The Sci-Fi Event hit our games this past week, and holy smokes Stephen Hawking is in Springfield! What are your initial thoughts on the event?
Well after 11 weeks we finally have our Bracket Challenge Winner! What are your thoughts on the winning character? Think EA will listen to the will of the Addicts and add any of the characters?
Don’t forget about the contest! We’ve been dropping words in posts for the last week…have you collected them all? Submission for will be up early this week.

It seems to me that I never get credit for tapping/killing as many invading robots as I count when I tap. . Just wondering if that is common…..
Why not just turn on the PolyVac every 4hrs and kill them all at once? then you don’t have to worry about tapping them…

I have a question about the main quest line. It said that I would get crystals but at the end of the quest it gave me money. Did I also get crystals and I didn’t catch it or is this a bug?
End of which questline? The quest complete popup? That didn’t award dark matter this time around…
I know some people hate them but I like my hacker neighbors, it’s fun to see what people can do with limitless resources. I guess it’s kinda like wanting to see how billionaires live.
Hah I would never play a hacked game to get limitless resources, land, donuts and whatnot, but I’d definitely accept becoming a billionaire without having to work at all for it…

I can’t wait until tomorrow to get my second monorail tunnel. I’ve had my track laid completely around SH and Springfield proper for a week now. I had to adjust my track at the far reaches, but now I can just place the tunnel and I’ll have a continuous loop. I hope we can get additional stations sometime in the future (or a future station from this event?) Three stations aren’t enough for the size of Springfield and SH together.
About Bart in the robot: It must be a glitch. Remember when some people got Longshot Skinner before he was released, just for tasks. I know for a fact that two of my friends are not hackers but I’ve sen the task in their towns when I visit. One friend is a coworker, the other is my wife. Be careful throwing around that hacker label.

while it’s possible it’s a hacker, it may just be a visual glitch of sorts… i saw it roaming in my brother’s town the other night, and i know he doesn’t hack.

Last winter was really warm here actually. It was in the 80s Christmas day.
I have to say our winter has been mild too. 70s and 80s (low to mid 20s for everyone using Celsius).
The robots wandering round town look like Tweekie from Buck Rogers! meenie meenie meenie!!

I’ve been lurking this site (and tstofriends!) since the beginning. I want to thank everybody for their hard work over the years. And I can’t tell you how pleased I am that Patric has mended fences with the Addicts. Great to see you all back together!
I just thought I would give a shout out to all of my fellow Canadians and all The Tragically Hip fans on this site. Such a roller coaster of emotions last night watching them play their final show! 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
i love the tragically hip. i’m not canadian, but i did get to see them back in ’07 at a club in houston and they were AMAZING. like, seriously, probably the best band i have ever seen live.
I have never been to one of their concerts, something I definitely regret now. I didn’t even realize how many songs of theirs I love until this weekend.
Awww, that’s sad. I think im lucky because i know theyre HUGE in Canada and i don’t think you guys get to see them in such small places like i did. It was also super cool to be surrounded by hockey jerseys in texas when youre not even at a hockey game. There are a lot of displaced Canadians in Houston!

Absolutely. Heartbreaking and wonderful, all at the same time. I will never forget being 19 years old with a bunch of friends in a way too small car, driving up the highway along the Ottawa River for an overnight whitewater rafting trip. The Fully Completely album was cranked, the sun was shining, and we didn’t have a care in the world. Any song off that album will forever take me instantly right back to that feeling.
I bought Frank Grimes during this event, but didn’t get to do his quest, he just showed up right away. Will I get to do it later?
Most likely. I think it’s just on hold right now so you can immediately use Frank for the event.
Hey Everybody happy Sunday. Wanted to let all my great friends in here know I haven’t forgotten or abandoned anyone. It has been a rough week last Sunday morning my roommate and dear friend passed away very quickly and I’m still trying to come to terms and help my girlfriend put affairs in order and comfort her. At least his last day was happy we had just finished coffee outside when he decided to take a quick swim before him and my husband went to get his brand new car. He had a massive heart attack as soon as he hit the pool and was gone in 5 minutes. I’m living here as he had a terminal illness and his wife is a very good friend so we knew he was leaving us soon just not that soon and in that manner. All considering he was so sick and isn’t suffering anymore.
I would not have posted this but got a little slack from a few friends from disappearing when I’m suffering, looking at you MAB😉
A long week later and the house, animals and people that live here are getting a much needed break. Both of us my friend and I are back to playing and trying to muddle through life.
Life changes in one minute, give your loved ones an extra hug and be so grateful we have today and even this silly lil game to escape to and most importantly in this game we have an awesome community of very special people to help us not only with this crazy game but the crazier game we call life. Thank you for reading and being there for me.

Thanks Sandra it means so much that you took the time to write. Been a really tough week. My body not taking this well literally no food or drink since last Friday, stomach won’t tolerate it, not helping the back pain much either and now that I moved no doc grrrrrrrr. Sorry for sounding so down. It’s amazing how life can go from bad to great and thinking finally some rest and maybe a tiny bit of happiness and you get knocked down even harder than before.
Might even have to give my doggies up and everyone knows they are my life. Looking for a home for them now, just took a break to escape here.
Hang in there! Hope you can keep your doggies….there must be a way…

I just got the atomic hoola hoops (if that’s how it’s spelled) and it is being built right now, I can’t wait to see what it looks like. Thus is also an event I wanted so much, I wanted adult Lisa and Bart also I like science and futuristic stuff, this was a perfect event that I really wanted

Not too much you can do prior to contacting them in this case. But i would wait until tomorrow (monday) after 9am ET. Better chance of getting a US based phone rep
Make sure to check your main inventory that is not categorized. That is the main list when you open your inventory box.
Nothing, I went through ever category and even the plain inventory. Toy Store is missing, rain deer food truck, missionary,jail, general store combo gone, more but I can’t remember all that I have lost.

