Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.
So, here is your Open Thread…..
Well, The Simpsons are over for this season! Time to enjoy the summer and await the start of Season 30 in the fall…
Missing your favorite yellow family on TV? Have no fear, we’re gearing up for a summer of fun in TSTO! As EA has released the latest content topic and start date. You can check out that info here.
Of course, there’s still stuff going on in our games right now. We’re nearing the end of our little Cayman Island Offshore teaser. Thoughts on the teaser? Did you buy the Cayman Island Banker?
ICYMI…there was an all-new episode of Addicts Live yesterday. We talked Offshore Banking, the next event, rollback glitch and more. Be sure to check it out here if you missed it.
How about the rest of your weekend? Memorial Day Weekend here in the US, and a holiday weekend in the UK, anything fun and exciting going on? Enjoying your Spring? Ready for summer?
So chat about the Simpsons, TSTO, Update fun, or anything else you can think of! (Just no politics, it never ends well) Can’t wait to chat with you all, you know we love hearing from you!
Have Fun! And happy Sunday!

Happy Sunday!
Say I get a Springfield heights daily challenge and skip it, and then get a cash daily challenge in its place. After I wait the necessary time I skip it again and get a one donut daily challenge. What are the odds that once again skipping this daily challenge will then fetch me a 3 or 6 donut daily challenge in its place?
Or is it more random than that?
BOBQ – Very random. I sometimes get to play basketball for Donuts (3 baskets for Donuts) or the dreaded send 13 * for 1 Donut which I ALWAYS swap out. I get more Donuts sending 13 peeps on regular tasks……
My fave is sending Apu or Moe for a few seconds to get 3 or 6 Donuts. Doesn’t happen often but when it does I’m in cholesterol heaven☺️………💜X
I’m pretty sure that three resets per day is all you get…luckily, the third choice is almost always a task for donuts.😁
Hi MAB
I’m having a difficult time trying to design my town with the new buildings as of late. Is it me or is EA making buildings taller and taking up more land tiles? I was curious what would happen if I went past 999 track pieces for the Monorail. I found out today because I have 1003 small track pieces. I guess the numbers just keep going up. I wish EA would give us the option to be able to clear all character tasks with one tap. Anyone with highly populated town knows whst I’m saying. I really hope the new event won’t have Krustyland content in our towns. I’d rather place everything in the Krusty Land Event in our amusement park area instead. Have a great long weekend everyone I hope you’ll be safe especially for those bracing for the hurricane on it’s way. Look after one another and treat your neighbors as you would have them treat you.
Happy Holiday weekend to my neighbors and other fellow tappers
Have been traveling with limited internet access, so have not been in the game much lately. Home now so am looking forward to a new event.
Glad late spring is here enjoying the longer days. Hope the week ahead is a safe and peaceful one for all.
Hi Carie…have a nice holiday😁.
Hi Ebron, hope yours was a good one.
So let’s talk Itchy and Scratchy Land. I’m trying to figure out will it take place in Springfield or will it be in a separate area like Krustyland?
I don’t think it will be In Krustyland or different area like Kustyland.
I’m hoping they will open up a new area in Springfield
(like Springfield Heights)
P.S: “We have run out of Bort License plates” 😛
It’s not going to matter for me because I have reached the building limit. I have pared down my forests, and removed buildings, flowers, and some of my other decorations. I don’t know what else to get rid of. EA IF YOU’RE READING THIS…. PLEASE GET RID OF THE BUILDING LIMITS! The fun for me is designing my town, but EA has made that impossible.
Krustyland items don’t count towards your Springfield item count, so it would be great if we could have an event there👍😁.
I would like it to be Krustyland add-on like Heights is to regular Springfield. And with a monorail like Disney going between the parks. 2 monorails. Wow. That would be worth going to Krustyland.
I’d really like a better way of organizing all the loot I’ve accumulated. At least if I could sell more of the items I’ve got I wouldn’t need to organize it better. It’s not a huge deal but less is sometimes better. Happy Sunday All.
I’m looking forward to the new event. Added the banker this morning. I really like the “I’m on a Rolla gay” airplane since I did my undergrad in Rolla, Missouri.
Rolla, Missouri! My family is from Bland!
Ok so I just had item limit warning again, misread it the first time but the limit says 7900, what gives???? Thought it was more that that
The overall limit is actually 10900 items but the warnings start to appear in the late 7000s I believe. I have not hit the first limit warning yet in my town and I feel like I have thousands of items already in my town. The item limit will probably increase by another 100 or so with the next event to fit all the new items in your town.
Thanks
What happens when you want to get more than 10900 items? What kind of message will appear?
They congratulate you on reaching the limit for items placed…how’s that for nerve? “Congrats…you can still buy stuff, but you can’t place it anywhere, ha-ha!”
