After a month + the Sci-Fi Event is finally winding down. Act 3 ends Tuesday morning. How are you doing with the Act 3 prizes? Unlocked them all? Ready for what’s next?
Speaking of the Sci-Fi Event…what are you planning on doing with your event items? Remember we’ve got our Showoff planned for the Sci-Fi Event, so don’t forget to show us your designs!
How was your weekend? Do anything fun and exciting? Not a ton going on here in Jersey this weekend. Just enjoying a quiet weekend at home 🙂

I find Orphan Alley large and ugly. Any good reason to,prevent me from storing it?
Evil Homer is available in the drop menu at the Town Hall, listed as Available. But when I go,to him, all he does is giggle when I tap. Evil, pure evil.
AND, with all the other Homers gone back into,the Black Hole, it is difficult to generate robot parts to Generate donuts.

Long ago gave up on the idea of “flow ”
(Houses to day care to elementary school to high school to college)
Instead, “sections”
(Factories, old town, down town, farmers market and food stands, agriculture, ski chalets and resorts)

I wrapped Orphan Alley with barbed wire and then built a slums area around it with any buildings or decos that look shady, run down, or lower income-ish (egg nog bar, spooky sheds, adult education annex, graffiti walls, busted up cars, took Spiffany’s jewelry shop put a chalk outline in front of it and wrapped the entire scene with the yellow/black barriers). The penitentiary would also fit it.

I incorporated mine into a movie studio area. Now it looks my villains are fighting on a movie set that is being filmed 🙂
Like all the ideas that have been said once i get to my slum/superville area, will need to have a rethink. I like how someone can start of a conversation that brings new idea’s to the table!

I’m very disappointed with the crafting in this event. I can’t seem to produce enough robot parts in act 3 to craft anything…
Meanwhile I have over 20,000 future bucks that I can’t use because I haven’t crafted enough!
I wish there was a way to convert future bucks into robot parts.
I too am disgusted with the crafting during Act 3! I have not had an issue with crafting everything I wanted for years – yet I am now struggling to get Homer’s Dream House. I am collecting robot parts as much as possible yet it appears that I will run short – possibly requiring the expenditure of donuts… I feel like I have been set up by EA. The PolyVac does not return as many parts since the addition of Mecha Hawk in the battles… And Future Bucks… I too have over 20,000 of the low value game currency that I cannot use for anything remotely interesting… Very disappointing.

A THOUGHT ( OR A HOPE ) ON THE UPCOMING HALLOWEEN EVENT:
Evil Homer will find a way to use the Poly Vac to travel BACK in time to bring back all the terrifing prizes from all the THOH events of the past. They basically left the Sci-Fi event unresolved with Evil Homer scheming the whole time and sneaking off at the end. I think i started playing sometime before the second THOH event so I didnt have enough characters or buildings ( $, xp ) to really take advantage. I hope the kids get to trick or treat again. Donuts were flowing out of those ttick or treat bags. Id like to get kodos’ crashed ship too. Witch Marge is awesome too. I usually had her in her clash of clans costume until tennis marge became a “premium” skin.
Anywho… Honestly, im not really excited about being in events till January, but thus is the life of a tapper. Aaaaw work! I thought this was supposed to be a game!!!

Anyone else struggling to craft the future Simpsons house? Less than 2 days to get 1800 robot parts. I feel like I’m going to be cutting it pretty close!
It will be close, if you have been following the Act 3 quest line. You lose the alternate Homers’ quests for event currency. It will help doing neighbor visits, especially if you get a few anomalies. I wish you luck.
Keep plugging away at the event. Turn off auto update and you might get up to 48 hours more for the event, but remember it is borrowed time and could go at any moment.
Oops, I meant Homers Dream House. I think I’ll make it- if I keep tapping steadily tomorrow. It’s certainly more difficult with the questline winding down. :/
Alissa, is Rock Star Maggie coming back for purchase before the 3rd act finishes?

