Hey there Addictereenos! So I’m texting with Alissa the other day and she’s all “hey Wook… you think you’d have time to do a What the Addicts Want post?” and I’m all “Sure thing boss.” I think if I’d known (or remembered from the last time) what I was getting in to, you might not be reading these words right now. I dredge through the site looking for the last post to use as an example and realize it’s been two years minus a week since we did one. TWO YEARS!!! The horror!
Why would the Wookiee be so remiss in compiling what people wanted? Well the answer became quite clear to me as I did just that. From January 2015 to now, wading through comments and writing down what people asked for, there’s words to describe my efforts that aren’t PG enough for here. Then I remind myself how much I love this community and just get through it. Jebus knows I’ve gone through tougher things than compiling a list. Long story short… truly, all of you really have some great ideas as evidenced by the last list and this one. If you’re interested in what I highlighted this time… click more.
So ugh and woo hoo and fart. Getting this all sorted for viewing was a pain in my fuzzy behind. I’m glad it’s done though. All of the ideas here come from the previous wish list post and other posts where I saw the suggestion and typed it down. I even included some of your ideas from various What a Wookiee Wants. By no means is this a perfect system (especially the cull from unrelated posts) but I do the best I can. If your idea got missed or written down wrong, I apologize but you can always comment on this post and add it again. Trust me when I say this is a time and brain-intensive process so any failures are the author’s but I do the best I can. I’m more than willing to add your name to items if it was missed AND the addition is important to you.
As for EA… I sincerely hope you read posts like this because there are some boffo ideas here. Seriously, the awesome readers of this site hopefully make your lives much easier. If you’re not reading, than you’ll miss me say I wrote Santa to give you coal for pissing off so many people with the topic of religion during the holidays. Said coal might just be averted in the future by guaranteeing you’re on the NICE list next year, and helping others is the first step. Do unto others or something like that. Also, I have it on good authority that the jolly old nog hog is neighbors with the Krampus who is much more unforgiving. I saw a whole movie about it that renewed nightmares given to me by my grandmother. Please EA… for the sake of Christmas give us some of the list.
It should be said that items from previous wish lists have made it into the game. Some examples would be 02sb13 mentioned a Sci-Fi Event, Totbox had CHUM, Omar Smith had the group movement option, Paul O’Borne mentioned the Olympics, Marianne and babypatootie mentioned more land opposite the ocean, several mentioned a bunch of international flags, Sandra Shill had Dr. Marvin Monroe, Theron Zimmerman included the Lil Lisa Recycling Plant, RandomWest had Rancho Relaxo & Ling Bouvier, alunited1961 basically predicted the Superheroes events, Someone stole my burrito™ had cacti & boulders, JMLGG mentioned Shelbyville stuff, Enda Sheehan had Johnny Tightlips, bilbocatuzzi included Springfield Gorge, and chippyfan even prognosticated Stephen mother trucking Hawking. That’s a lot and I didn’t even mention everything like the monorail (alunited1961 and me say thank YOU EA) and Maggie. We’re like TSTO Nostradumbasses or something. Well, at least I am.
Anyhoo… I broke down the ideas by category again. You’ll see that a lot of folks had the same ideas, that we STILL want a lot of things and people are wonderfully creative. Just the list of characters blows my mind. Speaking of characters… it’s a new rule of mine not to ever put Troy McClure, Lionel Hutz, or Lyle Lanley on these lists any more. We get it… you want the characters of Phil Hartman and while I hold out hope someday it could happen even though the show runners have publicly announced the retirement of the characters in respect for Mr. Hartman, I don’t think we’re gonna get them and I’m sick of seeing them suggested. Obviously they were requested and I guess that’s enough to show the impact of Hartman’s comedic genius. We got a brief taste of Lyle during the Monorail 2015 and it hurt to see him for such a brief moment only to disappear into the ether. The other character excluded was Bleeding Gums Murphy. The Addicts voted him as the most desired character so once again, to avoid typing tons of names, I excluded him. If any of these are your one true wish… then do that in one hand and then poop in the other. Hopefully no one has a cow, man. If you’re mad, let’s agree to disagree or we could always play a game of Dejarik holochess… Wookiee vs. you. Basically we sit down and then you agree to let me win.
To avoid further words in what is certainly a long post, let’s take a look at this January 2017 version of what the Addicts want:
NOTE: Just for fun, Alissa, Bunny, Pat and I went through and picked a few (no more than ten each) favorites which are indicated by BOLD. Alissa’s favorites are in BLUE, Bunny’s in PURPLE, Pat’s are in RED, and mine are GREEN (I wanted Simpsons yellow but Alissa said it hurt her precious eyes. I still think she’s wrong but she’s the boss. I guess looking at this maybe she’s right or left or something like that. Dang it was hard for all of us to pick favorites. Surprisingly we came to a little consensus even not knowing what others picked. There are so many amazing ideas here and while it breaks my heart to know I missed a ton in the last two years, I’ll beg your indulgence. If even just a few of these items make it into the game (especially the gameplay stuff), TSTO will be better for it. Hope you enjoyed seeing what your fellow Addicts (and possibly you) wanted. Apologies it took so long to do another one of these dedicated posts (although Totbox did a character one January 2016) and I look forward to your thoughts and ideas. It’s obvious there is so much to keep this silly mobile game going. Sound off with your thoughts. Feel free to add anything you felt was missed below. I like all the ideas except for the SH update
I play the game since The first wacking day event. And i’m still working at SH
I made almost half of the points required for the last prize in the x4 currency event
I am totally opposed to any kind of characters/celebrities/famous people other than real characters from the game. This isn’t that other cartoon based game that went rubbish when they start endless added by any old character.
If fact why do we need more characters at all, just make more fun dialogue or tasks between existing ones.
With this year being the 10th anniversary of the movie (my how time flies) and with there being little stuff from the movie in the game, I think it’s possible we could see a movie event. We could have characters like Russ Cargill, Colin, Boob Lady and the eyeball monster; skins like Emperor Moe and Alaska Homer; and tasks like Bart skateboarding naked and Homer dogsledding. A visual task of Springfielders forming an angry mob would be great too.
The ability to split the store into a stuff that doesn’t cost donuts section would be great too.
It’s lists like these that remind me there’s still a ton of content to be released 🙂

