Another day, another Mystery Box arrives in Springfield! This time, as part of a Christmas teaser, the Winter Wonderland Box is full of Christmas & Winter themed goodies from years past!
This is a premium box full of your chance to get those limited-time premium character/building/decorations with a Christmassy flair to them. By now we should all be familiar with how Mystery Boxes work, so let’s jump to the breakdown of what’s inside…
This Mystery Box is a great way to get items you may have missed out on from Previous Events at a low price…
And…if you already have everything in the box you won’t see the box in your store.
So for 50 donuts you can have your shot at a variety of Christmas/Winter Themed premium characters, skins, decorations and buildings from the past, 50 Donuts is less than the initial value for each item (although some were initially prizes, so they were free when released)

Now, while I know you can’t pick and choose which items you want from the box, I included the Should I Buy posts from the past so y’all can see how much they originally cost & what specifically each building/character does.
50 Donuts is a bargain for most of these items…except for items that were originally free, as getting it for free is the best deal…but still 50 donuts is a fair price for most of the items at least. So my thoughts are, if you have something in there you want…give it a try. You’ll likely get something worth it.

Mystery boxes: grumply-grumply-groo… how much do I despise you. Great post though, despite my anti-mystery box position. Came for the content, stayed for the comments.
The donut farm is thriving, so I gave this a try despite only really wanting the Grumple. Wonder of wonders, I got him on my second try. The first try was the ice palace, which is better than funzos or snow globe. There’s still king winter and the ski lift as well, but at the least I’ll wait a bit to roll the dice again. Something great might show up when the event properly starts, so I want to keep a few hundred donuts in the bank.
I’d love the Nativity scene. I already own most of the things, of course purchased at full price, besides Snow Globe and Murderhorn which I got last year on a discount. I have Funzos, Festivus CBG, Ice Palace, Slide Factory, Nativity Scene, Plow King, Ski Chalet, and Spruce Caboose in my box. Okay maybe I don’t own most of the things, and I’m not getting sucked in this time. I’d happily buy all the things I want from mystery boxes at full price, instead of being thrown around getting awful things I wouldn’t of thought about getting once. Be gone, Mystery Box, show me no more..
One thing I hate about the nativity scene is that every time you pull it out of storage, it restarts the questline, making you send the characters to it.
Of course, I guess if you’re one of those people with a permanent Christmas area in their town, that wouldn’t really be an issue, but I find it really annoying (and its too big to just leave out somewhere hidden, which is too bad, because I think it has a bonus percentage attached to it, IIRC).
I keep it in the church parking lot.. this way i get the % all year

Agreed, a real PITA to have to run through the Quest line. I have a section filled with my snow people and other winter stuff.
I bought one (it’s fun rolling the dice once in a while). I got Stupid Sexy Flanders…
But I’m going to save my donuts because who knows what premiums will be available for the actual event.
When you listed out the contents of the Black Friday boxes you listed on the bonus percentages on the page. For this one though you’re having us click through to each Should I Buy page and skim through to find out what, if any, the percentages are. The Black Friday boxes pages were a better format.
My box had two items only, Murderhorn and the Giant Snow Globe….score!!! Items worth 475 donuts and I was able to get them for 100!!! And I almost got my 100 donuts back from farming today.
I think Tappers need a Springfield Casino Card due to all of this gambling (I mean, Mystery Box purchases! (lol) so that we’re comped with a ‘Free Mystery Box’ choice after so many purchases!🎰
I started with 11 items. Down to 3 and still haven’t landed on funzos!!!
I’ll keep pressing my luck. Snow globe and snow monster left, and I planted the KEM farm to end all KEM farms with over $40,000,000 banked.
I stepped up my farming from my normal 50 to 100 for the holiday season. I’m losing about $200,000 about every 4 hours. It’s not too bad considering I have $207,000,000 just sitting there lol.
And wait, you put down $40,000,000 worth of KEM??? That’s over 2,850 KEMs!!!
Not all at once! I’m burning several million every 4 hours despite running 4 hour tasks constantly.
How did you accumulate all that game cash? I’ve been playing since nearly the beginning, and keep going through it all buying land and KEM farming (I only do 30 KEzms at a time). What am I doing wrong???
A high bonus multiplier is the key to wealth in this game.

Gah – Funzos! I’ve been assiduously avoiding getting any of those (including all of the times they’ve turned up in my vault), and with only a few items left in the mystery box after my initial splurge (during which I managed to avoid the dreaded Funzos), I’m afraid to keep trying, even though there are at least a couple of items I really want. Do I dare risk it? 😯

Only 5 items in my mystery box (Grumple, snow globe, Murderhorn winter cave and ski lift). I would be happy with any and me get all of them. Since it will be around for a month though, I am waiting to see how many sprinkles I will be dropping when X-mas hits before investing.
Wow, just seeped t 750 donughts on items that were mostly free. Sucks that I missed a few events. Good thing iI found this sight, now I know when a new events start. This allows me to only come in for the events.
Got very lucky this time, the one thing I wanted from this mystery box with multiple items in mine, was the Snow Globle. And I got it on my first try. Nice Christmas present for my town.

Mystery Boxes have been good to me. Since prior to Thanksgiving I’ve added 100% to my multiplier. And at this point, I’m only down roughly 400 donuts. (Although I did cash in $20 of QuickThoughts iTunes to actually BUY 300 donuts) you gots to spend SOME real cash every now and then to support the game.
Was missing only 6. So I got all 6, because of course.
I had either bought or won most of the items in the past, except for 3 of them. I had a choice of the Grumple, Snow Globe and the Spruce Caboose. I was soooo pleased to see Snowsuit Maggie in my premium game – first mystery box I’ve had available in ages! I was so pissed I missed the deadline when she was free, happy to pay 50 donuts for her. That eight hour task is so sweet. And four hour task a little hardcore 😂😃
I am ashamed to say that I often have Maggie on that 4-hour task…. It’s so Maggie-like, she really has a dark side. I have already apologized to my stuffed lamb, which I bought at a rummage sale when I was six. He is very understanding.
I already had all but four of the things offered in the box. Mr Plow, Plow King, the Grumple and the snow globe. I got all 4. I’m super happy about getting the Grumple and the snow globe. Fantastic deals for both.

Got murderhorn and slide factory. Only 4 items left in box. I was also reading when they were previously offered and see the date of 2013 and was thinking how long I have been playing tsto. Wow.
I went a little nuts and bought all but 4 boxes! Looks like I am going to have to be a really good girl😇 in hopes that perhaps Santa will bring me some more doughnuts 🍩before the next event begins.🎄
