Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Well, it’s that time in Springfield…time for the final Act! The final Act of Moe’s Ark that is. It’s 10am here on the east coast and that means it’s time for Moe’s Ark Act 3…so have at it, assuming you can get into the game of course!
Yes, odds are the servers will likely be down. We should all be used to it by now…it sucks but complaining won’t help.
Remember…this is an automatic change in your game. Nothing to download, it should just start up in your game..
Questline should start right up for you and you’ll have to do a 4hr task with Larry Kidkill.
Act 3 runs until September 12th (when Moe’s Ark will end)
Just what does Act 3 have in store for us? Let’s take a look…![]()
New Prize Currency for Act 3
Based on the questline, let’s assume this is animal DNA…
So the ability to earn
is now gone. Your counter prize track for Act 2 has reset to zero because you have zero
. So get cracking on those ![]()
You’ll earn
very similar to how you earned
during Act 1….
-Clearing Park Visitor Tappables (earns 4
/tap)
– Clearing Visitors in your Neighbor’s towns (earns 4
/tap)
-Daily Challenges (400
/each)
-Sending Characters to Volunteer (
earning varies)
-Sending/tapping Invasive Toads to neighbors and in your town (earn 4
/sent and/or cleared in your town)
Act 3 Personal Prizes
Chicken Pulled Chariot– 25,400![]()
Mad Dr. Hibbert– 35,600
(Skin)
Crafting Currency (3000 Sanctuary Grants)– 45,900![]()
Teenage Homer– 72,200
(Full character)
Act 2 Prizes…
If you didn’t collect them all… you can still access them by tapping on the “ACT 2” tab in the Personal Prizes area. As you can no longer collect items for them, your only option now is to pay donuts to outright buy each one left at the point you left off at. (Just like every other event recently.)
Upgrades
Upgrading Habitats remains the same as it was for Acts 1 and 2 in Act 3, only you’ll have one new Habitat to upgrade.
The Free Habitat unlocked via the Act 3 questline…
Warmongers Habitat (although this looks more like something out of Pokemon than a Zoo)
The Habitat has upgrades available to unlock extension pieces and additional animals. We’ll cover that in an upgrade post (likely up tomorrow).
Hopefully, you saved up your upgrade currency
so you can get a jump start on upgrading! Remember the extension pieces (as well as the Habitat help increase your Arrangement Bonus within the blue area).
Remember….
You earn upgrade currency from tapping Zoo Visitors, sending characters to Volunteer, clearing Zoo visitors in neighbors towns, invasive toads and the prize track. (you can also purchase them for donuts in the store)
Once unlocked, new characters will have tasks at the Warmongers Habitat to Volunteer. Those characters are Chief Wiggum, Snake and Mad Dr. Hibbert.
New Items in the Store…
New cash items available…
Wild Animal Kingdom Sign- $100
Again, I really like that they’ve eliminated traditional crafting and went back to adding event themed items to the store for cash. Gives a purpose for cash. Hopefully, they continue with this for future events
New Premium Items available…
Yo Yo & Worm Train- 150 Donuts
Returning Premium Items available…
Bob Clones Bundle- 60 Donuts (leaves 9/4)
Pro Shop & Space Coyote- 120 Donuts (leaves 9/4)
Golden Calf Idol- 30 Donuts (leaves 9/4)
Premium items still to come during Act 3…
(these are coming off a list sent to us by EA, so don’t shoot the messenger if they don’t hit the game or something is off with them)
Giant Lobster Scorpion- (arrives 8/31)
Returning Pet Mutant Seedling, Frink’s Robot Dog, Homer Dog, Maurice, Concert Hall & Mozart, Imaginary Bear & Pokey (arrives 9/5)
Rosh Hashanah Special (arrives 9/8)
And before you ask…
Here’s a list of posts we’re working on that should be up soon…
-Act 3 Calendar
-Act 3 walkthrough
-SIB for New Content
-And more!
