The update has hit the game server, so I’m going to release some spoiler images.
Why?
Because we’re all bored at home and need something exciting to help us pass the time.
This is on the server, BUT I don’t see the download available just yet. Give it a few more hours and it’ll likely pop up in the App Stores for download. Correction, it’s now available for download…at least on Google. BUT remember, just because you download it today doesn’t mean it’s live yet.
This event isn’t scheduled to go live until TOMORROW, Wednesday, April 8th, at 10am ET.

missed opportunity (we get Weird Al non voiced but no Brett ‘ the Hitman ‘ Hart – got to heckle EA online to change that) but did you get Mexican Duffman? 😀👍🏻?
Mexican Duffman is a bit of a sore spot for me. I lost him during the rollback glitch a little while back, and for whatever reason, he is not available in my yearbook. First world problems, I know…but I needed him, to, borrowing a phrase from another franchise, catch ’em all. –
I got Duffman w/Duff Beer Factory + Ms. Duffman Character Skin in the Mystery Box (but it never came with Mexican Duffman – so a win for me), but I’m so sorry you’re one of the role back glitch victims (and EA still hasn’t offered up a solution to that!) 😮
O frabjous day!!! Went into the Vault today, out of habit, expecting to see the same 4 items, but the first offering was Mexican Duffman! It might be rainy and cold here, but it’s a sunny day in my Springfield! 🙂

yep it’s new event time! because i’ve been signed out and every attempt to login is met with the same login error screen i’ve gotten every event since christmas 2017 and i miss the first 4 days of the week 1 &mmm and have fallen behind so much missing out on items because i’d not be able to login for 2-3wks on a few events. good ol ea
That’s a cache glitch (Alissa left easy instructions, but I’ll tell you quickly 1 – clear the cache in your Game App by 2 – using the App Menu in your Phone / Tablet’s Settings Menu and yeah that’s almost better than rebooting your device – which you may end up doing if you are using under 4Gig RAM).
The update is live, but the quest not… Inside the game everything is as it was before the update, no requests for starting any new quests or jobs, it changes only the splash screen. At least for me it’s like this. Is there anyone manage to play any new quests inside the update?

No problem logging in here whatsoever. Ya´ll yonder are fast asleep so maybe a bit of relieve on the servers 😉

changed password, couldn’t log in; deleted app and reinstalled, able to login BUT it’s saying I’m logged in on another device (I only have 1 device), not sure if I’m supposed to let it resolve itself or play now (I don’t want it to lose my game); now back to not being able to log in again with new password. *sigh* hopefully it will fix itself when the update goes live.
Just hit “play now.” You don’t lose much, maybe your last jobs $$, but it’s minor, if anything at all, in my experience. Usually, you lose nothing at all.
Play now. it does that after a re-install or if you clear all data and do the huge download again.

Wrestling was fun back then. No chairs, just jumping from the top of the ropes and landing on the throat of the opponents.
Laying on top, coming so close to a pin when the guy on the bottom twitched and the fellow on top was tossed6 feet away..
But then, this was when Roller derby ruled the local tv stations.
And bowling

I do remember managers like the Grand Wizard and “Classy” Freddie Blassie. And who could forget “Captain” Lou Albano, who ended up as Cyndi Lauper’s dad in the “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” video.

Sorry for the double post…WordPress had me log in, which I thought I already was, and somehow the double post happened.
So this post isn’t a total waste, I think my favorite wrestling conceit when I was younger was when a wrestler would lose the “Leave Town Forever” match (or something with a similar name), and then show up the very next week wearing a mask, and ABSOLUTELY NOTHING COULD BE DONE ABOUT IT! LOL!!!!

If you recall, Grandpa as Gorgeous Grandpa Wrestler was Montgomery Burns’ idol in his youth (and the fact we may potentially have a Springfield vs Shelbyville Wrestling Leagues does seem like fun!) Even had Grandpa and Bart Simpson as a tag team! 😀
I’m loaded with 🍩’s so either I will get new Premiums, or rush anything deemed a grind, or (let’s see what Wednesday brings because these Wrestling Characters have been a long time ‘bucket list’ for me). 🤘🏻

FYI for those who are not getting a notification that there is an App Store update, search for the game in the App Store & an update should appear for you.
Little amazed we’ve got another event suddenly given the circumstances… It could just be that it was already completed and waiting in the pipe, but only EA can be certain on that.

If you are having trouble signing in as I did uninstall and download the app again and that should solve the problem
that’s the only way i get to play when the login error happens but it’s on every play i have to reinstall it. so every 4hrs in events i’ve gotta spend half an hour reinstalling. it can last anywhere from 4 days to 3 weeks but it’s every single event since christmas 2017 for me
Very recently got back into KEM Farming. Looks like these few dozen KEMs, planted over the last couple of days, was just in time for buying some premium wrasslin’ content! 😃

Yeah, I downloaded the update and got Bart staring at me instead. Under normal circumstances, I’d flip out. BUT, considering that Ted and Steve in I.T. are probably working at home right now, I think I’ll just wait patiently for a while and hope it works tomorrow at 10am. I’ll just go watch the Mets game in the meanti…. oh, right, they’re not here, either… man, this just isn’t a good week!

Looks like the standard event fare: 4 weeks, tokens, mystery boxes, returning content and sprinkling of new items.
Would not mind some good ol´grinding for a change. Especially with all this spare time….
I updated about 20 minutes ago. The game logged me out and now will not let me log back in. Anyone else having this problem?

Me too! Word of caution – I did the password re-set and was finally able to log in, only to find that my game had been rolled back several weeks, to before the last event even happened. All the new buildings, characters, even land I purchased – gone. I have a ticket in, but if you’re having login problems maybe try reinstalling the game before you go the reset password option.
yep, every event since christmas 2017 i get logged out & the login error for at least 4 days into the event
EA seems to be down. Updated the game at 5:50 pm and can’t connect to server. I hope this is resolved soon, or at least by tomorrow when this new round of “fun” starts. Hopefully, this event won’t disappoint! Stay safe tappers!

I updated the game. It logged me out. Couldn’t log back in

Deleted the game from my iPhone, rebooted iPhone and reinstalled game
I was finally able to log in!
Where is Professor Werner von Brawn? I can’t say i’m interested in the event but just hope I’m not squeezing so much time into this event as the last one.

Was forced to log in again, yet the password won’t be accepted. I changed password, and it still won’t let me sign in. Ugh. Seeing the new splash screen and not being able to play is almost as tortuous as bart’s screen of doom!

The update is available on iTunes now too. But as you wrote, the event doesn’t start today so all that’s changed so far is the title screen and the icon for the game.
Wow this is going to be more interesting than I thought! I think right off the bat I’m most excited for Tofu Bell! No idea where I’m going to put it but it needs a special place.
