TSTO is back baby! We’re FINALLY getting on, what feels like, a somewhat normal update schedule! Praise Jebus! We’re back to multi-events for this one. So love them, or hate them, they’re here to stay at least (likely) through the end of the year. The theme of this multi-event? Simpson Babies…
Side note: Anyone else have this them song immediately stuck in their head upon hearing this update was called Simpson Babies? They’re really taking this “owned by Disney” thing seriously…
Anywho….things kick off with 6s tasks for Lisa, and Bart. This then kicks off the Simpsons Babies Multi-Event!
IMPORTANT NOTE: Seeing a bunch of you report issues with Amazon devices crashing with this update. I, unfortunately, have no way to personally verify this. My best advice, is likely something y’all don’t want to hear, you’ll have to contact EA on this. I’ll drop the direct contact link here for you, so you don’t have to go searching for it. As soon as I see any updates on this I’ll post about it. In the meantime, if you do contact EA about it please keep me updated about what they say.
Another IMPORTANT NOTE: For some reason, even if your game sound is off, when you start up TSTO it starts playing ambient sounds. It’s incredibly annoying when you’re at work and something EA needs to fix immediately. If your sound and sound effects are OFF, they should remain OFF.
**For part 1 you’ll need to send Marge and Homer on a 4hr task and collect 50 Broken Toys. To collect Toys you can send: Bart, Lisa, Homer, Marge, Grampa, Maggie, Milhouse, Baby Frink, Baby Moe, and Baby Barney (New Premium Characters)**

As I mentioned yesterday, no Event Packet from EA was provided this time around. If we do receive the packet I’ll update y’all with some words from EA regarding the event. Until then…business as usual around here.
We should all know by now unless of course, you’re new to TSTO that the prizes for this event follow the same questline format to unlock as our regular mini-events do.
Just like Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Game of Games etc before it, this is not your typical Major Event. And there are pros and cons to that, and everyone will find their own pros and cons. And some people’s pro will be someone else’s con.
As always, I just ask that you have an open mind, and reserve judgment until we’re into the event. It’s 4 weeks long (and remember for the past few years we’ve been complaining that events that are 6 weeks plus are just too long). It should be fairly easy to complete. You’ll unlock a bunch of new prizes. No crafting to grind through. Just have some good old fashioned TSTO fun. And, as long as you don’t rush things, you won’t get bored because it’ll change each week!
As I stated above, the initial quests are 6s tasks for Bart and Lisa. Once completed you’ll start The Younger Games questline, which is the week 1 story to follow. This is how you’ll unlock the Week 1 (Act 1) prizes…

Bart: Wait wait wait, you’re leaving us to babysit Maggie? We don’t know the first thing about–

Lisa: Don’t panic! I’m sure she’ll fall asleep soon and we won’t have to do anything.
Maggie: *suck* *suck*
Bart: Suck suck? What’s that supposed to mean? And what smells like a double-stuffed diaper?
Bart And Lisa: Aaaaagh!
Lisa: PANIC!!!!
6s Tasks for Bart and Lisa
Lisa: There, I changed her! We didn’t have any clean diapers, but I used a dog sweater that Santa’s Little Helper rarely wears in the summer months.
Maggie: *suck* *suck*
Lisa: She needs her bedtime story! But I used all the baby books as baby wipes, since we were out of dog sweaters.
Bart: Then we have no choice but to make up a thrilling tale of mystery and suspense that will instantly bore her to sleep.
Lisa: Agreed. And all the characters need to be babies. Everything needs to be baby-fied.
Bart: I prefer the term… “Youthenized”.
Maggie: *gasp* *suck*
Lisa: Once upon a time… there was a virtual world, swarming with babies!
And this triggers the entire story premise for each act…
(and yes, just like I did for the past multi-events, I’ll be posting full dialogue for this one before each week is over)

Land Tiles
Because I know I’ll be asked…as of right now I don’t see anything awarding Land Tiles. Nor do I see the Golden Goose Realty coming back with this event.
This may be corrected with a patch during this event, but as of right now I don’t see a way of getting more land with this event.
I’m sure GGR will come back at some point, just have to wait it out a little longer.

No info from EA this time around, so I couldn’t tell you until Act 2 hits

Oddly enough, I grew up about 5 miles away from route 401. And no I did not get the northern residence allowance (let’s see who get’s that one. I am counting on Safi coming through here)
Now, I live close to a Springfield (one town away) and people just don’t get it when I refer to it as Springton!
Alas, no northern residence allowance for me either. Live next to Hwy 401 like the Simpsons too.
When I worked in “the center of the universe”, people who worked in the “center of the universe” used to think that anyone who lived north of the 401 was eligible for the northern residence allowance.

just cleared out the youngsters box. Had 6 items…240 Ds isn’t too bad, considering they would have been 60 last year and even more if I bought them outright. Also still about 60 Ds cheaper than Gil’s deal for just 2 characters (although they do earn event currency). I’m loving farming and surprise boxes! I’m kinda glad I waited to start farming bc now I can get all those things I passed on originally, at a much discounted price! I probably will still spend on Baby Frink and Gil’s deal, but it was fun to clear out the youngsters and have many other quests to do during this event!
Uh-oh Muppet babies song will now remain stuck in my head all day!!! Great…,LOL Took Gil’s deal and got Baby Frink! My TSTO want meter is running very high! This event caught me with my pants down. I have been spending lots of donuts on some remaining junk in the yearbook just because I was bored. At least I had time to grind for more. Baby Frink & Baby Moe with Baby Barney are must haves! Thanks for all the info!
This was the first time I made a Gil purchase. ☺️ I also scooped up Frink and the Pitas. I didn’t get a mystery box because I already have the items.
On Android and seem to be having same issue as some of the Kindle users – game plays for 10-30 seconds and then boots me fully out (not a bart screen)… 🙁
Waaah…. earning 49 toys/4h (Marge and Homer excluded) with all the characters in action…
J’accuse! EA did it intentionally.
Alas, you have to wait 8 hours to finish part 1; or spend 2 whole donuts to finish in 4 hours.
The worst was that when I discovered it was 49 I sped up Baby Frink. And forget that I already accelerated Marge from toys to youthenize. So I was momentarily confused why Frink gave me 13 toys iso 8….
Ah well… doh…

Harvested 1145D in the afternoon, emptied out the surprise box, picked up everything else moving around and even made Gil happy for the first time in my life… 286D left…

Alas, some readers cannot wait a minute.
Every time I try to log on I get a screen that reads “New Update available! Want! Want!” and it takes me to the App Store. I updated yesterday. Anyone else having this issue? I closed out TO and App Store and it happened again.
Android device here. Anyone still stuck on that update catch-22? Updated to the latest version but when you open the app, it’s asking you to update? I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled but still the same.
iOS, but yes, same issue. It’s terribly frustrating!
Perhaps because your storage is crammed full? Maybe off load some apps that you are not using or remove pics/videos?
There’s was a new update and problem is fixed.
So the Dodgeball Court shows up in the prize box at 40 donuts and in the main section at 150 donuts.
And I’m pretty sure it’s in the Yearbook as well.
Someone at EA really screwed the pooch on that one. These mystery boxes need to be 30 donuts max since we can just use the Yearbook now.
Not only those mentioned can earn event currency, Baby Moe and Baby Nelson also does (which is offered with a Gil-deal!) – they earn New Premium-rate