Fences to go along the lines between squares, rather than taking up a square
In my mobile browser (uc browser) there’s only bold pink and the rest are all bold red. Just for you to know.
My Wishlist:
1) search bar in inventory
2) option to organize inventory
3) buy/sell/trade/gift items to neighbors
4) offline mode
5) friendship prizes
6) icon that shows building income ready to be collected like the one that shows the characters that have completed tasks
7) more SH land and water
8) zoom out completely
9) connecting fences/shrubs to make 1 long strip that counts as only 1 item to help reduce total # of items in town
10) in game chat with neighbors

I’d like to have the old farm from gmo event with terwilligers. I think spring 2015, but might be mistaken. I also want the stonecutters even. I missed both times and i am very sorry. I love the fences and the things other players have 🙁 Sorry for the old ideas.
I would love an “Island of Doctor Hibbert” event. The whole town could have animal skins from the episode, aka Marge as a cat and Wiggum as a pig. That would be epic.
Also I’d love another row or two of water in my Springfield. It’s getting full. Plus it would be great if Springfield Heights went as far to the right as the rest of my Springfield does. I could fill it with sooo many hotels and buildings.
A simple one: now that there are so many characters who have two-hour tasks it would be nice to have them included in the unemployment office job list.
EA would have to add new 2 hour jobs for those who haven’t got it. They did add new jobs when introducing the Unemployment Office.
Only,…. those are/were/will be indoor jobs 🙁
Did I miss ability to trade in curved pieces of monorail? I have 95 of those and none of the others!!