So be patient, the info you need will be up soon. 🙂
And that my friends concludes the quick rundown of Act 3!
Remember this is just a quick rundown…as we have time to play through the Act ourselves we’ll break everything down in more detail.
Thoughts on Act 3? Just like you pictured it? Excited about these prizes? How’d you do with your Act 2 prizes? Will you be buying any of the new premium items? Sound off in the comments below. You know we love hearing from you!

I’m really hoping that EA surprises us and adds the “Fantastapotomus” (complete with twice-daily singing show) somewhere in this event. If they’re putting in fake animals, why not one that they mention in the show? Also, I kind of expect Teenage Marge to appear sometime, probably for way more donuts than she’s actually worth…
I thought we were going to see more Serfsons 😭. Not too enthused over act 3 other than teenage Homer
Thanks for the quick response Patric.
Why in the Blue Hell do we need a Flying Brachiosaurus or a Chicken Pulled Chariot? The designers on some serious pharmaceuticals. O r maybe they need more to have better ideas.
I feel your pain ….. after all, we got aquatic / nautical thrown into the mix with zero explanation (let’s just hope Halloween and Christmas Events are more logical)😅
Hi everyone. Does anybody know if the habitats can be upgraded after the event?
Not known at this time…However, as this is a new way of doing things, and eliminating crafting, they could treat it like they do Springfield Heights (and it seems to act that way). So…possibly.
My thoughts are not likely. We never got to upgrade our castles from the clash of clones event after the event ended …….. I’m still waiting to continue upgrading my rides from the the I&S event since it’s similar to the monorail crafting.
Ack! I was going too quick and not paying attention and created two warmonger sanctuaries. Definitely not the one i wanted to make two of. Doh!
Teenage Homer is a desirable character but he feels so shoehorned into this that it kind of detracts from getting him for me.
It’s nice to read that a lot of people have been enjoying this event. For me, I would have rather had an “Australia Invades Springfield” event and earn characters from Bart’s fiasco in Australia. Or a Nostalgic 70s Flashback to the way we was and have high school versions of Homer, Marge, and Dondelinger.
Because I’m an addict, I’ll get all the prizes, but won’t be spending any donuts on the, ahem, “worm” bus. 🙄
Australia
I like that themed idea (are you paying attention EA?) 👍
Character Skins for the Adults turning them into Teenagers
This works for me! 👍 Two Act Event – 4 Weeks – Old Premium Characters at Discount (ie Barney with Bowl-o-Rama) – Land Token for each Building (seriously! your suggested idea sounds awesome!)😀
This Space Coyote is a full playable character?
Regretfully…yes.
Find Building shows an exclamation mark (!), yet there are no characters not in use when I go to the “Volunteer at”(s). Yet when I send all my characters on a job it disappeared. Anyone know which character is causing this anomaly?
Never mind… it was Dr. Hibbert.
How do you use him. I can’t send him to volunteer and there is nothing from his task list. That ! is driving me crazy! ha ha
I imagine he will be used later (Lisa has a task that mentions him).
Thank You for solving this for me/us
I guess once his skin is unlocked he’ll be usable ?????
Dr. Hibbert
It will bug you, until you finally get the Character Skin Mad Dr. Hibbert (and you get to use him)🤷🏼♂️
Act 3
Yay! More Free Land Tokens and Mad Doctor Hibbert (who looks like Dr. Moreau from Island of Lost Souls) and that’s about it …. I don’t know if I even want Warmonger’s Habitat (lack of land available?). 🤔
I hate to be a buzzkill – quite content with what I’ve obtained already and the Zoo looks nice – as once again it’s an Act 3 that looks so underwhelming I just don’t want to Grind (sorry, not sorry, EA). 🤷🏼♂️
I will definitely not spend even 50 donuts on that stupid character and her non useful train
I’ve named my worm Willy… he’s smaller than I expected. No pun intended 😉
Do people actually have excess event currency?? I haven’t even finished upgrading my great plains, or whatever it’s called. How do people have left over upgrade currency??
