So…as predicted…it was pretty EAsy to get everything in Act II…even with the higher daily numbers. I barely tapped that last few days, and still “got everything” with time to spare.
I am a bit confused as to why we are even doing an Act III in some regards…like the fact that I have capped the max in what I can craft…which pretty much makes my quest of Lawyers moot for Act III. How many speakers and gun turrets do you need? What is this, a Guns -N- Roses concert? And if so…where are the roses???? But, I digress…
Here we are… another Grind-Fest coming…in hopes of getting a Monster Truck and a Cletus Skin. We do get “Rappin’ Bart” along the way, so some of the grinding may be worth it. I love his “EMINƎM” Marshall Mathers look.
The numbers are twice again what the originals were…but as we have now figured out…the key is simply log on at least 4 times a day…do the stage work…and you are good to go.
Let’s take a look at the dates and daily cume numbers…
First a little “Behind the Scenes” at Addicts peak… the ORIGINAL NUMBER that was in the file was MUCH higher…as in about 50K higher to reach the final goal. (Check out the main graphic above to see the original numbers).
So…yes…I had to do the calendars twice…CURSE YOU EA for your common sense benevolence!
But, the good news, is that the numbers are much lower, and even more manageable.

We will keep tapping…and collecting… and working toward the “Golden Cletus”…or we may choose to just stop at Bart. We’ll see…

I’m actually ahead for the first time in this event.
I work hard to get donuts and the events being underwhelming, I would buy a premium item occasionally but I don’t really want to play the lottery hoping to get what I want if 4 of 6 are skins and or stuff I don’t want. They also should permit us to make more boardwalk with the additional land/water. Cars on roads would be good also.
You guys do a great job with all the new content. FYI, I just noticed that this calendar isn’t showing up on the Homerpalooza event page yet. I refreshed a couple of times, so I don’t think it is an error on my end. Thanks for all your work.

First start with 2 spot specific stages:
Simpsons House (Rock): Rock only characters Homer and Rev Lovejoy
Springfield Elementary (Pop): Pop only characters Ralph and Nelson
Krusty Burger (Hip Hop): Hip Hop only character Krusty and Hip Hop and Rock character Apu
Then second go to 2 spot multi-purpose venues:
Moes and KEM (both Rock): Nick, Peter, Dr. Hibbert, Weird Al
Moes and KEM (both Pop): Bart, Milhouse, Alaska Nebraska, Weird Al
Moes and KEM (both Hip Hop): Dr. Hibbert, Milhouse, Maggie, Weird Al
Moes and KEM (Rock and Pop): Nick and Peter on Rock, Bart and Milhouse on Pop
Moes and KEM (Rock and Hip Hop): Nick and Peter on Rock, Dr. Hibbert and Milhouse on Hip Hop
Moes and KEM (Pop and Hip Hop): Bart and Milhouse on Pop, Dr. Hibbert and Maggie on Hip Hop
Then lastly fill your three main 4 spot main stages with whoever can play on them, as you’ll definitely have empty spots.
This method will allow you to at least get an extra 1,000 bling in 5 bonuses for filling 5 stages.
I am actually a little ahead on the calendar for a change and the only premium help I have for the event is from Rock star Maggie, so I might get the Vinyl store either tonight or tomorrow.
I hope I don’t get crucified for saying this but I don’t think the prizes for Act 3 are any good. For all the tapping and actions you have to do (yes it’s easier for Act 3 than the previous Acts) but 2 skins as main prizes? Also, the Kwik E-Merch items are lame. It’s basically the same thing for every Event now. Spot lights, multi colored spot lights, fencing. Do you think this is how EA is going to move forward with Events? Basically the same prizes but different events? I’d spend more time tapping or buy the premium characters for these Events if the prizes were of value. Even the Concert Box you can buy for 65 donuts isn’t that great, still a few skins for characters. If this is how EA is moving forward, they’ll lose a 4 plus year tapper :/

Agreed, don’t love that the big prizes are just skins, and not a new character. I wonder if Bart and Cletus’ skins will pay at a premium rate.
They won’t, at least not by default. Sometimes prizes come back as premiums, and then they get an upgrade. E.g. Sacajawea Lisa was a prize during a thanksgiving event, and the next year was offered as a premium item, and the one I previously earned started paying premium. Several stonecutter skins also got an upgrade to premium, and tasks at the Lodge also became premium, a major upgrade for those of us who earned them previously. Any skins earned for free and never offered for donuts, though, pay at the regular rate.
Character or skins won from the prize track are usually paying out standart rate. However, if the return for donuts, they can get upgraded to premium at a later date.
I basically don’t care about any of these prizes.
Normally I can tap every four hours even while at work, but this week I have three days of special training where it’s much harder. But I just got the Hip Hop stage tonight! It’s nearly midnight but it’s technically still Wednesday! So maybe I can finish this wave like I couldn’t finish the previous one. We shall see. I am not too wild about the this whole event but it’s still nice to get everything I can 😀

