Just a reminder that the Cirque du Springfield Event Ends TOMORROW March 16th.
It’s time to for the Circus to head to Shelbyville and for something new to arrive in Springfield!
As far as questlines go, what’s happened in the past is that the current prize you’re working on (on any Act questline) you were able to finish. Once that current prize was completed then the questline disappeared.
This means that you will want to make that final push to gather up all the things you want from the Event before it goes with the Event.

Feeling fancy? Then Cirque de Puree is for you. But which one will rein supreme? It’s up to you to find out in the latest event in TSTO…Cirque du Springfield!
Act 4, the final act, of this circus event ushered in one new premium character to help navigate finish off this event. Scuzzo the Clown is an all-new premium character for Springfield, who will not only help earn event currency but also comes with a short questline.

Spending actual cash on donuts for a character is back in TSTO. This is something EA’s been rolling out over the last few years, and it’s a new bonus for actually spending cash on donuts. (instead of just farming them) Where they attach a premium, limited-time, character to one of the donut bundles sometimes in addition to bonus donuts.
And I want to be perfectly clear…you do not need to buy these characters to complete an event. You can still play this game, and complete all the tasks and prizes, 100% free. These cash-for-character items are a new type of premium currency…because donuts have been so devalued with donut farming.
This time around we’re being offered Mr. McGreg, a premium character, for a tray of 132 Donuts ($9.99 in the US)..no bonus this time around. While it’s hard for me to sit here and tell you if you should or shouldn’t spend actual cash on the game (spoiler, I think you should always spend at least a small amount…even if it’s $.99/year on the game if it brings you joy and you want to see it continue) I thought I’d do a quick breakdown of Mr. McGreg, his tasks, questline and other details you may be curious about.

It’s that time…calling all Addict Designers! We’re getting ready to do the next Springfield Showoff, and this time around I want to see what you’ve done with the Cirque du Springfield event stuff! With new and old buildings and decorations arriving with this event, show me how you fit them into your Springfield! So prep those towns…because we want to see what you’ve done with your Springfield!
As always please remember to limit it to 1-2 of your favorite areas/photos…we can’t show your whole town unless you want to send in your entire town via town portrait.
So use this time to polish up your town and show us how creative you can be! Send in your holiday-inspired designs (by 8 pm ET Tuesday, March 15th) and we’ll be putting up the Showoff post featuring your designs on Wednesday, March 16th.
Remember, your designs can be anything and everything from the Cirque du Springfield Event, new and old, and how you worked it into your Springfield
So grab some screenshots of your town, or finish up those designs…just make sure to send your submissions in by about 8 pm ET Tuesday, March 15th, can’t wait to see what YOU have come up with.
You can send your designs in two ways…either post a link to the image in the comments on this post or you can email them to us at TSTOAddictsblog@gmail.com. We won’t be pulling images from anywhere else, so please if you want to be featured either submit in the comments below or email your images to us.
Note: PLEASE try to limit your submissions to only 1-2 of your favorite screenshots. We like to try and let everyone showoff their town but it becomes difficult when some of you are sending in 7-10 images. Pick your favorite areas and send them in (or if you stitch photos together, that works too). We’ll try our best to get EVERYONE in, but please understand that sometimes we miss a photo or two. If we miss you one week, we’ll try really hard to make sure we get you in the next week. You’re always welcome to showoff your town, at any time, on our Flickr page. We know a lot of you have awesome towns that you want to show off, but please try to stick with this week’s theme. Remember, this isn’t a contest. There’s nothing to win. It’s just a fun way to showoff your town and get some design inspiration from your fellow Addicts. 🙂