My thoughts exactly – unless they’ve been buying it for donuts – I have one last piece of the Great Plains to get. Should have enough by tomorrow. And that’s with 3 premiums and the park generating upgrade currency.
You got the name right exactly and I haven’t even finished upgrading the Great Plains yet either (I’m only on level 4 and have Sarah as my only premium helper purchase) but I think it depends on players buying the premium characters and park and how often they can log in.
I hope EA allows it so that we can continue upgrading it after the event ends but maybe have a limit of how many habitats we can have (maybe 5 or 10 of each type like the Springfield Heights buildings) since upgrading habitats reminds me of upgrading Classic & Modern Mansions, Exclusive Resorts and Beach Hideaways and getting their extensions.
Sorry to say this, but I wouldn’t count on any upgrades after the event…usually when it’s over, it’s over. Get what you can, while you can.🙂
Yeah, I was just thinking it would of been a good idea to upgrade these once the event is over but knowing EA its likely that won’t happen.
With my peek-em-park purchase early on in act1 I was able to compleate my greatplains upgrade right before the act ended.
I wouldn’t worry about that last piece of the greatplains for now if your struggling & just go for the animal upgrades for the act3 habitats.
I have a feeling I won’t be able to upgrade these last habitats all the way before this act ends.
Honestly a bit disappointed in the part 3 prize track… but glad I stopped by to read this, as I was mostly disappointed by the lack of another exhibit… completely forgot about the Warmongers! And I am glad I saved my donuts for YoYo and the Worm Train, as I am a huge Ghibli fan, even if they are just far out references. This is a cool event overall, as I want just about everything… I broke down and bought the donut bundle with Butterfly Maggie skin, and this KEM farming grind is still killing me! I wish more was available for in game cash.
Are they Ghibli references that just aren’t clicking because I’m not awake yet? I thought (aside from the worm train) Dot and the Kangaroo when I saw Patric’s post. What have I totally forgotten about?
Maybe I’m reading into it but… to me it’s Spirited Away. The Kangaroo really looks like Haku when he’s in dragon form and the girl is Chihiro. I think they were on a Japanese show called Cloud Palace or something (Castle in the Sky perhaps?). Not sure about the worm train (because I don’t know why it’s a worm) but they do ride a train in Spirited Away.
Well…it is n an episode for five seconds. T-Rex shows the show to Lisa on his iPad.
Hmm. Yeah, I’ll keep working through this event because I can use the land tokens and sanctuary grants to upgrade the habitats I already have, but other than teenage Homer, I expect everything else (including the Warmongers habitat) will be going into storage. And hell no on the worm train! Thanks as always for all the info!
Seems to me that right at the last moment someone from EA with a bit of sense (but not much) came in and saw how messed up this act was getting and in an attempt to ensure that everyone keeps playing stuck a good desirable prize at the very end of the track.
Ha. I’m still having glitches. On act one. Finished levels do t want to waste for second habitats but did on baboon. Still no panda. Not liking this event as much. Too confusing. I’m grateful for the help we get from this I cannot thank you guys enough.
Have you tried scrolling down on the Animal Selection menu?
I didn’t earn T-Rex in Act 2. But, I didn’t really expect to, due to my level of play. Can anyone that earned him suggest a reasonable amount of donuts that you’d be willing to spend to buy him? I believe that he’d cost me around 50 donuts. Thanks!
He isn’t voiced…but he is a full character. He’s kind of a jerk…but, he is a full character. So…it really comes down to if you want him in your town. 50 is the max I’d spend.
Thanks, Patric. I’ll wait to see how I feel about him towards the end of the event, and may pick him up then.
I got close, but came up short. Cost me 10 donuts and well worth it.
He is playable and gives you event currency.
I would hold off on the new sign and statue, as the last two Acts wound up having the purchase of these type of items being part of mini quests.
