The Simpsons are back baby! Season 28 premieres TONIGHT! What will happen in the new episode? Excited that our favorite yellow family is back?
Speaking of the Season 28 premiere…we had a fun episode tie-in launch last week to help kick things off. What are your thoughts on the tie-in so far? Enjoying the prizes?
How was your weekend? Do anything fun and exciting? We’re taking Riley to her first farm for some pumpkin pickin’ and corn maze wandering… 🙂

I haven’t been here in over a week. I only commented in the one COG post (his first post), none more after that. My username is fully lowercase and it has a link to my blog (my wordpress account) and there’s my gravatar, too. If I do have to sneak back in for some reason, it will probably be under a completely new name. That is all. Maybe with the next event I’ll see y’all around.

I know the New Lard Lads by itself is a bit of an eyesore, but to be honest it fits perfectly in my Zenith Future Ville, and with the Newfangled Kwik-E-Mart my ZFV is becoming more a separate Ville after the recent event. I have a Burns Slant Drilling powered Supercollider, residential areas, commercial areas, even Municipal facilities and the only “airport” (be it a private Ziff/Burns joint venture).
I am curious how many billionaire neighbors everyone has.
I have 68 neighbors and 21 billionaires. How about you?
19 out of 99 for me
Out of my 100 neighbors, 71 are billionaires. I’ve recently rocketed up from being in 56th place on my leaderboard to 45th place (I’m at a bit over 1.2B), thanks to the grinding I had to do to upgrade all of my new beach houses. (I had previously stopped grinding once I got Paris, more or less.) I have two neighbors who are at the 2B+ mark, and one more who is very close (1.9+).
This is one leaderboard that I do not even try to get to the top of, and you can see why! 😉
36 of my 78 neighbors are billionaires. None of them have hit two billion yet, but a couple of them are fairly close. I’m ninth on my leaderboard with ~1.35 billion.
38 out of 100 for me…I am holding steady in 14th place.
Not all the time 😉 But at the moment, yes.
I have 95 neighbors (friends) and 51 billionaires, I’m in 40th place.

I, unfortunately, was born and bred in the Western suburbs so I have to go for the DOGGIES!!!!!
I finished the Burns Money Mountain and with the Beach Hideaway I am over the 900,000 mark. So I am in throwing distance of getting rid of all the side quests on my screen.
I also finished my Beach Hideaway area. Usually when I get done with and new area I kind of thing “well I guess that is good enough” but I am really happy with the way it turned out. I only have the 1 beach hideaway so it is probably not as elaborate some other but I still really like it.

Hey hey tappers! It’s been a while since I’ve done a real update here and a lot has happened over the past few weeks for me.
Starting with the simpsons, I really enjoyed last night’s premiere! The couch gag was cute and the story felt very classic to me. Overall, I was impressed and I’m looking forward to the rest of the season. In terms of TSTO, I enjoyed the sci-fi event even though I missed the final prizes of the first two acts. Wasn’t crazy about the prizes, but I did like the craftables and managed a round of bonuts in act 3. Trying not to get my hopes up too high after last year, but I really am looking forward to the halloween event as it and Christmas are my favourite times of year in both the game and real life 🙂
Now some cool real life stuff: I attended fan expo in toronto at the beginning of the month and had a blast! I was really nervous because I hadn’t been out in a big crowd like that for years but I ended up having so much fun. Best of all, I got to take photos with Christopher Lloyd and Stan Lee and get their autographs! Meeting stan was a dream come true for me as a marvel fan and I even got to give him a letter (and almost cried). They were both so nice! I also saw tons of cosplayers, the first being Mr. Sparkle! And of course I did some shopping because I was in nerd heaven 😉 Now I’m back at school again, finishing up grade 12 and starting to look at universities. I’m currently taking biology and writer’s craft and I’m loving it. I’ve made so many friends and feel so welcome despite being a couple years older than my peers. I’m even looking into becoming a tutor because I want other kids to love school the way I do and show them how fun learning can be.
So that’s my little life update! Lots of great stuff even though I’m pretty busy at the moment. Now I’m off to ramble on Patric’s latest post 😉 I hope you all have a great week! May your donuts be sprinkly and your tapping be happy 🍩🍩🍩

