Full character with, I think, 5 tasks.
Anyone else find they have almost no feral monsters since this act started? No matter what every 4 hours or so when I check there’s only 5-10 in my town. Even if I wait and search or stick next to the tower.
Yeah noticed that myself sending people on a 4 hour Halloween task. Think it was modified in the newest download update since I don’t remember it happening prior.
Heads up about that new “feature” though. Although it is nice to have, it doesn’t warn you that you are taking characters out of their respective costumes if/when needed to do the task. So when you go to put them on a task afterwards, they may be on the normal skin and not the premium costume.
I was having problems with feral monsters appearing at the beginning of act I. If you have a farm they will get trapped between the houses/buildings. I have a section of town that is all minnow ponds, for maxing tree-hugging, that I always find them under. Yep, under the minnow farms. Go figure.
Try going into edit mode and grey out buildings and decorations and search your town. They can be really hard to see but if you catch one moving you can just make them out of the background.

How I find mine is by going into the event FIGHT screen, and use the left / right arrow buttons on the side of the mumster it takes you directly to where the mumster is in your Springfield. If hidden, then as said by frankdtanker, edit mode & grey.

Has anyone else noticed that the “yardstick” for measuring currency en route to prizetrack and MAG rewards seems really off this event? Like, “this map is not to scale” off? When I had 40k in the first act on my way to a 44.5k prize, the yardstick showed that I was 1/2 way there…um, I guess so?
I believe the stick is measuring how far you have to go on that particular step and did not subtract the base value. I have noticed that it will start the stick at zero but have the total value you have. It does make it a little confusing. I just keep looking at the numbers to see what I need rather than the stick.

yes i have a moto4g its a great little phone and i play tapped out on it as well. My main phone is a samsung but I play my second tsto account on my moto4g and have no lag.
Off topic – but if anyone mentioned this new change, I missed it. Now, when you need to send multiple people on a task (i.e. “send 4 Springfielders to check out their options”), if you click “Do it”, it brings up ALL the people who can do it for you to choose from. No more just one person you might not want and having to figure out who else can go and hunt for them one by one. I love it!!

Yes I also noticed this. I had to send felons on a daily challenge yesterday (or perhaps the day before) and was presented with a similar list. It is extremely useful.

I think it’s when you get a daily challenge or similar thing where you need to send multiple players on the same task. Probably a compromise since once all the potential people have that in yellow, you can’t use employment office for them.

It will works for the daily task (in the top right corner) for example the task might say “send celebrities to the Kwik E Mart” when you click on “do it” it brings up a box with all available characters/celebrities who can do this task. Hope that helps 🙂

I cannot find the “consider options” on any of the characters task bars?? There’s no “Do it” option on the prompt either! How do I make them do the task?? anyone?
Are you assuming you should have this, based on my comment or were you prompted for this task? If you weren’t prompted, you wouldn’t see this.

So what IS your preferred item from this act Patric? In your last post you alluded to the middle of the act. Which would make me assume the monster couch or covered bridge. Personally I would bet the bridge since you can do a lot of good designing with it.
I am definitely looking forward to the bridge, but I always enjoy more playable characters to walk around town. I’m still a relatively new player (started just before valentines event) and need the cash flow to get land.

Is anyone else having difficulties getting into their Springfield since the start of Act 2? I am on a Kindle Fire 7 HD. My boyfriend can open his town on his Galaxy S7 Edge Android phone via our Wi-Fi, so it’s not that. Already tried all the usual steps…Reboot…Clear Cache…Re-reboot, Force Stop, … Well everything but uninstall, as I am hoping to not lose my Anonymous Mini Town.
I play on my Kindle Fire HD 7 (original version) sometimes, and I haven’t had any problems with it playing this event. Have you tried doing an uninstall/reinstall? That’s what I would suggest next…
If you would be upset to lose your town, then you need an Origin ID. There was a big glitch recently where people lost their towns if they were anonymous. They eventually fixed it, but who knows if they’ll be able to fix the next time.
Thank you Sandra and Ellie for the response/aid. Yeah… after 27 hours, it is sadly apparent I am gonna have to try that. Actually have 5 accounts on this Kindle. One of them being the anonymous one. DANG! Why do I have to be so addicted!!! Lol. 2 of them belong to family members who don’t have room on their phones. The other 3 is my main account, a second account that was my 1st anonymous account that I had to tag into an Origin profile when my other Kindle conked out, and the current anonymous account on the current Kindle. Those 2 happened because I’m STILL playing at 4am…in the dark (muuuahaha) when everyone is asleep, and for some reason, even though I always play silent, both music and SFX volumes turned off, when I accidentally bump the screen before being able to tap the Login corner, that pesky Kaboom video would trigger blaring “This Happy Little Elf game is so stupid! You tap and wait….” and at 3am when the rest of my neighboreenos are asleep… it is LOUD… even though my media volume is only 1/2 bar. And since I don’t want to wake anyone up such as my boyfriend who’ll not be happy I am still playing… hehehe… I do some tasks to get it past that video trigger for future bumps… next thing I know…. It’s at level 48, been through a bunch of events with limited time goodies won and donuts purchased for Other goodies. Again…. Why oh why do I have to be so dang addicted to this dangdiddily addictive game!!!! *Bangs head on wall* LOL I did file a ticket with EA at 2am just in case it was a programming glitch since it happened after Act 2 engaged, but… *Sigh* Time waits for no Tech. Maybe until I get a reply I can confiscate the Gallaxy S7 I bought for mom and load the game there. She doesn’t even use it really….. mmmuuuaawahahaha…. *Rubs hands together*
The uninstall/reinstall it’s really no big deal *except* for the anonymous account. I don’t know if it’s possibly to change your anonymous account to a non-anonymous one, but, if you can do that, then the whole thing is no big deal (other than that it takes a while to download and install).
Yeah… Didn’t want to do that because then I would have to make another anonymous account to prevent Homer’s KABOOM video from triggering and I know I won’t be able to leave it alone at level 1 and would have yet another town.
I actually am all good now. I loaded the game in the phone I got for my mom so I could play catch up. Went to my Kindle to check something online, and out of habit tried lo a ding my game, forgetting I was still logged in on the phone, and this time I got the “You are on another device…. progress not saved..” yadiyadi msg, so pressed OK instead of play, and logged into my 2nd (previously anonymous account) and it loaded!!! Logged out of that and changed to try to log into primary account again and it worked!!! So either I unstuck the mindless loop by logging into a different device, or EA fixed a glitch pertaining to Act 2 launch on Kindles. It’s all good. Using both devices at the same time to catch up all the towns and to return the favor to all the neighbors that visited them all. HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY!! *Does Snoopy Dance*

Just a reminder, you earn 10 clapboards per tap of the rats and friend actions and you have more people to help with taking down monsters. The numbers needed for the prizes are higher but you get more to make up for it.
