Hey guys how’s it all going? So I was wondering if they’ll be October fest this year? And also can anyone help me stitch together pictures for the show off?
Hope everyones having an amazing day.
If you post your screenshots over on the Addicts Flickr, I’d be happy to stitch them. 🙂
Thank you so much that would be amazing … Let me do that now
Hey … I can’t find the account. Is it addicts flicker?
You do have to have your own free Flickr account. Upload your photos and then add to the TSTOAddicts group. I usually just click on the link on this page over on the right.
https://www.flickr.com/groups/tstoaddicts/
Thank you for being such an amazingly nice person 🙂 I’m really useless at this stuff
Would it be easier if we became neighbors? I could take the screenshots and stitch them. My ID is EllieGuseman and I go by the same on Flickr. 🙂
If you seriously don’t mind doing this, I would love for you to capture and stitch my Future World….it’s in the northwest corner of my regular Springfield (i.e., near to the mountains as far away from the sea as my town goes).
But please don’t feel obligated….I know it’s a lot of work to do that!
The whole town is work. Event areas are not bad. I’m gonna go look right now. 🙂
You are *awesome*!
My future world isn’t that big, but the buildings are so tall, that it takes more screens to capture it all. 😛
Let me know your ID so I can friend the right person. I have 2 requests now and I don’t know if either are you. 🙂
Hey SHMZDN329,
I use the absolute basics when stitching…
I spend a good half an’ hour or so with my Android Phone pressing the power and home button simultaneously (power button kinda first…).
This screen captures, but I make sure TSTO has gone to “screen saver” mode, omitting all extraneous menus and displaying the “background” Springtania.
It saves these “images” on your ‘droid under a Picture \Screenshot folder.
I copy all of these, they’ll be saved with the date and time in their file name, to my PC, in Microsoft-Windows-World.
I then load up MS Paint.
Yup, just the basics.
I change the properties of the displayed “blank-picture” to be 10000×10000 pixels, and then save itas my preferred name for the complete image.
I then in Windows open the folder with the saved screenshots transferred from my phone, and open an image around about the centre of my final completed “image” in a different MS Paint window, “Select All”, Ctrl C (copy), Alt-Tab (flick Windows back to the “blank-picture “, and then in around the middle of the space I Ctrl V (Paste). And then start to repeat this process with the remaining images, zooming in and out as needed to ensure pixel alignment.
Once done, I “Select All” again, “Crop”, which removes the outside, then resave.
What’s the purpose behind using two Paint windows? Why the extra step there, rather than opening the new images directly into your work-in-progress Paint window?
I liked working with PowerPoint to do the stitching, because I could group photos once they’re properly placed and not worry about accidentally moving one that I’d already paced the way I wanted it (relative to others).
I use the second Paint window as a kind of preview panel, just in case I need to “cut out” some stuff before reselecting and pasting into the “main” or complete image. I only “cut out” stuff, usually tall buildings, when I prefer to show what’s “behind them”… Fair question though 🙂
There are many better utilities for producing stiched images, I’ve always tried to utilise what has been provided with Windows OS, mainly because any other product may require purchasing, or registering to download. MS Paint is certainly not the easiest, but it assumes the reader has no other product available bar what is provided for in their OS. I use GIMP for most other image editting…
okay, WOW, i just saw the home of famous architect Charles Sieger, and I am going to design Monty Burns Manor after his home now.
http://www.sheldonsfans.com/images/copy/uploads/actus/thumb/62fc8ada680ab7314a26cef19055abf49d5b2d86.jpg
😮 Wow! That is a beauty!
the more i look at it, the more i realize TSTO has equivalent items for ALL of these different parts lol.
I love it!
But if it’s raining you will get somewhat wet when getting from the car to the house cos it’s quite a way to go!
😄
It looks to me like the garage is *under* the house (see the open space in the middle of the front of the main building?)…my guess is you can get to it from inside the house.