Excellent advise.
If you were to buy them like I did as soon as the Acts started, it’s worth knowing you can store them to complete the task (rather than buy a new one). At least that is what I was able to do in act 2 and I think in Act 1.
I’ve found that if you put your already purchased item back into inventory temporarily, it tricks the game into thinking that you just purchased it.
If do you purchase the items (signs, fences, statues) ahead of the mini-quest, you can store and un-store to meet the quest w/o re-purchase
Yes, I had already purchased them, but if you store and replace it completes the task, so buy early if you like them.
When that happened to me in the last act, I just stored the item I’d already purchased, and then re-placed it – it seems the task is to “place” rather than “purchase”.
I want teenage homer though…
Thank you for the SIB
Thank you for the Calendar
Thank you for all the information
Thank you
Thanks for the helpful info on the new event!
I had an unexpected bonus. I went to neighboreenos that were close last night and dropped some toads. With the event start this morning, some had been collected and I had 200 DNA right off the bat. I didn’t recall that happening before.
WORST.event.act.ever. See ya in 2 weeks TSTO
LOL… Says someone during every event. But, I have to agree…this one was really cobbled together with spit and bailing wire.
Why are we earning frogs?
To give to your neighbors.
It’s pretty much a total let down, I agree. I sure won’t be playing as avidly as I did for the first two. I was really liking building a zoo and hoped for another set of actual animals so was really bummed out by the nasty looking beasties. But, overall, for me it’s been one of the better ones they’ve had in a longish while.
I feel exactly the same. Really disappointed in the ‘animals’ for this act. I will focus on getting and upgrading another of the Act 1 / Act 2 habitats instead.
Is the worm train like the stone cutters tunnel where you can build pieces and to make it an actual train? Or isn’t it a stationary item?
Checking it out now. Will let you know.
UHM…NO. It is a stupid…static thing that floats when you tap it. Ugh. But, the giant kangaroo is a full character.
Rats! I was hoping it was another flyer, like the money balloon and the attack helicopter. That would have made it worth the sprinklies.
Thank you so much! I was going to buy it if it could be a an actual zoo train but since it is just a single item I’ll probably pass. Thanks again!
It. Is. Ridiculous. Lol!
I pretend it is a zoo train. And put railing beside it.
Ummmmm…..WTFudge??? Some one was seriously gopped-up on goofballs with this prize track…..
I DO love the little sloth looking guy in the new habitat.
GOOFBALLS!!!!!
Yep, not sure how these mutant animals fit in with the rest of the animals but I’m willing to see what neighbours come up with… yes the sloth is cool but not sure about the prize track prizes 🤔
The probably fit better next to Moe’s zoo.
These guys will eventually end up in my Fantastical Creatures section, along with the peek-at-you critters, the 3 headed bully dragon, the Burns dragon and grey-stache (the tree guy). It all fits pretty well in Angelica Buttons World.😁
Agreed! That is really the only place it works.
I will be using mine for a second zoo, in Kang and Kodos’s little village I’ve cobbled for them…
Now I just need to figure out an entrance…
Thanks a lot Alissa! 😘
Thanks Alissa ! while reading these posts the last few days I keep wondering if you’re actually in labour and about to run out the door ! Best wishes for you and your pending arrival !
She wrote almost all of these posts before she went “off of the grid” for baby duty… Her version of “nesting and prepping”
Sorry if this has already been asked and answered but; when this is over do we get to keep the habitats if we didn’t finish all the upgrades? I dont want to spend event currency to get a duplicate habitat.
Yes. They stick around.
Thank you, for everything. You all do a great deal of work and it is very appreciated.
Ill work for teenage homer
Sounds like the lyrics of a song
Why must I work for a teen – age – er Home – er
(My mind is truly warped. And even though I was a child of the 60’s, I didn’t inhale)
Crash! Haha – always the same eh? Someone should sell them some scaleable hardware for new releases 🙂