What happens to antimatter wen the event is over??
in the previous event, a lotta people complained about act 3 being too long, with many even ready for the event to have been over at the start of it. now that we have an event with an abbreviated third act, everyone is complaining about it being too short/underwhelming. personally, i like this shortened act 3, seems like an appropriate way to wind down the event… in preparation for the next!
No matter what they do, someone will find some reason to complain
I like the length, but I would have happily traded one or two of the prizes from this act for the other, different, cars they’re showing on the splash screen!
while i would’ve paid donuts for those other flying/hovering cars, and i’m no fan of npcs (sorry broody!), i’m good with the prizes. especially after all the stuff we got in the previous two acts, as well as the crafting.
but yeah, c’mon ea! don’t show us that cool stuff on the splash screen if you have no intention of giving it to us!
I am addicted to One Piece. In the past 2 weeks I’ve watched about 140 episodes. Each episode takes 20 minutes. I’m way to addicted :c
The two Manga I read to completion were Dragonball and Gantz. There is a one piece movie currently in the theatre.

They got paid, lol. It was done by Vox, which is a news website but I have found several of their YouTube videos to be very interesting. They also did the one I shared about Teddy Roosevelt when he came into our game for example.

I love TR. Theodore Rex is one of my favorite books of all time. On a given day, he had more injury in his pinky toe than I do in my entire body, and I envy him for that. And he did a lot of tremendous things to vault the United States into the 20th century and make it the first world powerhouse it is today. But I don’t care what generation he killed those animals in, nor do I buy his “conservationist/ educatuonal” justification for doing so. The kill list merely serves as an indictment and a stark reminder of Homo sapiens insatiable capacity to destroy countless large mammal species over the past million years… “just because we can.” It was bloodlust, plain and simple. That’s definitely one kind of research that would be fun to get paid for doing! (Or maybe he farmed it out to a Wookiee-like person, who would have a real leg up, with all of his encyclopedic knowledge of the show…)
Is there a way to send all your characters on the same quest when available with a simple button. Sometimes TSTO will ask you to send for example 5 children to do the same quest but allow you to send all children. I am tired of having to select each character individually. I like to watch all the characters leave 1 building/area at the same time when completed.

Glad I got the last prize this weekend. This week is going to be a little crazy. Dentist appointments for both my boys Tuesday. Wednesday morning my husband will be having his gallbladder removed. Wednesday evening my oldest son will be seeing a psychologist to try and help him learn to eat something other than pb & honey and perhaps determine if he’s a high functioning autistic, has sensory processing disorder, or perhaps just anxiety when it comes to food. I’m sure it will take a few visits before any kind of diagnosis is made, but it’s a start.
I’m looking forward to the Halloween event and farming KEMs for donuts in the meantime.

I mostly use it for storing superfluous buildings, buildings with hidden XP, and superfluous XP carrying decor, however I do have a small section that is decorated.

Does anyone know how to get Evil Homer? He’s the only character I’m missing in the Interdimensional Travellers set.
Just complete your Act 3 quest. The con of it is that the alternate homers will return to their universe and no longer helps in your event.
You’ll get him when you finish the whole questline. (I haven’t gotten there yet myself, but that’s what I’ve read here, like in the Turbo Tapping post. Also, he’s just an NPC, in case you haven’t heard that already.)

Yeah, it’s weird. Maybe they are testing to see what effect the forums have on games, to see how much other’s input and influence affects their bottom line? Maybe they are tired of people talking about things like donut farming?
I was hoping to get the Homers undersea house, but it can’t be placed on squid port tiles or on the beach in SH, so I passed. Wish EA had thought ahead…placing this item out in the water would seem a no-brainier.

Sorry…she was offered as a Gil’s Deal back in Act 1. You’ll have to wait to see if EA releases her again sometime in the future….she’s not available now.