Now that’s a mansion! Seriously stunning.
I was so disappointed in act One. I completely missed Rock Star Maggie. I mean that I didn’t even know she had been available. I know that I missed Sgt Skinner and I’ve made peace with that but still grumpy about Maggie.
Maggie was a Gil Deal, so you were probably victim to a glitch. It wasn’t part of the prize track or the regular store items for the event.
I am looking at character list and wondering how to get the robot and drone from sci fi event
I had the irs drone but guessing that might be different
I just need them two characters to have every thing free and premium to complete this even
Thanks in advance
Shaun
They’ll probably be offered as premium items after the event ends, like the fighters for the Orphan Alley and the Bob Clones from the Terwilliger event.
I unlocked everything from the event. Act 3 was done in 3 days. 👍😁
I’ll be glad when this event ends. Not because I don’t like it, but I’ve started having really bizarre sci-fi dreams lately, and I totally blame this event 🙂
Ha! Yea I’ve been delving into some complex thoughts. Stephen Hawking is a deep smart guy. I’m studying at the University of Google since this event started. 😁
I like how they let me use Grimey right away to help with the event, then he disappeared and I got to do the original quest line.
Yes! I was happily surprised by this!
I have all the prizes but I’m missing the Homer’s dream house craftable. I figure I’ll get it tomorrow.
I don’t think I can unlock it in time… 🙁
Complaints hardly come more minor than this, but here goes: I sure wish Stonecutter Jasper had a two-hour task. That lack messes up my carefully crafted symmetry. (An Employment Office ability to start two-hours tasks would help as well.) Okay, wimpy rant over.
I, too, would like to be able to use the unemployment office to send characters on 2-hour tasks, if they have them, and 10-hour tasks, too! Actually, I think all of the options of one hour or more should be there, even if it means that not every character will be able to use that option!
Agreed!
By the way, I think I meant to say 4 hour task, not 2.
do the venus signs need to be out for the bonus or is in storage ok
There’s no bonus % with them.
Unless you’re talking about the 100xp. If you’re referring to that, you need to place them in order to get credit for the XP. Once you’ve placed them you can store them. But you won’t get the XP if you don’t place them after crafting.
Thats what I ment to say thanks Alissa
No problem 🙂
This lovely story about 9-11 was posted on Facebook recently. Thought it might be nice to share with you all.
From a flight attendant on Delta Flight 15, written following 9-11:
On the morning of Tuesday, September 11, we were about 5 hours out of Frankfurt, flying over the North Atlantic.
All of a sudden the curtains parted and I was told to go to the cockpit, immediately, to see the captain.
As soon as I got there I noticed that the crew had that “All Business” look on their faces. The captain handed me a printed message. It was from Delta’s main office in Atlanta and simply read, “All airways over the Continental United States are closed to commercial air traffic. Land ASAP at the nearest airport. Advise your destination.”
No one said a word about what this could mean. We knew it was a serious situation and we needed to find terra firma quickly. The captain determined that the nearest airport was 400 miles behind us in Gander, Newfoundland.
He requested approval for a route change from the Canadian traffic controller and approval was granted immediately — no questions asked. We found out later, of course, why there was no hesitation in approving our request.
While the flight crew prepared the airplane for landing, another message arrived from Atlanta telling us about some terrorist activity in the New York area. A few minutes later word came in about the hijackings.
We decided to LIE to the passengers while we were still in the air. We told them the plane had a simple instrument problem and that we needed to land at the nearest airport in Gander, Newfoundland, to have it checked out.
We promised to give more information after landing in Gander. There was much grumbling among the passengers, but that’s nothing new! Forty minutes later, we landed in Gander. Local time at Gander was 12:30 PM …. that’s 11:00 AM EST.
There were already about 20 other airplanes on the ground from all over the world that had taken this detour on their way to the US.
