Hmm.. well, I have heard mentioned somewhere here that sometimes past completed quest jobs continue to show up locked. Perhaps that is what the two of your are experiencing. I believe I have a similar issue but with Grandpa. If that is what has happened to you two then there is not you can do to clear it out. Having a locked task is annoying I know. Sorry I couldn’t help.

Is anyone else hoping for a futurama Christmas event? They have a ton of Christmas characters and specials to tie them in 🙂 I’m saving all my donuts in a hope they will come at some point! Also my game has been crashing a lot lately, is anyone else experiencing this? Or know how I can fix it? I’ve tried the hard reopen, reset the iPad, have lots of available space…I’m stuck!
I’m at 900,000 Real Estate and now things are quiet I’m keen to get to the 1,000,000 but there seems to be nothing much about to help me get there. I did the Beach Hideaways until they disappeared the other day and now even the Exclusive resorts seem to have gone. Am I blind or is there something that doesn’t cost a shed load of donuts to help me get the last 100K? Thanks 🙂

Yes I looked there. The odd thing is it’s not there (or in any of the other categories that I can see) on THIS game. But on another SF I still see it exactly where you suggest. Weird!
I feel as though EA are insulting me personally now by offering the Christmas gold mansion skin after putting the mansion on sale twice during times when I couldn’t get to my game due to a little problem called real life. 😡 😡

Did anyone else lose all the Thanksgiving event items out of their store? The event began, I received the cornucopia, saw that there were new items in the store, but when I went back to make a purchases, everything was gone. I repeatedly tried updating my game, uninstalling and reinstalling the game, contacting EA, no solution ever found. I could not make a single purchase during the event, and I had wanted to purchase most of the items. I hope I don’t have to wait until next year for those items to come around again. I really wanted Mrs Bouvier! Very frustrating Thanksgiving for me.
Thanksgiving items to purchase (like the Balloons, Mrs. Bouvier etc) ended last week, on Friday. However, Connor Grant and the Improvised Snare should remain in the store until tomorrow.

I’m getting fairly desperate for space, yeah. I have about three blocks of open land, including the space I use for my little KEM farm. If the winter event takes up as much space as events tend to, I’ll be all out of space. Mansions take up a lot of space, and the castles (aside: can’t believe I have to use the plural of that) are looking cramped in the space I have for them. Expanding the Heights would help me a lot.
I would also like more ocean. The islands, whale, and oil drill should all be farther from shore than they are. I’m also running low on space in the ocean, but fewer things go in the ocean/squidport than the mainland.
Does anyone have emmyshang as a neighbor? Is she a tagger or not? I received a friend request out of the blue from her & don’t want to accept if she is going to vandalize me. I have not posted in the Add A Friend (Graffiti Free) thread for quite a long while since my list is pretty full (have 1 opening right now, please do not bombard me w/ requests). I suspect she saw my name on the Springfield Gorge Black Friday thread. I would like to accept but not if she is going to spray paint me.

2) Please could I have another female for my SF? Mrs. Wiggum would be super cool, but if not, I’m sure there are heaps you could chose from.
3) Please could Santa Homer pay out at premium rates, since I paid a premium price for him. You do it for everyone else, so why not him?
4) Please could Lou & Eddie pay out premium rates at the Eyeballs of Death in Krustyland (I have enclosed a map so you know where to find it. There is a free bus in my town that goes there 3 or 4 times a day, but I’m guessing you’ll be on your sleigh)

