon.

I saw the 27th DC Universe Animated Original Movie “Batman: The Killing Joke”. Technically DC counts it as the 26th, even though they released “Batman: The Dark Knight Returns” in two separate parts. The Killing Joke instantly entered my Top 5 DCUAOM. I have all 27 on my hard drive and will definitely be watching this one over and over.
I want to wish all my fellow Canucks a Happy Civic Day long weekend tomorrow (or whatever the equivalent holiday title is in your province or territory).

Today is July 31st. Exactly three years ago today I was gifted my iPad from my former former employer. And the very first app I downloaded that day was Tapped Out. Today marks the three year anniversary of my Springfield!!!
While many other games have come and gone, I have played Tapped Out religiously. The only other games I still play are DC Injustice Gods Among Us (since Aug 2013), Ellen’s Heads Up when I have friends over (since Feb 2014), Daily Celebrity Crossword (since Oct 2015), and recently started TinyCo Marvel Avengers Academy (since Mar 2016). But nothing comes close to my passion and obsession for Tapped Out.
I’ve had a lot of great memories:
– Adding my first neighbour (my sister on Jul 31 2013),
– playing my first event (THOH XXIV in Oct 2013),
– finding TSTO Addicts while searching for more neighbours (first week of Oct 2013),
– the only days I’ve ever not played, a two week stretch for my sisters destination wedding (last two weeks of Oct 2013),
– winning the Valentine’s Day contest (https://tstoaddicts.com/2014/02/14/everyone-wins-with-vd-poem-results/ in Feb 2014),
– the first time I was quoted in a post, when Bunny copied and posted my comment that was the first to spill the beans that you can now get donuts from visiting neighbours (https://tstoaddicts.com/2014/03/14/theres-donuts-in-them-there-friend-points/ in Mar 2014)
– my first contribution [just screen shots, but Bunny still mentioned me] to a post (https://tstoaddicts.com/2014/04/17/confirmed-free-donuts-and-corn-crops-oh-myyyyy/ in Apr 2014),
– winning another contest prize, The Simpsons mini-Lego figurine (https://tstoaddicts.com/2014/05/19/lego-contest-minifig-winners/ in May 2014),
– purchasing my first premium item (Canadian Flag in Jun 2015),
– converting all the iTunes gift cards I got for my birthday into a Boatload of donuts and then buying a bunch of premium characters during the Black Friday sale (starting with Sideshow Mel in Nov 2015),
– completing and getting one of the Brackets I’d long been working on approved by Alissa, Bunny, and Wookie to get posted onto my favourite website (https://tstoaddicts.com/2016/06/10/addicts-bracket-challenge-most-desired-character-week-1/ starting Jun 2016),
– completing Springfield Heights by hitting $2 billion Real Estate Value and having levelled up all items to level 5 (Jul 2016)
But the two greatest memories of all are definitely (1) playing the game, and (2) all the wonderful people I’ve met on this site.
For making my three years unforgettable, I would like to say how much I appreciate my three Addicts, all my neighbours (past and present), and everyone who has posted a comment on this site or liked one that I have posted. Knowing full well how my comments are foreign to the concept of being concise and are typically of novel proportion, I want to thank you for taking the time to read them. (I guess EA reads them too, seeing as how two weeks ago I suggested a Monorail Sequel in my Sunday update, and behold 9 days later, a Monorail Sequel is released.)
With the end of levels upon us, I think in my spare time, I will try to continue my Valentine’s Day poem from where I left off in Feb 2014.