After we parked on the ramp, the captain made the following announcement: “Ladies and gentlemen, you must be wondering if all these airplanes around us have the same instrument problem as we have. The reality is that we are here for another reason.”
Then he went on to explain the little bit we knew about the situation in the US. There were loud gasps and stares of disbelief. The captain informed passengers that Ground control in Gander told us to stay put.
The Canadian Government was in charge of our situation and no one was allowed to get off the aircraft. No one on the ground was allowed to come near any of the air crafts. Only airport police would come around periodically, look us over and go on to the next airplane.
In the next hour or so more planes landed and Gander ended up with 53 airplanes from all over the world, 27 of which were US commercial jets.
Meanwhile, bits of news started to come in over the aircraft radio and for the first time we learned that airplanes were flown into the World Trade Center in New York and into the Pentagon in DC.
People were trying to use their cell phones, but were unable to connect due to a different cell system in Canada . Some did get through, but were only able to get to the Canadian operator who would tell them that the lines to the U.S. were either blocked or jammed.
Sometime in the evening the news filtered to us that the World Trade Center buildings had collapsed and that a fourth hijacking had resulted in a crash. By now the passengers were emotionally and physically exhausted, not to mention frightened, but everyone stayed amazingly calm.
We had only to look out the window at the 52 other stranded aircraft to realize that we were not the only ones in this predicament.
We had been told earlier that they would be allowing people off the planes one plane at a time. At 6 PM, Gander airport told us that our turn to deplane would be 11 am the next morning.
Passengers were not happy, but they simply resigned themselves to this news without much noise and started to prepare themselves to spend the night on the airplane.
Gander had promised us medical attention, if needed, water, and lavatory servicing.
And they were true to their word.
Fortunately we had no medical situations to worry about. We did have a young lady who was 33 weeks into her pregnancy. We took REALLY good care of her. The night passed without incident despite the uncomfortable sleeping arrangements.
About 10:30 on the morning of the 12th a convoy of school buses showed up. We got off the plane and were taken to the terminal where we went through Immigration and Customs and then had to register with the Red Cross.
After that we (the crew) were separated from the passengers and were taken in vans to a small hotel.
We had no idea where our passengers were going. We learned from the Red Cross that the town of Gander has a population of 10,400 people and they had about 10,500 passengers to take care of from all the airplanes that were forced into Gander!
We were told to just relax at the hotel and we would be contacted when the US airports opened again, but not to expect that call for a while.
We found out the total scope of the terror back home only after getting to our hotel and turning on the TV, 24 hours after it all started.
Meanwhile, we had lots of time on our hands and found that the people of Gander were extremely friendly. They started calling us the “plane people.” We enjoyed their hospitality, explored the town of Gander and ended up having a pretty good time.
Two days later, we got that call and were taken back to the Gander airport. Back on the plane, we were reunited with the passengers and found out what they had been doing for the past two days.
What we found out was incredible…..
Gander and all the surrounding communities (within about a 75 Kilometer radius) had closed all high schools, meeting halls, lodges, and any other large gathering places. They converted all these facilities to mass lodging areas for all the stranded travelers.
Some had cots set up, some had mats with sleeping bags and pillows set up.
ALL the high school students were required to volunteer their time to take care of the “guests.”
Our 218 passengers ended up in a town called Lewisporte, about 45 kilometers from Gander where they were put up in a high school. If any women wanted to be in a women-only facility, that was arranged.
Families were kept together. All the elderly passengers were taken to private homes.
Remember that young pregnant lady? She was put up in a private home right across the street from a 24-hour Urgent Care facility. There was a dentist on call and both male and female nurses remained with the crowd for the duration.
Phone calls and e-mails to the U.S. and around the world were available to everyone once a day.
During the day, passengers were offered “Excursion” trips.
Some people went on boat cruises of the lakes and harbors. Some went for hikes in the local forests.
Local bakeries stayed open to make fresh bread for the guests.