TAPPERS – If you were to send a Christmas letter to SantEA, what would you say/ask for?…..💜X
I would request that santEA make many items available to EARN in the holiday event that gives you bonus xp and money :). As for the posts regarding spray paint( vandalism ) in your town it’s a tedious fix, but there is a way to do it. Every time someone vandalizes your town immediately remove them from your friends list. When adding new friends ONLY post in the thread that promises to not vandalize. When I was a TSTO newb, I didn’t realize the damage I was doing in other people’s towns. I fully understand now that once your town is huge, every time u log in you don’t want to search every square inch for vandalism. What ends up happening if you log out and don’t catch the offense, your bonus money and xp decreases. Happy tapping!
Or you can just place a bunch of training walls or spooky walls in your town and never worry about getting vandalized again. It’s been well over a year or more since my righteousness rating has dipped below 5 stars. It’s a much easier, and less stressful, fix than getting and dumping neighbors.
Yippee ki yay finally I’m not alone in my constant hope that sarah wiggum will be put in the game I’ve mentioned many a time before on here how much I want her in my game( including suggestions of how she could have been brought in). as Ralphie needs a mum and clancy needs his wife back.
Happy (late) weekend everyone! Happy Thanksgiving to all those in the USA. I still really don’t get it, as I like our Canadian timing here (and the holiday itself is way more subdued), but I know it’s a big deal and I hope all had a wonderful time. I actually had a nice time even though I still had to work, because with all my U.S. colleagues off, I was able to focus and tackle some of the biggest outstanding to-do’s on my list and really make some terrific progress -restoring some much needed sanity and work/life balance. I did slip out Friday for some lunch time shopping. Black Friday has creeped its way into Canada and gets bigger every year. I snagged a $100 hockey bag that I was going to buy my youngest daughter anyway, for $36! I love it when it’s not even an impulse thing, but something you really want.
4 hockey ice times and yesterday my daughter and I baked cookies to take to her game. She handed them out before they played. Everyone enjoyed them and we went on to snap a 5 game losing streak with a 3-1 win! Not only the win, but the whole team just played amazing. Of course, now she’s been told she has to bring cookies every game, LOL! Side note, last weekend was an absolute hearbreaker. On Saturday, they were winning by 1 goal, and the other team tied it up with ONE second left on the clock. Then, on Sunday they were tied, and the other team won it with…yep…ONE second on the clock! We really needed this one to pick the kids up. (Okay, so maybe it wasn’t a losing streak per se, but a “non-winning” streak).
Sadly, FX Canada isn’t doing the marathon. I was looking forward to a bunch of Christmas episodes, but I’m sure that they will be playing regularly soon enough anyway. I was glad to see the Halloween event go, but I did really enjoy it. A pretty good one overall. There were several items I was interested in for Black Friday, but in the end, I was too busy to really follow the deals, and I didn’t want any of them desperately enough to chew into the donut stash I’m trying to build for Christmas. PLEASE say Christmas is coming tomorrow or Wednesday at the latest! I’m so ready to hit the lights plunger and decorate. I don’t have a ton to put out anymore though, since I built the dedicated Christmas area that stays out all year (really wish I could keep snow there all year too). I hope we get more Christmas skins for buildings – but not for donuts! And please, please, pretty please, Santa, I want neighbour interaction like dropping presents (and like 10 presents per neighbour for all your neighbours – not 3 per for the first 30 or whatever), and community prizes. Bring it on big guy!!! Finally, I want to end with a “Thanks” to all of you here. I have a rich, full life away from the game, but I do love the game, and I’m glad to have found a bunch of people who love it too, who help me learn all the little secrets I would never figure out otherwise to get the most out of it, and to truly be real friends we can all share with – be it new family members, work trials, crafting projects, etc. Have a great week everyone!!

Curious. What sort of donut stockpile did you prepare for Christmas. I was doing the same and then spent several hundred right before Black Friday on some of the character deals. Almost back up to 250. Not sure if I feel prepared or not.
I always make that I have a gazillion of game cash to create/craft donuts, hence I call them cronuts.
I bought almost all the Halloween stuff (and I already had most of the older stuff) – went a little crazy actually, but no regrets. As a result of that, and buying the Hunting Supplies store, as well as the rabbit snare, I have now built up to 200 donuts. I wouldn’t say that’s “ready” either, but it’s a decent start and better than zero.
Sounds like my story as well. I lived in Saskatchewan for several years, and though I don’t follow sports, I consider myself a rough riders fan. Congrats on your team winning!
Aw, thanks. We lost the Grey Cup to the Rough Riders last year. And you may know that years ago, Ottawa was actually the “Rough Riders” too. It was always so weird to have two teams with the same name. I’m not actually that big a fan and don’t follow it too much, but you can’t help feel the excitement, and not sure if I mentioned previously, but the QB’s kids play hockey for the same association as mine. We’ve actually chatted on many occasions and he’s just a class act all the way. It was really nice to see him win as he’s expected to retire now (being 41 yrs old!).