I’ve read before that there’s a limit as to how many items can show up in your inventory. Before contacting EA, I’ll advise placing some (maybe a lot) of your inventory items in your Springfield that *maybe* your missing items might appear.
Anyone else want EA to change the menus back to that when you scroll through it stays at the same point as where you got an ite,? Eg if you opened decoration and went along to the 75th item and place an item , it would remain near nuber 75 instead of going all the way back. It annoys me sooooo much. I cant be the only one that this annoys
You’re not alone. So frustrating now that my inventory is so full!
Especially annoying when you nuke your town and all the decorations you need are next to each other but right at the end. Arghhhhhh… I hope EA changes it back

This is the biggest frustration I have while trying to rebuild my town.
The perfect fix would be if they changed the menus to the old system, maybe add a search inventory button and maybe allow us to make folders and manually add items to each folder. Like maybe we could make a Wild West folder, a Casino folder etc
I just crafted and built the Dome-icile on Saturday and sent the “character” on his task there today ( Sunday ) and the animation to it is a pretty awesome and worth it just to watch and for me this is one of the best building animations in the game.
The reason why I say character and not say what it does is because I don’t want to spoil everything about it to anyone who hasn’t crafted it yet. I would rather surprise the tappers by not telling them about it and get them to see it for themselves. 😃
My wise guy went to mine to check the plumbing. Pretty cool that he can light it up as well as the bad dream house. Now I’m spoilt for choice☺️…..💜X
You can light both of them up as Herman permanently uses the dome-icile and you can send the wise guy at the bad dream house. I might craft another and try placing them next to each other or place them next to the skyberdine systems so that SS is inbetween 2 dome-icile. I will also try to send both WG & H to their own one. 😄

Sorry if this has been asked already. Is there somewhere where we actually spend the “future bucks”? I have over 2000 and they are just accumulating. Matter gets the scifi prizes and robot parts build the stuff in the 3D printer but what use are the future bucks?

Would I be correct in saying that there looks like an opportunity to change future bucks with the last crafting item ( level 19 ) ?
It looks like it’s the other way round – you pay robot parts to get future bucks. I guess it’s because once you’ve built the last demo, there’s nothing otherwise to use the robot parts for.
Fair enough, I’ll use up my future bucks as I progress through the event,no real point in saving them.
Alright so I need some advice. I’m only going to be able to afford one on the three, so which should I buy?
1. Springfield Hyperstadium/Rockstar Maggie
2. Professor Frink/Frink’s Lab/LadyBot
3. Soul Extraction Institute/RoboBurns/Doggy Smithers

yeah both 1 and 3 are/will be limited time, frink will always be available in the store. as for the ladybot, there might be another option to get it, we’ll have to see. anyway, food for thought.

Frink is the most useful in actual gameplay but i LOVE the soul extraction place. and its very nicely priced for what it comes with.
Yeah, and unless you really want the Ladybot, you can get Frink down the road.
Rockstar Maggie? LadyBot? i don’t have any of these option to buy in my springfield! I purchased #3 and really enjoy it, but since i didn’t get option’s #1 or #2 I am feeling a bit left out…

What’s up to the Wookie!!!! I read a post where someone asked if they should use robot parts to level up or level up by crafting items. The advice given not by the Addicts Team but by another site surfer like the rest of us was to not to bother leveling up with robot parts just keep crafting and level up that way–the party in question said thank you. I wanted to tell that person and anyone else who cares that leveling up by crafting costs twice as many donuts to rush so that advice doesn’t apply to those who can afford to rush. If you can don’t spend donuts on crafting items, spend them on the level up in the right top corner to save donuts. I don’t want to confuse anyone so if you don’t spend donuts rushing your progress, just disregard what I’ve said just keep crafting.
Spending donuts to rush tasks is SUCH a waste tho. Who still does that? I feel like only a newbie would do that until they realize how hard donuts are to come by (ie. me, when I first started playing the game).
Rushing for donuts is just a moneygrab by EA imo.
How does one turn off the notifications on this game once and for all? I think the developers are having a little fun with this, just been sitting in a meeting and homer simpson suddenly starts shouting “Hey! you!, stop doing stuff and come play with me!” from my pocket.
Needless to say it was funny.
I know the app resets notifications each update, however i’m now finding it resets notifications whenever it wants to now…. grrrr!
Well, since it was voted best premium building by TSTO Addicts 2 years in a row, I decided to get Duff Stadium. Plus the “Drink Future Duff” billboard prize we just received goes along nicely with it.

Enjoying the event so far and the prizes with it was surprised to see that I’m still slightly ahead of the calendar after not playing for most of yesterday as me and my mum went into London and watched the awesomeness of Harry Potter and the cursed and loved every minute of it but can’t say much about it because #keepthesecrets.
How closely does it follow the rehearsal edition script??? Anything that’s been added or changed??? #KeepTheSecrets
It follows the scripts pretty much identically however the book really doesn’t do the show justice for how good it actually is seeing the events physically unfold in front of you.