Food was prepared by all the residents and brought to the schools. People were driven to restaurants of their choice and offered wonderful meals. Everyone was given tokens for local laundry mats to wash their clothes, since luggage was still on the aircraft.
In other words, every single need was met for those stranded travelers.
Passengers were crying while telling us these stories. Finally, when they were told that U.S. airports had reopened, they were delivered to the airport right on time and without a single passenger missing or late. The local Red Cross had all the information about the whereabouts of each and every passenger and knew which plane they needed to be on and when all the planes were leaving. They coordinated everything beautifully.
It was absolutely incredible.
When passengers came on board, it was like they had been on a cruise. Everyone knew each other by name. They were swapping stories of their stay, impressing each other with who had the better time.
Our flight back to Atlanta looked like a chartered party flight. The crew just stayed out of their way. It was mind-boggling.
Passengers had totally bonded and were calling each other by their first names, exchanging phone numbers, addresses, and email addresses.
And then a very unusual thing happened.
One of our passengers approached me and asked if he could make an announcement over the PA system. We never, ever allow that. But this time was different. I said “of course” and handed him the mike. He picked up the PA and reminded everyone about what they had just gone through in the last few days.
He reminded them of the hospitality they had received at the hands of total strangers.
He continued by saying that he would like to do something in return for the good folks of Lewisporte.
“He said he was going to set up a Trust Fund under the name of DELTA 15 (our flight number). The purpose of the trust fund is to provide college scholarships for the high school students of Lewisporte.
He asked for donations of any amount from his fellow travelers. When the paper with donations got back to us with the amounts, names, phone numbers and addresses, the total was for more than $14,000!
“The gentleman, a MD from Virginia , promised to match the donations and to start the administrative work on the scholarship. He also said that he would forward this proposal to Delta Corporate and ask them to donate as well.
As I write this account, the trust fund is at more than $1.5 million and has assisted 134 students in college education.
“I just wanted to share this story because we need good stories right now. It gives me a little bit of hope to know that some people in a faraway place were kind to some strangers who literally dropped in on them.
It reminds me how much good there is in the world.”
“In spite of all the rotten things we see going on in today’s world this story confirms that there are still a lot of good people in the world and when things get bad, they will come forward.
*This is one of those stories that need to be shared. Please do so…
What a great story! Thank you for sharing. There are more good people than bad as this story proves.
For all of you sweating over getting Homers Dream House, don’t. It really is disappointing. You can’t place it on the water. You can’t place it on even a Squidport tile. You can only place it on land. When it’s occupied, the animation is some poop or something moves through the tube on the side. That’s it. It sucks. I know u want it all but whatever you do , DON’T spend donuts on it!!!. Save them for Halloween or anything you actually want.
Shep482, thx for the heads up. No donuts from me.
Thank you for the advice 🙂
I did want it, but now I won’t spend donuts on it.
I think I mainly wanted it because it is ‘Homers Dream House’ and I thought it would have been able to go in/on the water
‘under the sea, under the sea’
NOW you tell me? Lol!
Most of this stuff…just big and cluttery.
Bring on Halloween!
Thank you!! I have the choice of either Costingtons or trying hard to get Homer’s house.. and I’d be lucky to get it. I’ll just go for Costingtons. Thanks for the head’s up!
It’s not entirely either/or, since the robot parts you use to craft stuff also goes towards upgrading.
I think the people who are struggling now are the ones who didn’t understand that, and spent robot parts to upgrade directly, rather than using them to craft stuff and upgrading that way.
My new iPad wall paper please copy and use if you like it lol
Also as for what kind of tapper am I , I think of myself as a mini TOT if there is such a thing
https://www.flickr.com/gp/143148852@N04/8qjm8Q
Hooray I am done with this SciFi event. I managed to get all the prizes on the prize track for all 3 acts. I also got a least one of all the craft table since using homers elusive dream house. And no I didn’t get the 3000 robot parts. I saved up as many as I could until I so the donut number get down to what I thought was reasonable. I had to spend 17 donuts to get it for my town. But that’s OK by me because I mananaged to also get 9 bonus rounds of donuts in this event.good luck to all of you who are still tapping away. And hey EA I have a present for you. You can take back all these thousands of future bucks I don’t want or need. Evil lol!