There is the big plunger to switch on&off. I got it for free, but the last time it was offered it costed 75 donuts.
It is reissued for 30 donuts. My advise is: buy it to spare you tapping finger. Switching on/off your Christmas lights in your house farm will be much EAsier.
It’d be quite interesting to see everyone’s bonus multipliers (sans hidden SH scores).
Through a combination of, initially, lots of money spent, then being somewhat fortunate on wailing walls and tennis courts, add finally some Bloodmobile buying and selling/ KEM farming, I am in the rarified air of having a four figure multiplier of 1151.2%.
I’d be curious to see how many van surpass this figure (I have dropped some serious £’s.

It also allowed me to spend hundreds on the yellow submersible in the quest for more space at sea to store buildings listed on my first post in this thread.

That’s a huge bonus… I’m only in the three hundreds. So have you reached the point where it’s more advantageous to just leave the XP Collider turned on all the time? (I only recently discovered that that was even a thing.)
I’m at 501%, and I definitely keep my collider on at all times. I have for weeks, actually, it worked just fine with the 400-some I had. I can’t buy everything that comes up, but I can certainly buy anything I really want with primarily farmed donuts. (I did spend like $150-$200 to get there, though.)
My collider is always on…the 25 donuts every 10 days means it only costs 2.5 donuts per day. It helps me bring in over 50 donuts per day…a good return on spent confections.
Yeah it’s never off.
Even without farming it makes sense to keep it on.
At least two rounds of level ups just from sending 200+ characters on 24 hr tasks, never mind the small KEM farm at a level per 8 KEM’S.

Most of the buildings garner hidden xp only bonuses. I’ve very few of themout.
Valet parking etc.

Indeed you do.
There are varying bonuses for each. There’s a guide within this site.

So it may not help you get some extra $$$, but if you are looking at boosting that XP to get to those Bonus Donuts (Bonuts) Round… it definitely is helpful.

As far as I know, the only accessory pieces which also give out bonuses were the Beach HIdeaway accessories — but that was a limited time item. Keep an eye out; if it comes back, you should absolutely pick up one or two. Just passed 300%. I always keep my collider on now. Get 6 or so donuts every 4 hours from KEM farming. Still makes it worth it for me. When I first started in 2012 I spent 18 months grinding to save enough donuts for the volcano lair. Still my favorite purchase.