Thank you to all of you who sent me encouragements for my first colonoscopy. They removed 4 adenomas, one of reasonable size, but fortunately not yet malignant. I am still recovering and not yet 100%. Probably from the anaesthethic as I could not have normal sedation. I am glad it’s all over now! Yeepeee! It is worth checking for anyone over 50 and with a family history of colo-rectal cancer.
Have, all of you, a great week. We are still waiting for spring here in Australia. Who ever is keeping the heat and sun, please send it our way, it’s our turn to be warm! 👍🌞🌞🌞🌞

GUTTED that now I’ve reached the last level, the future bucks conversion pack is NOT bucks to robot parts -, have thousands of bucks that I don’t need (c.18k, spent a lot already), but a number of items that still require parts to buy them, and now that the Homers aren’t earning any more I’m not going to get to buy much if anything more.
I really want President Lisa, but don’t know if I can spend 265 doughnuts for her. It helps that she’s a separate character, but that’s still too much.
I think I’ll pass and cross my fingers they re-release her during the election period… She’ll definitely be cheaper than 265!
Maybe you can become friends with ‘Ol Gil’ and he might do a special Gil Deal and include President Lisa. 🙂

this year I’m going as a day of the dead woman. I’ve got a Spanish style black dress that flares at the bottom and a mask that I’m going to add additional flowers to & do body paint. My little one had two costumes last year: penguin & crab. I really want to find him a monkey custome this week so he can be his favorite character Oliver from Baby TV. What are you and/or your family members planning to be for Halloween?
Expect a lul before any more events. I would not be surprised to see a Springfield heights addition. I doubt there will be any mini events before Halloween, but there could be a Gil deal. I wouldn’t expect the Halloween event to kick off for another month.
Agreed. There is about 2 weeks between now and when a Halloween event would normally start but I don’t expect anything. It seems like they have been pushing a heights addition for some time now. Working to get to 1 billion today so I’ll be ready.
My guess is a season 28 premier mini-event or questline next week and then Halloween.

Non-TSTO comment:
Flew to Chicago right after work on Friday for a Friday evening dinner and Saturday meeting. I was scheduled to fly back at 7:30pm but got to the airport at 5pm and got the only standby spot on the 6:15pm flight just before they closed the doors. There were 5 other people who put their name on standby after me and all 6 of us were standing by the counter as the plane was boarding. But I was the lucky one!
TSTO comment:
I missed tapping yesterday while at the meeting in Chicago (poor wifi connection ). I should hopefully unlock the last prize tapping tonight or possibly tomorrow.
Also looking forward to my Addicts tee I’ve ordered arriving north of the border middle of next month.
Been underwhelmed with this third act. I’m guessing its shorter to allow time to breathe before the Halloween Event. I wont be able to get all the crafting prizes in time, but that’s ok with me.
It would have been nice to have had more of the future Simpsons characters (Ralph, Rod and Todd, Blind Ned etc). In fact, I would rather that had been more of a focus rather than this robot themed event, which felt very out of place.
I do hope that with Hawking coming in, we will see more celebrities in the future.
Am I the only person in this game that has Springfield Heights used as a storage area?
I did so I would have all characters out after nuking my town. Only temporarily though.
A lot of my neighbours have Heights as a themed area(Wild West,Casino etc) but yes an awful lot use it as a dumping ground/holding area
I use it for storage also…was told my SH buildings would bring in extra XP bonus percentages if placed, but that appears to no longer be true. I put them in real storage (to make room for other stuff), no change to bonus %, then took them out and placed them…again no change in bonus percentages. Maybe the % is only applies when they are first placed?…before they are stored? Anyway…all my SH stuff is in storage and I use the space to hold high bonus % items and other items that don’t fit in my town. May move my downsized Future Springfield over there to make room for Halloween goodies.
It’s a *hidden* XP-only multiplier…it didn’t show up on your Conform-o-Meter percentage, because that percentage affects both XP and cash.
You can test it out by, say, waiting until you have two white houses ready for collection. Note how much XP you have, then collect one white house without any Springfield Heights buildings out, then note how much XP you have to see how much you earned. Then, place one or more Springfield Heights buildings (the original ones, like the office buildings, garages, and mansions) and collect from another white building and note how much XP you have. You’ll seed that the before-and-after difference is MUCH higher with the Springfield Heights buildings out, than when they’re stored.
It brings in a high multiplier you just can’t see it

I’ve dumped all my SH buildings up there for the time being. Helps me to level up buildings easily and earns an XP boost. My conform-o-Meter is saying I’ve got a 60% boost, but the XP is coming closer to 300%