Ahhh, almost done, thankfully.
I have just enough robot parts to get Homers house. I don’t really like the design but there is a task related to getting the house. Is there any benefit to completing the task by purchasing the house or can I use the parts to buy costingtons & not lose out on a benefit from task completion?
You get a permanent 10-hour “under the sea” task for Homer after you build the dream house.
Is Evil Homer a NPC? He appears on my census but I cannot assign him a task.
Does anyone else have any ideas?
Npc
I love most of what EA has brought us in recent months(really since last Nov.) but I wasn’t much of a fan of the sc-fi event. All I did was tap robots for a few weeks, didn’t get enough robot parts to craft all items(a first for me) but I’m drowning in future bucks, and the last two prizes for the event are just decorations instead of characters. I enjoyed some of the items but as a whole it was dull. Eagerly awaiting what’s next!
“It’s really more of a Shelbyville idea”

I’m pretty excited for the Halloween event. I’ve never really been able to build a Halloween themed area due to lack of space. But I finally got enough money to open up like 2 rows of space and I’ve been waiting for the Halloween event to place down all my stuff. The time during October, November and December are definitely my favorite time of the year of TSTO. The events during that time are so much fun.
A common question in TSTO is what is the most efficient way to boost the bonus percentage. The most common answer is to buy the jet engine bike, which at 2% for 30 donuts is the most efficient guaranteed return, with .06667% bump per donut spent. However, the mystery box contains two items that add to the bonus: The news van (2%) and the billboard (1%). Other items can increase the conformity rating, but this impact was not included in the review- I focused solely on News Vans and Billboards. I wondered whether these are won often enough to challenge the jet engine bike for the most efficient way to boost the bonus percentage. In order to test this, I saved up donuts (162) and then proceeded to spend them on the mystery box and tracked which prizes I obtained. The available prizes are: News Van, Billboard, Lard Lad, Minnow Pond, _onda, Bomb Shelter, Khav Kalash stand, 10 donuts and 30 donuts.
I have already obtained all of the unique items from the Mystery box (Tire fire, BHL, SVT etc) so they did not play a factor. I received 3 each of 10 donuts and 30 donuts (for an extra 120 donuts, which I used to keep buying more mystery boxes), 4 Lard Lads, 6 of the News Van, Minnow Pond, _onda, Bomb Shelter and Khav Kalash, and 7 Billboards. I purchased a total of 47 mystery boxes. The 6 news vans and 7 billboards yielded an additional 19% to the bonus percentage. Given my investment of 162 donuts, that is a yield of .117% per donut spent, 1.75 times as much as the Jet Engine bike. While the JEB may be the best guaranteed yield, this exercise shows that the Mystery box is the best overall yield, though it is not guaranteed.
I did not include the 120 free donuts I received from the Mystery box in calculating the yield, as they were not donuts I had saved for this experiment. If they are included in calculating the yield, the mystery box would yield .67% per donut, close enough to equal with the JEB. However, I believe that excluding them from the calculation is fair, as they came from the mystery box, not my accumulation of donuts.
Have fun with the data!
Lol!!! From the mouth of a TOT to your ears!
I am worried that I’m not going to get the 3000 machine parts or whatever the name of the currency is for Homer’s Dream Home. Anyone else having trouble getting enough of this currency?
Also does anyone know what level you’re supposed to be before you unlock more of the simpson family face on the mountain? I’m currently level 112 and still haven’t unlocked any besides the Homer which came with it.
