As we sit here frakkin files, pulling pics, and typing a million words a minute to get our readers the latest updates and information…we find ourselves sometimes forgetting to stop and enjoy our own games. More so our neighboreenos. So we try to make it a point to hop in n out of the towns now and then to see what cool things YOU are up to. So we have decided we want to continue to focus more attention (as if we don’t already 😛 ) on YOU…our readers. Time to time we will be peaking into your towns, checking our Flickr, and also the posts in the comments below to see what cool ideas and designs YOU have come up with to make your towns unique and…well…YOU. So here is YOUR chance to show off all your hard work, time, donuts & in game cash spent. Send us your work, no matter how big or small. Brag about it to the world. We want you to. Halloween Removal Is Live in the App Stores

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Popping in to let you know, if you didn’t already know, the Halloween Removal update is now live in your App Stores!

Download now if you’re looking to remove Halloween from your device…

For now there’s nothing new in game..but that doesn’t mean something won’t be coming soon.  As always there’s a little teaser to get us talking…

My guess is we’ll see Thanksgiving either tomorrow or Thursday, and in about 2 weeks or so we’ll see the Christmas Event.  But again, that’s just me guessing…

If you DO NOT wish to remove Halloween right now, still working on those prizes or another round of bonuts, just make sure your auto-update is off and keep playing.  Don’t download the update until you’re forced to.

But remember…my word of caution…you’re playing on borrowed time!  At any time EA can say “ok time to force the update”…which means you’ll lose any and all progress you were working on.  So proceed with caution….

In the meantime enjoy the brightness of Springfield…at least until the snow hits!

It’s Halloween in our pocket-size Springfields!  Yes that magical time of the year when our towns turn dark, our water becomes mucky and there are monsters everywhere to battle.  Just like October in every other suburban town in America, no?

The Halloween Event is in full swing on our devices and it’s full of creepy decorations, buildings and characters…all designed to get us into the Halloween spirit!

This Event is broken up into 3 Acts, with each Act containing part of the story.  To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Act.  Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event.  For the Third Act you’re tasked with collecting Megaphones (ico_cur_thoh2016_megaphone_lg) to unlock each prize!

The Seventh Act 3 Prize awarded at 73,150 ico_cur_thoh2016_megaphone_lg is Frinkenstein because it’s about time we got to the final prize…