July 31st I downloaded an app,
Simpsons Tapped Out, what is this crap?
I clicked on the icon on my new iPad,
Saw Homer playing Little Elves on his MyPad.
And so it began with my first tap,
The addiction of this young charming chap.
I placed the Simpsons house in level one,
And then Bart told me that was done.
On to level two, I placed the Kwik-e-Mart,
Clearly for the game I thought don’t have to be that smart.
Yet still I found the game quite interesting and fun,
Just as I do watching any old Simpsons rerun.
Lisa and Apu joined Homer to start level three,
and asked me to be green and plant a shrub and tree.
Soon the Flanders house brought about Ned,
So many characters started messing with my head.
Why so many people play, I could finally see,
An addict of the game, they started to make in me.
Curiosity wondered what’s next to place down,
Turns out it was a house of the colour brown.
In mere moments I was done with level four,
Couldn’t wait to keep going and complete more.
I eagerly awaited the arrival of Krusty the Clown,
The man who could turn my frown upside down.
As level five began, Apu raised the alarm,
He needed food, and asked me to build a farm.
And so came into my game a yokel named Cletus,
Whose intelligence rivaled that of an unborn fetus.
Yet I still can’t help but love his charm,
Even though I have more intelligence in my forearm.
And thus my tutorial came to an end,
I was on my own, not even a friend.
Each passing level brought characters strict and silly,
In the shape of Krusty, Millhouse, Skinner and Willie.
Tap on characters, to task I would send,
Gaining XP and leveling up was the trend.
Addicted I was, stop playing I can’t,
Not when Level 11 came with the Power Plant.
Mr Burns arrival affected my heart,
but not nearly as much as the arrival of Bart.
With the treehouse built, I yelled out an exuberant chant,
I was as excited as Jasper with a new penile implant.
While Skinner was busy looking at birds,
Next level brought about the king of the nerds.
Martin had arrived followed by Comic Book Guy,
Stop playing I couldn’t, no matter how hard I try.
My addiction I couldn’t even put into words,
I was a shepherd, these characters my herds.
Speaking of shepherd, guess who was next,
None other than Lovejoy, he of the Text.
Not being Christian, what followed I didn’t fear,
When next came Marge and Moe, carrying Duff beer.
If beer wasn’t bad enough, time to gamble checks,
Along came Springfield Downs, beer, gambling, what next, sex?
It seemed EA was starting to lead people astray,
Much to my parents and grandparents dismay.
It was time for justice in the form of a copper,
Unfortunately Wiggum was more interested in a whopper.
Luigi was next, a walking Italian cliché,
But man does he know how to make a mean soufflé.
With Wiggum busy eating burgers and cake,
He needed a villain, a villain named Snake.
Addicted I was, that real life was a hassle,
My priority was building the Retirement Castle.
While Wiggum dealt with Snake’s jailbreak,
I lay in bed, playing addicted and awake.
The following levels brought Quimby and Nelson Muntz,
But how I wished for the deceased Lionel Hutz,
With so many kids, they needed a teacher,
So came Krabappel, and a new in-game feature.
EA had an update, awaited for months,
This was a doozy, one of their best stunts.
The ability to search characters, make them easy to find,
This new feature simply blew my mind.
Keeping track of so many characters made me insane,
Making sure I didn’t miss anyone became my bane.
I could now click in the top left and get out of a bind,
I felt I was no longer playing this addicting game blind.
Curious to see if I was the only hardcore fan,
I searched for TSTO and guess what my eyes scan.
TSTO Addicts a website I found,
How much joy ensued, in happiness you could drown.
Excited I was to find my common man,
Who had written each level walkthrough and detailed a plan.
Armed with this tool, everything looked sunny,
Helping me were Alissa, a Wookie, and even a Bunny.
Levels flew by, characters would unlock,
Also began growing my seafront and dock.
With each task I collected more money,
How addicted I was, friends thought it was funny.
Brockman, Hibbert, Smithers, Ralph, Lenny and Carl,
With each new character I smirked and let out a snarl.
Fat Tony, Legs and Louie made up my mob,
Kumiko was brought in tied to “Married with the Blob”.
Agnes made Principal Skinner panic and ensnarl,
While I needed more task for my Norwegian named Carl.
The military antique shop brought about Herman,
but was a mention of war without a German.
So next came Wolfcastle who shouted Austrian not German am I,
A parody of Arnold Schwarzenegger if I don’t lie.
Who was next it was time to determine,
but wouldn’t be revealed til after Lovejoy’s sermon.
After the sermon, the religious boys arrived late,
Rod and Todd at Miniputt, but of course no date.
Lou and Eddie arrived and trained at the wall,
Followed by Chalmers who walked the school hall.
Each new character came with its own personality trait,
Some that I love, but some that I hate.
Guess who arrived next, much to Homer’s chagrin,
It was a woman named Patty and Selma her twin.
Nerds and hags outnumbers bullies and bimbo,
So along came Dolph, but without Kearney or Jimbo.
Donuts are scarce, being a freemium player is sometimes a sin,
Can’t get cool stuff, and don’t ask about my luck on the Christmas wheel spin.
But no matter how bad, I know I’m luckier than Kirk,
Who struggled next level to find some work.
My luck has changed from when I began,
For Christmas brought Mr Costington and Yes Man.
Finally level thirty eight, I let out a smirk,
Take that Homer, you big fat jerk.
Armed with TSTO addicts, I have all the info I need,
I check everyday for a good article to read.
Walkthroughs and captions, where did that come from,
Character guides, and how to’s, just to mention some.
TSTO Addict writers, I thank them for their great deed,
Keep running this website forever, I plead I plead I plead!
What future levels bring, only time will tell,
Will it be Cat Lady, Manjula, or even Sideshow Mel.
To tell us what’s next, EA can’t be coerced,
But I know TSTO Addicts will tell us first.
Because these guys are cool, awesome and swell,
I wish them the best and I wish them well.