Keep plugging away at the event. Turn off auto update and you might get up to 48 hours more for the event, but remember it is borrowed time and could go at any moment.
Lisa unlocks at level 138
Bart at 223
Marge at 419
Maggie at 742
Happy tapping! 🙂
Andrew, yes, I am thinking that I will not get Homer’s Dream house either, in a lot of my towns. I pretty much stopped playing when I got the last prize from act 2, three days before act 3 started. Wasn’t even thinking we would only have a week to get the last crafting prizes. Now, about half of my towns aren’t even producing robots, so the only way I get parts r with the battles and, rarely, the daily challenge. With those I am getting the future bucks, mostly. I keep saying that I don’t care, but then I am thinking, okay, it won’t go away until the update, so maybe I’ll have more time Tuesday. I refuse to use donuts, well maybe, if it is only a couple, even if I don’t really need to get it in every town. Have a doctor’s appt. on Tuesday afternoon. Do I change for the Simpsons and a silly old house? Oh, how I wish I was just a CT and not a TOT++++++++++++++. Life would be so much easier.
https://tstoaddicts.com/2016/05/20/the-end-of-level-updates-and-what-it-all-means/
I am having the same problem too. I have nowhere near enough machine parts for Homer’s Dream House either (or the office towers) which I also wanted 🙁
I really like the Luminescent Flowers, I crafted a few extra. 🙂
And I so far only have Homer as well.
I had a look online and it said the following:
Level 138- Lisa,
Level 223 Bart,
Level 419 Marge and
Level 742 Maggie
First…THANKS TO ALL who weighed in on the “What Kind of Tapper Are You?” thread. It is wonderful to see so many new faces in comments…
But this is about the “Question of the Day” for me… DO I REALLY NEED TO GET IT ALL??
I am falling into the same trap that many of you seem to be…namely, “am I going to beat the odds in the final hours to get Homer’s Future House In Crafting.”
Rather than make it EAsier…EA seems to have all but thumbed their corporate noses at us. We no longer get Robot Parts from neighbors. And, if you have hit the final tasks of the update (and they have trained us to do so), we find that none of the characters earn RPs. So we are left with collecting our average of 80 robots, every 4 hours, and whatever we earn from playing the space wars mini game.
It is currently just past 1:30 PM PDT, and I just did a cycle that yielded 159 RPs.
That puts me 733 short of my overall goal, with 1 day and 18 hours to go.
I will make it…if my math is correct.
But DO I CARE??????? I am supposed to go to a movie with my wife tonight. I was gone most of yesterday on a trip to Portland to see my grandson play football. I missed a few cycles of tapping, and will most likely miss a couple tonight.
With 42 hours before the end of the update…divided by 4 hour cycles…even if I crap out, and only get 100 BP per cycle. I will be fine.
BUT DO I CARE?????
Homer’s Dream House just feels like another one of those “Why Did I Work So Hard to Get THIS???” kind of prizes.
But. I am trained…like a Pavlovian test dog…like most of us…to WANT IT ALL. When do we stop caring?
For me…this last “Act” has been short, and just not worthy of keeping me engaged. The plot is sloppy…we are left with a bunch of clutter…and we are once again forced into a sort of self-induced-tapping-pressure-cooker that we just don’t need in our real lives.
And yet….Here I sit. Doing the math. Being relieved that I will get the damn thing before time runs out. Ergh. Casual Tapper? Maybe by my written standards…
But, when time is running out, and we are freaked out about getting something of no real value…I have to wonder how Obsessed we all really are. In the final hours of an update, aren’t we all just a bit TOT???
Agreed. The only thing I really wanted in this event was Homer’s dream home. I really did like that episode and I don’t like too many “newer” episodes. The fact that I can’t even place it on a squid port tile is really lame to put it kindly. I get that I can’t place it underwater but it could easily have been made to sit in the water. I had to settle for setting it on the smallest island of land I could make for it.
