Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
It’s Halloween in our pocket-size Springfields! Yes that magical time of the year when our towns turn dark, our water becomes mucky and there are monsters everywhere to battle. Just like October in every other suburban town in America, no?
The Halloween Event is in full swing on our devices and it’s full of creepy decorations, buildings and characters…all designed to get us into the Halloween spirit!
This Event is broken up into 3 Acts, with each Act containing part of the story. To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Act. Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event. For the Third Act you’re tasked with collecting Megaphones () to unlock each prize!
The First Act 3 Prize awarded at 9,800 is the Medieval Cathedral because Bart needs a new church to cause trouble in…
So let’s take a closer look at this first prize and just what happens when you unlock it in your Springfield…
Once you’ve collected 9,800 you’ll automatically be awarded the Medieval Cathedral and you’ll see this message popup:
And you’ll have the option to place it in your Springfield immediately or store it in your inventory for later. Remember if you store it you’ll have to go back into your inventory to retrieve it.
The Medieval Cathedral does not come with a questline (other than the initial one telling you to unlock it). Nothing to help you earn more …just unlock the prize and move on. It does have a little dialogue from Bart that’ll popup when built….
Bart: Medieval Cathedral? Way to make a lame thing sound even lamer. Like “chatty Lisa”.
Here are some quick facts about the Medieval Cathedral:
Size: 12×8
Build Time: 4hrs
Conform-O-Meter: Vanity +200
MAG Points When Built: 180
Earns: $300, 30xp/24hrs
Task: Rev Lovejoy. 8hr Task, Fill the First Two Rows Only (earns $275,70xp)
What Does it Do?: Animated when in use. Lights up inside
And there you have it, the details behind the Medieval Cathedral, the first Halloween Act 3 prize!
What’s Next?
Wolf Rock- Awarded at 18,700
. This will be the next prize we breakdown in the prize guide post.
So that my friends is the full breakdown of the first Act 3 prize!
What do you think of the Medieval Cathedral? Safe to assume you’ve all unlocked it by now? Where have you placed it? Did you know Lovejoy had a task there? Sound off in the comments below, you know we love hearing from you!
Not the highest bulb here… I am have a hard time trying to figure out the Medieval Gate upgrade. tried going back to look at other posts about the gate… anyway I was awarded this awhile back but I’m lost as to where it is and how do I get to it…
Addicts bails me out all the time I love this site!
It’s really just an optional upgrade to the original gate…a slider when you tap it. But…not much thing went into this. Worst grinding prize ever, IMO.
You mean: ” Worst. Grinding prize. Ever.” 😀
(I do agree with you.)
Love the cathedral 😊
Again I only realize there’s a task when I read this. They always seem to be 4-hours tasks…
Will send the Reverend Lovejoy as soon as there are no more monsters to battle 🙂
OK, call me crazy *random person runs up and yells “Dave you’re CRAZY!” –
The description says “animated when in use” who has a task here? Thanks for the work. Not sure I would still be playing this game without the Addicts.
As the post notes…Rev lovejoy 😉
Finally!!!!! We all got some flying butresses up in here.
I like my cathedral. Makes the place look a little more classy.
This is a less cool version of the notre dame cathedral premium item. I don’t have room for 2 medieval cathedrals in one Springfield!
And still, no task in either for Father Sean.
Father Sean is a very illusive character, who not many people will have him. He was a prize at the wHELL Of misFortune and premium after the event, so you needed a lot of donuts to acquire him.
looks like the EA server is down again 🙁
I’ve finished the Mag Points prize track, and I’m about four days ahead of the calendar on the Act 3 prize track… so I should be able to get at least a few bonut rounds at the end. That’s without pushing very hard — but *with* several premium characters.
I’ve basically concluded that that’s the key to events: While it is usually technically possible to achieve all of the objectives without premium characters, if you have enough of the premium characters which were randomly selected to contribute to a particular event, then you don’t have to work nearly as hard. (Translation: fewer nights of losing sleep to late night tapping! 😀 )
Halloween is the reason why I have all the premium kids 👶👦👧
And the calendar when?
Im like 2K for the 5 prize
Umm…a week ago?

It would be nice if you could ask politely. This is an all-fan made blog, and they are in no obligation to fulfill your requests. They do us a great favor on helping us advance in the game and making choices, and they deserve a lot of respect for a task that isn’t paid.
Hear! HEAR!