But you really can’t place stuff anymore? I mean they can just say it…
https://flic.kr/p/26xnrR1
Very nice👍😊
JUSTIN- Super cool. My fave posting of the year so far (besides Alissa’s news)….💜X
It is a warning ONLY. Ignore it and play on.
Hi MAB!! Happy Sunday all!!
Hi Mab! Hi Andy check your settings and make sure your confirm donut purchase is checked.
Will simpsonswiki still be adding unreleased content?
They’re under the same NDA we are… so no
Happy Sunday everybody! Late again.
Anyway super bored with the game so only playing once a day until the next event. My emotions are so mixed. If it’s in Krustyland it’s going to suck, if it’s in Springfield, it looks really cool even if I only have enough land to do anything but pile it up in a corner.

Hello addicts, I have just rolled back after I had the RBG and I lost 6 weeks of tapping. Ive been keeping an eye on my donut count since and I some keep disappearing. My questlines and money/xp are fine just my donuts? Anyone else? Thanks ☺️
Hi,,,so yesterday I was emailing back & forth trying to get a rollback…I have to go back to Feb & of course he kept telling me to uninstall/reinstall. Finally he said he forwarded my prob. I really want to do this before the next event hits,,,, what route did u use to contact them?
I emailed them through their report system in the game. Got a email reply within an hour or so which basically said needed to call or live chat. I used the live chat and after about an hour with them I got the rollback. Hope this helps
I got the generic responses from EA to start with but I just, nicely, said I wanted a rollback. Tbh the reps I got were more than willing and very helpful
I tried to use the callback option,,but it was greyed out. Thank u for ur response!!
Same problem with donuts disappearing for me Andy. I noticed i lose the last donuts i got when i go to krustyland or logout. For instance, if i get 2 boxes from leveling up i’ll get credited the donuts from the first, and the next ones will go missing as soon as i leave.
Hello from Saudi Arabia! For all the Americans–hope you have an enjoyable Memorial Day weekend and for all Muslims– Ramadan Kareem.
Hi everyone. Haven’t posted in a long time. Got a new job so have been super busy, but have been keeping up with my tapping. Congratulations Alissa on the newest addition! And happy belated birthday to Wookie. I keep checking, just never have the time to post anymore. Hope you all have a safe holiday. Happy tapping. 🙂
Firstly, to our fabulous hosts and their families…
Congratulations Alissa, Mr Andrew & Miss Riley!!!

So had a nice quiet weekend at home sorting out my movies and music on my external hard drive – a job that is complicated by a computer that likes just turning off if it feels it is working too hard! When I moved I didn’t bother connecting my TV as I planned to sell it as it was over 11 years old and took up way too much space (not a flat screen!). But on Friday my folks sent me a flat screen out of the blue (2nd hand from a neighbour downsizing) – been having fun watching movies on a normal size screen again instead of a tablet 😄
And then when I finally started pottering today I managed to start getting some garden lights organised. By the time I finish work it is completely dark these days and, even if I remembered to turn on the veranda light before leaving, it is very dark on my side of the house. Got three lights set up today so it won’t be so bad anymore and adding one or two more in the future will be fairly easy. Hope I got the waterproofing right but with the limited rain we’ve been having that probably won’t be a problem! 😞
We had quite nice rain last Sunday but since then not much. Although we are predominantly a summer rainfall region, some years we can get quite good winter rainfall. But so far this year the weather fronts moving along the coast from Cape Town seem to be heading offshore before they reach us. Hopefully my rain dance will convince them to stay onshore for a little bit longer so we can have some winter rainfall too!
All ready for the next event to hit. Been fairly busy at work so haven’t got into my SF as much as usual – apologies to my neighbours for my lack of visits ☺️ Still doing a little RTT farming here and there in order to be ready for the next big thing because I’m sure donuts will be required to get most things… I’ll be ready! 😄
Hope everyone has a great week.
Anyway, time for a shower…
🇿🇦😄🇿🇦😄🇿🇦
Hi mab hope you have a good week 🙂
Hey man and yes since I’m a teletivly new player I can’t get the donuts from KEM farming so I might miss a couple thing in this new event but hopefully next update I can get some premium characters!! Hope the TVs nice lol.
Capetown? I visited there & Gansbaai way back in 1998. What a wonderful place to visit & spend 3 weeks!
Happy Sunday MAB, hope your rain picks up. Have a good week.
Hi MAB, hope you get the rain you want. We basically went from winter to summer and never got those April showers to bring May flowers. I did plant a couple tomatoes in pots. I just have to remember to water them!