It seems ages since we’ve seen her.
Well today has started out with a massive poop first I find out that I get 24th-26th December off work for Christmas but then because I don’t have those days of the week off normally the company claims them back meaning I have to work 9 days back to back getting up at 3am. Then I find out that someone who I trained to do the same job as me but on less hours per week without asking was offered a better paying longer hours job. It’s not like I’ve only been there a year longer than them and pretty much do normal rate overtime on a daily basis to help out.
OK rant over sorry about that but I had to get it off my chest. On a positive I got all the tsto items I wanted from the black Friday sales (shh nobody mention the gold mansion) now I’m looking forwardto cyber Monday fun and getting me and my mum tickets to see a west end bee gees show.
Where do you work? They sound awful! Are you sure what they’re doing is legal, in terms of the way they’re handling the holiday time?
I work at my local sainsburys supermarket as an online shopper. As I mentioned to ebron below most of my superiors are corrupt. Apparently the reason for it is because by having those days off for Christmas I won’t have done all my contracted hours for the week so I have to make them up. However the catch is if you try to put in holiday at any point during december which I did It will get instantly rejected and they force you to pick a different time of the year. The previous area boss I had was much kinder and before he left mid last year actually gave me the last working day before Christmas 2015 off which my current boss was furious about and tried futily to get it changed to make me work it.
That’s a shame. Sounds like maybe it’s time to look for a new job?
I confronted my boss about it today saying that I would be interested in the future if any more opportunities became available and she has put me on a priority list to ask now. Plus I know that 2 people in the role are leaving to live in Spain in January so I’m hoping I’ll be able to take 1 of their places. If it wasn’t for my lack of decent school grades I probably would have left but I don’t want to end up on the dole. Today was a much nicer day in general with that result and we finished all the work 10 minutes early so they let us stand around chatting and even bought everyone a hot drink out of the vending machine. Which is only the 2nd time they’ve ever done nice things like that for us in the 2 years I’ve been there. Sometimes we can go home early if we finish but then we lose that pay so I don’t count that as a nice act.
Good luck with the possible future promoting. As for leaving, yeah…the key is not to leave one job until you’ve lined up the next one.
After nearly 30 yrs. in the grocery business for the same company, (over half my life), I’ve come to not care for the holidays. It’s hard to enjoy family time when you’re overworked & over stressed. That’s why I said to heck with it & am going on a weeks vacation (with no pay). I could care less about the pay, it just sucks I have to make up the hours to have my insurance paid. Due to medical leave for part of the year, the company decided I wouldn’t get my 5 wks. paid vac. this yr. 😐 Oh well, doodoo happens 😞
Yeah big companies really know how to screw over the little people who often put in the most work at what we do such as me and you whilst helping themselves and putting on a nice and generous front for the customers
My only way to keep a positive attitude is to concentrate on my customers. If I didn’t have all the regulars, & seeing the occasional acts of kindness between customers, I’m not sure I’d make it through the day. Today was fun, 7 hrs. on concrete with just a 15 min. break. Oh well, I lived 😊
I feel your pain…spent 20 years working all the weekends and all the Holidays ( I was a Catering Exec Chef ) and worked 3 weeks without a break every December. I retired last year and got to actually enjoy Christmas like a normal person. Sorry you are not getting the recognition you deserve. I know it doesn’t really help, but try not to let it ruin your Holiday if you can. Employers will always take advantage of good workers and sometimes recognition is scarce. Hope you have people in your life that appreciate you outside of work…they are the ones that really matter anyway.
Thanks I appreciate that it has definitely made me feel better. Apart from a couple of them most of the high ranking people in my job are either corrupt or don’t give a $*!7 about their workers or help them in any way. Everyone I’ve spoken to has said it is wrong including my family who want me to mention it to them. Hopefully I should still be able to enjoy Christmas with the people who do care about me though.
Hey neighboreenos 😊 I’m going to visit my daughter & her family in Montana, (I get to see my 9 month old granddaughter 😍), this Friday & will be gone for a week. The reception there is hit & miss 😳 It’s already been insane at work, I love the holidays more each year (said sarcastically 😂). Hoping to not miss too much of the Christmas event. I’ll clear my town whenever I get the chance in case there is neighbor interaction (PLEASE EA). I loved dropping presents, hint hint 😂

Never available. All the characters voiced by Phil Hartman were retired in the show and the thought is that includes TSTO also.
What’s the latest on Phil Hartman characters? Why can’t they be used?.
I don’t believe it has anything to do with voice acting as we have plenty of other unvoiced characters.

I deny the naysayers. I think they’re saving him until people start to stop playing to bring them back in. I mean seriously C.H.U.M.? Future Bart, Gravedigger Billy, if they give us all the main canon characters it’ll be nothing but D list cameos from here on out.
I agree. They will probably then offer them for 1000 donuts a piece and sit back and watch as people empty their wallets for these must have characters.

I guess it’s just me, but I think it honours these people to put them in places like our game. I understand retiring them on the show, as in not continuing with new people or voices, but I feel like the game is different.

I was finally able to afford Santa’s Little Helper. He is roaming around, kinda cute but not a huge dog value. I also got the bear cave for my forest. Fun quest line with Maggie…I wish they would add to it with some continuing tasks or animation for the bear. I am looking forward to snow! Really hoping, fingers crossed, that I can get the little raccoon in a Christmas sweater this year!
I didn’t buy anything on the Black Friday sales. I wanted a couple things Friday but didn’t get my gift card loaded in time to buy donuts. Oh well I’m so far behind on organizing my town.

You are not alone with the stonecutter event. First time around I missed out on Carl,lenny and Otto. Recently picked up Bowlarama and would also like to add Barney. Pretty sure Barney was a stonecutter…..?
He was on the show if I recall, but as far as I know they didn’t give him the skin in TSTO yet
