Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

IMPORTANT NOTE: Act 2 is slated to start TOMORROW, June 19th (which also happens to be my birthday…that’s for the extra work EA 😉 ).  Act 1 isn’t going anywhere, so if you didn’t finish it you’ll still have time to. Look for Act 2 to start around 11am ET.  (1500 UTC)
You’ll need CBG and the Evergreen Terrors (x4) free for the first round of tasks (and those earning event currency).  Also, 1 new premium character combo will be released.  150 donuts for the combo.

Now on with the full dialogue for Act 1…

Simpsons Wrestling Week 1 Is Live! (Updated and Complete)

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Update time in Springfield!  We’re all getting antsy sitting at home, so it’s nice to have an update to focus on!  And highly amusing that it’s based on wrestling, when this may be how some of us are treating our families after a few months of quarantine!  😳

Anyway…what’s in store for us this time?  Well, it’s time for Burns and Aristotle Amadopolis to have yet another clash of tapping proportions! Loads of dialogue with this one, so be sure to read along to see what happens! And of course, I’ll be posting it as each week wraps up…

Simpsons Wrestling Event SPOILER INFO!

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

SPOILER ALERT, SPOILER ALERT!

The update has hit the game server, so I’m going to release some spoiler images.

Why?

Because we’re all bored at home and need something exciting to help us pass the time.

This is on the server, BUT I don’t see the download available just yet.  Give it a few more hours and it’ll likely pop up in the App Stores for download.  Correction, it’s now available for download…at least on Google.  BUT remember, just because you download it today doesn’t mean it’s live yet.

This event isn’t scheduled to go live until TOMORROW, Wednesday, April 8th, at 10am ET.

On with the spoilers!  If you don’t want to know, don’t click below….

(Minor) SPOILER ALERT!! Wrestling Event Info!

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Some exciting news…

EA must know we’re all getting antsy at home because, for the first time in a very long while, we’ve received the content package for the next event from EA…BEFORE the event hit!  Which means…we can share some details in advance with you guys! Remember, we’re all under NDA, so please bear with us as we can’t share EVERYTHING we know until EA tells us we can (which is usually how we operate anyway). And/or the event hits the game files.  But we have the green light to release some basic info about the next event.

So no more guessing, we now know WHEN the next event will start and WHAT the next event will cover!  Pretty exciting stuff huh?

So I know there are a bunch of you who like to remain spoiler-free (and this, to me, will not violate our spoiler-free policy as this is information provided to us directly from EA.  They’re giving us the go-ahead to share…) I’ll post the WHAT below the fold. However, as we all thought, the next event will start tomorrow, April 8th

So be prepared on Wednesday, April 8th for the event launch

Now on with the spoilers…

Friday Filler – I Think My Math Killed the Game…Sorry!

Thank Grog It’s Firday!

I don’t usually take much notice of conspiracy theories…unless I am the one who is spreading them.  However, I think I may have taunted “Bob the Part-Time EA Programmer” into actually killing the game out of spite.

The fact is, I’ve been calling the programming lazy for months. And on top of it, I have bragged that I just Donut Farm between events to allow me to save enough donuts to pretty much rush the entire event.  It’s pretty basic…even though I am a “Casual Donut Farmer” as described in Safi’s posts.  I farm just enough to keep my cash pretty much static, or slightly growing.

That of course all changed, when the “Wailing Wall Glitch” hit and we were able to boost the holyfreakinshirt out of our Bonus % ratings.  I went from around 800% to a little over $1250% before the ITEM LIMITS stopped me from going further.

I think that is where the trouble began. And now…I think that Bob is gunning for me, and perhaps taking you all down with me.  BUT THERE IS A SOLUTION!

Friday Filler – When EA Gets it Right…

Thank Grog It’s Firday!

I’m not going to go so far as to say that EA/Gracie always get it right. Far from it.

HOWEVER… this game continues to evolve…EA continues to listen…and the best part of it all (when compared to other mobile games), it JUST KEEPS KEEPIN’ ON!

I’m really not sure how many of you play other Mobile Device games.  I admit to being pretty limited.  Mostly because almost none of them hold my attention.  I’m not into “Shoot ’em up” games, or games that require loads of time each session.  But, more important, I am not a fan of games that get “stuck” in one mode…and bore me.

I am going to ask a very specific question…and I am asking the good folks at Gracie Films/Fox, and specifically Matt Groening… “Why In The Hell Did You NOT Choose EA for your Futurama game?”  I get it for Family Guy. After all…Seth McFarland likes to “be different” (while mostly copying other shows for his content).  But, Matt…you have a good thing going with EA and Tapped Out…what made you flip to Tiny Co for Futurama??

I can’t imagine it was the answer to that question might be. But the much touted, “Futurama Worlds of Tomorrow” should be renamed to “Futurama…not much future tomorrow.”

But, this isn’t about piling on to Tiny Co.  This is a post about the recent things that EA has done, to prove that they still care about the game, and the best choice for Tapped Out. Even if they make us nuts once in a while!