When starting “Find Maggie”, turn off all other sounds & animations until you’re done trying to find her😊
Show some love to Krustyland and let us move more things there like castles and other buildings Amusement-Park like. Give us some events and more things to put there since so much open space. BUT MY BIGGEST request is let me move Springfield Gorge and Cleatus’ Farm into Springfield heights as that is my wild west badlands area.
You CAN move Cletus’ Farm into Springfield Heights.
To further explain this, you can move both up there, but must be placed on grass rather than dirt. You can then use rocks or whatever to cover the front grassy sections of both the gorge and Cletus’ farm to be in-keeping with t/he aesthetic you arr trying to create.
I would say let us put the Krustyland stuff in Springfield and get rid of the shuttle. I never, ever go there
The ability to choose the qty when you’re selling items in inventory.

I would love to be able to move characters. I have started a Community center with the rabbi playing chess and it needs some park benches with characters sitting on them. Or Selma having a smoke, others doing yoga, sleeping it off.
I know we can have the bench sitters go there if we only have one bench per user in the town, but mine has a lot of them in little pockets all over.
Now that I have Sophie, I really want her to have a 4-hour task independent of her dad, since he’s usually busy doing event stuff or recycling metal.
She’s got a task at the Moonbounce – it’s the only reason I’ve got it out of storage. Not the same, I know, but it works for now.

I’d like:
To be able to zoom out farther
To be able to choose my monorail tracks after getting all three stations or after a certain level of monorail development has been reached
To be able to rid my inventory of certain Springfield Heights pieces, such as modern mansion, classic mansion, modern building, pieces.
To be able to put cars on the road and in the parking spaces.
To have an indicator on the each of my friends town letting me know if they don’t have any thing left for me, so that I don’t have to hunt around a giant Springfield looking for nothing.

i would love the ability to sell/delete items in inventory. i had to buy a new tablet because i will not give up this game>sigh<
Each item with a dollar sign in your inventory can be sold already.
Would absolutely LOVE to see Lady Gaga (and maybe the Gaga express with bluebird grandpa task) even if it was 300 donuts I would buy more donuts just to add this pop star to my town 😀 It would be awesome to see the “You Don’t Make Friends with Salad” conga line, wow I would send characters on that all the time, especially if they all walked round town and have this huge conga line of 100+ characters!! 😛 I saw no Hulio/Julio? Chloe the news reporter? Jailbird Jr? Lego Simpsons skins from “Brick Like Me”? Angelica Button characters/skins? “Oh Greystash..GREYSTASH!!” They could even make an event out of it. Such amazing characters need to be added! :))
Oops! Julio is in the list, must of overlooked him. Homer Scissorhands would be a nice costume though, and Homer’s hairdressers. 🙂
Personally, I would like to see Father Sean have a task at a church. Like the Notre Dame of Springfield or the Cathedral we got during Halloween.

I would like to have Sara Wiggum, Apu’s kids, Troy Mclure, some kids from school (for example the white boy who’s always sick, I don’t remember his name), new rides for Krustyland, the day & night mode and finally the possibility to rotate completely any object and the camera 🙂
I feel that a lot of people will groan and exhort “not another Homer skin!” but I really would like to see ANGRY DAD especially with the obligatory “strangle Bart” visual task.
I’m looking forward to a Springfield Mall type of event that has been intimated at previously. There are so many interesting stores from the show with extremely clever names that would be great to have in our game.
I would like the ability to shift my entire Springfield up and to the right as new Land is added enabling me to build next to the mountains or along the beach.

This reminders me of Homer as Angry Dad. The antics around him (and Bart) has enough things for, al least, a mini event.
So again, Why no stonecutters? Sacred scrolls, Stonecutters, etc. I just did a find search of this page and nothing showed for stonecutters or anything related to the stonecutters. I would be nice to be able to finish off the stonecutters items people are missing.
Would it be possible to add the aforementioned to the above wishlist?

Because we’ve already had stonecutters (twice). So this is really a post for new ideas, not old ideas..but your request is always welcome in the comments.

Alternative late level character sets for the jobs at the monorail and SH, for when you are sick of using only the first 20-some characters for everything and the ~60 characters from later levels not doing anything useful.
Also an option to turn off monorail trains when your device can’t handle them and you don’t wan to disconnect stations.