That’s great to hear! What grade are you aiming to teach? And I’ve actually been trying to reach you about the friend request for a while, but it appears we’ve been missing each other lol. I would love to be neighbours, but my town is an absolute mess and I don’t get around to visiting much except for during events so I’m not the ideal neighbour most dedicated tappers here are looking for and always want to warn people ahead of time in case that spot would be better filled by someone else. So if that matters to you, then no hard feelings and we could always be neighbours later down the line. But if it doesn’t, then I’d be more than happy to have you as a neighboureeno!
Is EA planning on bringing back friendship levels with prizes for visiting? Spending time visiting seems kind of pointless now for the small amount o
I feel like friendship level/prizes have most likely gone the way of level updates. New content comes in the form of (mini) events and promotions. I’m primarily in it for design and the community, now that I’m back in school, I’m thinking of paring down my own neighbor list so I can focus on visiting the people and towns that inspire and delight me. That’s reward enough for me.
I know this would never happen because it is on a different network, but they could have had a mini-event/questline for Patty & Selma with the new MacGyver show coming out. Have them ramping up to hate it, then watch it, then have a TSTO community vote for whether they love or hate it. Then 1 last task to go with the vote result & have them blog about how much they love/hate it (while smoking cigarettes). Just a thought.

Is it just me or is there really not enough land in SH to accommodate all content with roads? I’ve managed to fit all SH buildings and their associated “upgrades”, leaving the SH earning buildings AND a bit of Monorail action, with only the dollar earning and beachfront stuff scattered throughout “normal” Springfield (like Monteressi School, Polo Field, Country Club, etc). I think I’ve figured out where to put the private islands but the extra five pink and purple monstrosities of design!

I have a quick question about a bug I wonder if anyone else is experiencing. Ever since the last update for the Season Premiere tie-in, almost every time I open the game I’m forced to re-download the whole thing (620 MB). As you might imagine, it’s a PITY. Has anyone else had this happen, and is there a solution? Thanks guys!
That sounds like a space issue. Free up as much space as you can on your device and then reboot. If that doesn’t seem to help,
Make Sure you have an ORIGIN ID and then uninstall/reinstall TSTO. Hope it helps.

General observation:
Since TSTO did that update a few weeks ago when they fazed out the functionality of the older devices….I haven’t noticed my game running any more smoothly. If anything it’s actually been more laggy.
I really, really, really, really want a third row of sea water! I was able to arrange the three other sets of beach house stuff that I got, but I hate how close they are to the land, since I had to put them in my “regular” Springfield and they don’t really mesh well with the aesthetic there. I don’t know why EA has been so stingy with the water.
I just recently shuffled them around, with a few well placed islands to create a sandbar, they fit nicely in front of Squidport…
I know what you mean though, I have two more Private Islands to build and the premium boardwalk and still trying to figure out where to put the wretched things…
The bonus percentage on the private islands were low enough that I just stopped at two (good thing, too, or I never would have been able to build my Springfield Heights beach house complex, which I like better than the one I just build over on the Springfield non-Heights side).
But if EA would give us more water, I might reconsider that…
I agree, even just a half strip would be helpful.
Interesting, I felt like they barley touched on the new Lard Lad. personally, I think that statue is hideous so I might store it! I didn’t get the reference on the chalk board. Help me out!
Hey Kitty, Tommy John Surgery is a surgery that many athletes, baseball players are more common, undergo because of repetitive stress. It is named after the first pitcher to undergo the surgery and he was left-handed, as is Bart. Poor Bart has written on that board for 27 years. He probably should have had that surgery long ago. 🙂
Thanks! I didn’t know the reference either. That’s one of the things I like about the Simpsons: they cover a broad range of stuff. Sometimes you can laugh immediately, other times you don’t get the joke until after multiple viewings and more life experience.

Agreed, I was thinking I wanted Laird Lad but was holding off until the premiere, glad I did, it was such a little blip in the episode, I decided to save my donuts for the THOH event. I don’t have the new LL yet, I’m going to see if I can blend it with the Frank Gehry inspired prison, if not I’ll probably store it too.

Football weather delay.
luckily I’m able to start the post premiere quest line, but my fox channel is only showing a post football game talkshow, I was hoping I would be able to watch the premiere before I go to work at 9, but I highly doubt that is going to happen, due to the talk show already running through the airing of the bobs burgers premiere! :/

Question about the game, I recently got all the friend prizes for visiting neighbors. Had been playing without neighbors for many months before that. When my town crashed when a new event started I found this site & added my EA account & then neighbors. Now that I have the prizes how does visiting neighbor towns benefit me ?