MAB – Happy Sunday. I’m just picking myself up off of the floor having read ‘nice rain’ in your opening dialogue. That’ll never be two words you read together from me! I’m super pumped that we just had a bit of sun for our Bank Holiday despite the intermittent thunderstorms. Funny how we all react/view our different climates. A good couple of years in Blighty and I guarantee you will hot foot it back to 🇿🇦 quicker than Roadrunner or Speedy Gonzalez😂. Anyway, have a super dooper week, enjoying your flat screen☺️……..💜X
Hi MAB, Happy Monday🌸
I sure wish I could send you some rain☔️☔️☔️.
Been raining here everyday for two weeks…3 1/2 inches since yesterday…and Alberto is bringing more. This really is too much of a good thing, my yard is all squishy when I walk outside and we’re developing a 🐸pond in “the back forty”.
Believe me, I would send it your way if I could😊.
Hi!
Hi MAB!! Hi all!!
torbisob343: I apologize profusely for reckless tapping that resulted in vandalizing your Springfield. I NEVER do that intentionally. I guess that’s what I get for visiting my neighbors while riding in a moving vehicle.
Wouldn’t it be great if we could move our Krustyland and this potential new area to the Springfield Heights side of the mountains and scrap Krustyland tickets and change them to normal currency.
That’s what I’ve always been hoping for. I do love the items in Krustyland, just don’t like the fact it’s basically a separate game.
Yes, yes, yes! If they would move it to main Springfield then it would make it so much more palatable.
I like the idea of moving Krustyland to Springfield/Springfield Heights.
I’m sure the kids of Springfield would like that too. 🙂
As for changing Krustyland tickets to normal currency, you can do this!
If you go to Krustyland and tap on the Krustyland entrance (Krusty’s face)
you can exchange the Krustyland tickets for normal play currency.
DAVID – Nooooooooo! I love my Krustyland and taking trips to the fun fair. I know I’m in the minority but it’s true. I’d like mor action there, that’s all……💜X
I need more SH heights land for all the high end items we’ve gotten lately, plus I want to place my airport that’s currently in inventory there. On another thread someone said they hope it’s an island, like the episode. I’m totally down for that. I’ve got plenty of ocean tiles still available.
SB GIBBS – Agree with SH comment. Really have heaps of stuff to go there too.
Happy tapping all, just checking in, got a 7000 item limit warning on friday????, Stopped doing the railyard for 5 donuts, taken to long as requesting the same resources all the time, make more xp sending my characters on jobs, with collided on and Ken farming, new event sounds interesting, looking for presidents at the end of June i hope, missed out on past events, to many bugs going around are EA trying to get rid of us?????, Have a great week all
Hi Keith and thanks for becoming one of my new friends last week.
Have a great week.
Jackie H
Interesting new banner! Congratulations!
Believe it or not, I am at level 939 and still don’t have:
Jasper, Disco Stu, Luanne and Professor Frink. Yet I have skins for each of them.
Those will be the last characters that I get. Right now there are only two other Pc’s that I can get through the regular store (sherry & Terry, and Santa’s little helper). There are two skins available. The vault occassionaly has a new character, or a skin that I need .
What characters are you missing that might be surprising?
Happy memorial day!
The sleep easy motel!!!
Happy Sunday all! Get my hubby and daughter back home tonight…..theyve been in D.C. since early fri for her 8th grade trip. It’s been me and my little man all weekend! Fun date nights with him….but want my WHOLE family back for Memorial day! Its soooooooo hot! Where did my spring go? 40s to 90s is not a transition! Lol
Take care and be safe! Happy Memorial day early🇺🇸🇺🇸……No matter how u feel about the government…..thank u to all our service people….alive and those passed on! God bless!!!😊😊🇺🇸💜
With an Itchy & Scratchy event on the horizon…fingers crossed we’ll finally get Lester and Eliza in TSTO…after all, if it weren’t for them, I&S wouldn’t even be around anymore.
Happy Sunday everybody.
Happy Sunday Rudolph.
…..and to you too☀️☺️…….💜X
Hi…hope you’re doing better…glad you’re still chatting with us😊.
I reported the lag issues to EA and eventually they responded that they want me to do a traceroute; I told them I tried but it would not work, just says downloading but nothing actually happens. They sent me another email simply stating “do a traceroute”. I play on a Kindle…anybody have any suggestions or experience with this? Thanks in advance, have a lovely day!! : )
Hey I forget who but someone told me to pay for the collider and do a bunch of one hour of quests. This got me 11 level in one day 3 days later and I’m at exactly 40 levels higher. Thank you and I’m 2 levels away from 100.
I wish the airport stuff would be available again. I keep getting planes but I have no airport.
Happy Sunday (and Memorial Day weekend) everyone!
Haven’t posted much lately (new job and now-expecting wife have had a tendency to scale back my tapping fun) but I always check in. Glad to see you all still rock. 🤘
Peace! ✌️
