The snow is falling in Springfield, which can only mean Winter has arrived in our pocket-sized towns! And is in full swing on our devices.
In a change of pace, this Event is broken up into just 2 Acts, with each Act containing part of the story. To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Act. Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event. For the Second Act you’re tasked with collecting Brooches (
) to unlock each prize!
The seventh, and final, Act 2 Prize awarded at 74,950 is Star Snowsuit Maggie (& Sacrifice Your Sheep to Odin), because it’s about damn time Maggie got her iconic costume…
So let’s take a closer look at this seventh prize and just what happens when you unlock him in your Springfield…
Once you’ve collected 74,950 you’ll automatically be awarded Star Snowsuit Maggie and Sacrifice Your Sheep to Odin and you’ll see this message popup:
Unlock other skins for this event, you will have the option to place or store this one in your inventory. Remember if you store this combo you’ll have to go in later to retrieve it.
If you choose place you’ll have to place the Sacrifice Your Sheep to Odin stand first and then Maggie will become Star Snowsuit Maggie…
And she’s part of the Winter 2016 character collection…

Quick question I’ve been doing the daily task where you receive a gift everyday which was marked day 1 , day 2 etc. But the last gift which was a golden coin statue with a thumbs up in the middle I didn’t get to unlock it it wasn’t available for me to unlock on act 1 or act 2 now it’s gone and I didn’t had a chance to obtain it did anyone had this problem I hope someone can answer this for me and knows what I’m talking about lol Thnx.
That’s a placeholder. It didn’t actually mean anything, perhaps what it refers to is that there is still a 4 days to win mystery prizes with your vouchers after the winter event ends .

And you are certain that it is stuffed, how? Meh. Not buying it…and not needed. But, then again…I am a fan of the Maggie who went after Gerald for bopping butterflies.

And Maggie demolished the Mr & Mrs. Gnome she got . Just saying that she can be pretty violent to non-living things
Oh, gosh. I just took a look at Maggie’s sacrifice to Odin task. It really is gruesome, but it’s also so Maggie right down to the maniacal laugh that is usually suppressed by her sucking on the pacifier. The only reason people think she’s sweet and harmless is because she’s so little that she keeps tripping over her clothes. But even Bart will live in fear when she gets bigger and more mobile (and I hope they lock up the knives out of reach!). I see therapy in all their futures. The first Simpson child to end up in prison may not be Bart after all.
Indeed Maggie has had a long term role being that secret undervillian so to speak. When I first saw the animation for the task even I was taken aback by it at first. Guess the creators wanted to go all out for the pagan aspect of last year’s event. But in all good fun it’s just a game, so therefore I love it. Plus it lends well with the sinister theme I’m building for my town. So no complaints on my end.