The windows don’t even light up when occupied? I really think EA is phoning it in.
The robot part was slow going but I got the final crafting prize days ago. My problem was defeating the Sci fighter. I was so bad, I kept losing. I almost spent doughnuts to speed up the mini game to make sure I got evil Homer. There isn’t an option to buy him outright if I’m correct. I’d have even spent 200 doughnuts to get him.
Is anyone else concerned for LPNintendo given the forums have been down for days? I hope he’s ok because I know how much he needs them to be active. I’m worried for him and simpfan!
It’s really the other way around. Gio (LPNintendo) drives the forums…and the WIKI. He hacks the system because he can. He isn’t reliant on the forum…the forum was reliant on him.
Who is LPNintendo? Just curious.
he has other tapped out sites he updates….
What happens to our anti matter robot parts and future bucks wen the event is over
They disappear
I’ve got almost 25000 future bucks that I’ve never used. Did everyone else get some use out of them?
Buy Venus billboards. Great source of XP
https://tstoaddicts.com/2016/09/15/sci-fi-xp-farming-what-to-craft-to-increase-your-xp-when-your-done-crafting-what-you-want/
Used my 22k future bucks to buy scifi town houses, since they will generate income going forward. 66 of them is the closest I’ll get to a house farm. They’ll get stored when I need the space, but for now I’ll take the $$ / XP they generate.
Totally fed up with the big diolgue boxes obscuring my building when I tap to see the animations they do, ea do something about this!!!
Does anyone know if it’s possible to lock the Homerlayas and the Players Club Tower on your preferred setting? They keep on returning to level 1 (eg just Homer in the Homerlayas without the rest of the family) without my doing anything to change them.
Have enjoyed the Sci-fi event as usual, lots of new buildings and liked the idea of getting most of them via crafting rather than as Stage 1-3 Prizes. I got all the prizes and have crafted all I want (especially like the luminescent flowers and the town houses). But like most people I expect, I have about a billion future bucks. These were a complete waste of space. When they drop up on the daily task I certainly change it.
Stop playing the Chili mini game
Every time you play the chili tortoise game it resets the Homerlayas, player’s club tower, and Burns’ summer mansion. Long known glitch, no current way to prevent.
It’s a bug that happens whenever you play the chili cauldron game. Hopefully, they’ll finally fix it, at some point.
Wow, thanks, how do you guys figure these things out!
I just tested this and it’s true! I’m going to go away now and think of another really obscure question, confident that someone somewhere will know the answer! Actually I’ve thought of another. Does anyone know what sets off the random bursts of animations on some parts of your Springfield? They seem to last a few minutes then stop. I mean things like building lights flashing and firework boxes going off without tapping. My partner gets these a lot on her Springfield but I only get them rarely and that ain’t fair.
For the most part, those are truly random (although more frequent around Halloween). But the Wise Guy’s 12-hour task will send him into the nearest building and animate it, which is especially fun when it’s a building that’s otherwise rarely animated.
I don’t even have the chili game in my town and lost Lisa and Bart off the Homerlayas when my town caught fire. Now you see ’em, now you don’t!
So…What do Apple-using Addicts think of iOS 10???
I have an “old” phone, the 5S so a lot of iOS 10’s stuff is a bit lost, like the 3D touch stuff. So far it seems OK. I haven’t had any problems although I’m still looking for stuff they hid… Took me a couple of minutes to find where they hid the flashlight feature! Oh, and I don’t like how “pizza” turns into an emoji. I like writing in actual words using the alphabet 🙂
I’m looking forward to the Halloween event.
I’m hoping for a return of Boobarella and maybe the antique ufo? If that’s what it’s called. The alien also.
What I want above all is the stupid turkey for thanksgiving. I have to tap it when I see it in neighbors towns.
Rewatching X men of 2000 with friend who never watched any of the films in the franchise so that I could eventually watch x men apocalypse with her. Maybe two months later.