I’m quite ahead and need a couple of hundred for the land token and new venue, I’d just collected from jams, and tapped all fans, thought that friend actions would round it off, but I stopped getting currency with TEN off.. 😞 Will have to check back in half an hour and tap fans in my town.
Not way ahead, like I was for the first two acts, but should finish the day slightly ahead, which is great, considering that I’m on vacation with limited access (no more than three collections a day, max). Just goes to show that it really does pay to have all of the premium characters usable for this event, if you can afford to get them! 🙂

I know that it can be tough both finding lawyers and with having enough to divvy up among friends. Sometimes I’ll check my town and have quite a few lawyers from various people…but I only have 8 lawyers. So I try to drop one or two amongst all the friends who dropped them.
And then there’s the lawyers I never see…I’m sure I’ve had friends drop lawyers and I completely missed them. Would be nice if EA provided a list of friends who’ve done that, just like they do with the list of friends that tapped the lawyers you dropped.

I’m loving these event calendars. I need to get to the cletus so bad because I have a giant “spuckler farms” area on my map, basically I gave cletus his own amusement park. I free’d up a few spaces on my friends list if anyone is over level 100 and loves going to friends towns during events, I’m level 131 and I’ve been actively playing more than 4 years
I’m level 233 and play everyday and visit often,daily during events. My EA name is the same as this one and am in need of a good neighborino….(hint hint). Wont you be my neighbor?
So I’d bought alcatraaaz straight away and am not displeased with the purchase or anything but is his task list glitched out for anyone else?
His 60 minute task said it was animated but wasn’t it was just at his mansion, but his 8 hour “enjoy financial security” task displayed as not being animated but was.
Off to one of my best starts, despite the fact I just had a 12 hour work day from 7am to 7pm (and a 1 hour commute each way to and from work, so left at 6am and just got home 20 minutes ago).
I’m already past 26,500 bling thanks to dishing out over 400 lawyers so far (still have another 240 lawyers), 1/12th the way towards unlocking Hip Hop Weird Al, and to top it all of, I already got my 5 donuts from the monorail and have 195 metal, and 65 glass (working on getting up to 95 plastic as we speak).

Wow jealous of the monorail! I had to give it up for the event. I just couldn’t keep up with it and do all of the jam sessions and such.
Got the stage after having saved up some of those daily bonuses, like someone else did, so it’s nice to be ahead of the curve already.
Going off-topic for a moment, I’m thinking back to the talk here about the Futurama game a couple months ago when it came out. I’ve seen now that it can be played on my Kindle, so even though I’m down on TinyCo I decided to check it out.
It’s already been removed from my device.
I got to the point of starting the 1hr tasks to get Bender unlocked, so I’m literally just beginning (about the time it gave me the ‘spend $5’ mission others had brought up). After closing out of the game and doing some other stuff for a few hours, I came back…and everything I’d done to start the Bender task was gone. The tower had gone back to not even being restored.
This was one of the problems I’d identified with the Avengers Academy game as well: randomly not keeping progress you thought you’d had going. It seems TinyCo just can’t get it right.
For the ones who already have the hip hop stage: who jams on it? ‘Cause I wanna leave them available and put the others in 24hs tasks…

Just donated. Donuts or books for kids who want to learn’ it’s a no-brainer. Wish I could send more. I’m back at university, and as a “mature” student, that is, a 60yr. old doing fine arts, I no longer qualify for a student loan, and have to pay for each paper upfront. Still, never too old to get an education!
This is a roundabout apology to my neighbours for the shambolic state of my Springfield. Those assignments just keep piling up. I try to drop lawyers evenly each day, and a good spruce up in time for Halloween will hopefully happen at midterm break.

Are the extra slots at the non stage venues going to open up?
Should be getting the hip hop stage in a couple of hours so I am already a little bit ahead. I have the rest of the week off work so tapping every 4 hours should not be a problem.
Unfortunately I have not been able to give your campaign as much as I would have liked on this occasion. There are so many bad things going on in the world and this is a chance to actually doing something positive to improve the lives of others.

Just got the Hip Hop stage thanks to neighbours clearing lawyers I sent earlier, for those who sent some back, thanks! 😊 I made a note of those who had max lawyers and they will be the first I visit when I get more lawyers.
So I missed act one and it looks like that act had 2 new characters, and now that I can see the prizes for act 2 and 3, it looks like it’s only outfits from here on out. Is this just BS or is there some other way to get the prizes? It just seems so freakin’ stupid to me. Are they both playable characters or am I getting mad for nothing? I just got the hip hop stage so it looks like I’m off to a good start on Act 3. I had 3,000 from daily challenges saved up and all my stages are full! I’m really liking this event – especially the bonuts raining from halfway through.

Is anyone else having a problem where it won’t allow you to see the hip hop prizes that you get for doing thoss little side quests (the one’s you do for Weird Al)? It’s telling me they still aren’t available but the last two were available as soon as the last two acts started.