One more day and it’s my sons third birthday, probably the best thing I ever did and the best person I know.
Spring has been super weird here in Australia because our whole town was flooding in for a few days, however it wasn’t as bad as the 2011 floods.
Finally go Bulldogs in the AFL grand final, especially after making it into a grand final after 55 years.
GO DOGGIES!!!! Wouldn’t it be great for them to win. My husband is a diehard Swans supporter (or rather South Melbourne Bloods) but even he would love to see the Doggies win.
An 85 year old friend of my mothers is a lifelong supporter of the Western Bulldogs. She was very emotional when they made it to the Grand Final and I would just love for her to see the Doggies win a Grand Final.

Yep they celebrated the win in a way you knew how much it meant to them. And it would be good to see other teams like the Tigers in the final instead of Sydney or cats. I can’t say Hawks cause that’s who I go for.

I’ll be another to chip in regarding visiting friends towns and having the game crash. It’s been happening for so long for me (at least since the Wild West event) that it’s near on impossible to try and visit friends towns.
With the removal of the Event, it looks like i’m able to visit roughly about 5 friends before a crash occurs however up until this weekend I was unable to visit more than 1 friend before the game would crash – not to mention suck the battery out of my phone! And my device is fairly new, iPhone 6s Plus, with over 20GB worth of free memory. I highly doubt it has anything to do with my device being faulty, because there are multiple users having the same issue.
It might be related to Apple devices, as Android users dont seem to report as many crashes with friends towns.
It’s really annoying because a big part of my enjoyment of the game comes from visiting friends towns and seeing how everyone sets up their towns!!
Plus EA are doing themselves no favor by not resolving the fault because until they do, I wont’/can’t buy any of the Bonus Cards to help with visiting friends towns.
Either way, EA should fix this ongoing crashing issue….. PLEASE!!

Problem I have with constant events is,it puts new baiting front of me which keeps me from ever buying characters I should have.
I know what you mean! I only got Jasper a few months ago and I’ve been playing forever. He’s worth it though, really funny tasks. Extra worth it if you have any of the skins in storage. You won’t regret it!
I noted that in recents events, in order to get all premium items, we need to have a boatload of donuts!

Happy Sunday all. After Colorado winning against Oragon yesterday, and the Broncos winning today I can go back to tapping. I’d like to say to EA that the new buildings for the mini event are nice. Not to big and can fit into my “normal” area of Springfield. So many of the newer additions are so large and so out of place that they go into storage or in the outskirts of town in the unorganized place of my Springfield. Looking forward to the premier tonight.
So I started today with 1049 donuts. I checked in a few minutes ago and I only have 829. I clicked the link to contact EA, but I keep getting an error message.
I’m not sure there’s much they would do anyway. My little sister was playing on my phone, so it’s likely she spent them, I just don’t know on what. It’s a little painful seeing all my hard earned donuts disappear 🙁

If you cannot find any new items that your sister may have spent the donuts on, it is likley she ‘rushed’ some of the jobs that your characters were doing or bought something and stored it..
Well, just figured it out. She bought Miss Springfield. I’m gonna cross my fingers and hope EA will take it back and refund the donuts. If not, I may have to start donut farming to replace them before Black Friday!
I think I lost about 400 plus donuts due to crashed games during harvesting. Could not get connect to EA support chat and wanted me to email them instead. Hence I resigned to my fate.
Looking forward to watching the big game this Sunday. Cardinals at the Cubs for the last regular season head-to-head matchup. Series tied at 9 games apiece. Bragging rights game.
Here’s something we would like, but I am not sure how easy the programming would be for EA.
A feature where we could designate our favorite task for each character then a choice at the Employment office for this. For example, I like to have Mindy sunbath at the beach, but with some many characters I don’t always have the time to go send them on my preferred task.
Hear that! Sometimes I step back from the employment office to scroll through my characters tasks to send them on the ines I have forgotten about. My regular tapping usually just uses the 4 and 8 hour tasks.
Yes, please! I’m a bit compulsive with my task assignments, and they are not all the same length. I would love not having to do them one at a time!
