Valentine’s 2016 and the Conform-O-Meter

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Valentine’s Day 2016 is officially over in Springfield.  While it wasn’t a huge event, it did still bring a bunch of new buildings and decorations.  And it brought back some items of Valentine’s past…

So now that it’s all over, it seems like the perfect time to share with my favorite Addicted Tappers just how these items impact your Conform-o-Meter rating.

The Conform-O-Meter is an important part of Tapped-Out because it provides you with a bonus boost in your cash and  XP from everything you collect in the game.  When you achieve a 5-Star Town (it’s max rating) you will receive a 5% bonus on all money and XP collected in your town.  If you missed the previous Conform-O-Meter posts check here for the basics and here for how many points you’ll need to reach 5 stars.

While the Valentine’s event brought no changes to the Conform-O-Meter requirements,  it did bring us a few new items to add to our Springfield.  Let’s take a look at how all of the “goodies” impact our rating: Continue reading →

Turbo Tappin’ Largest Redwood: Treehugger Lisa

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

The Largest Redwood dropped into our games yesterday.  Like some events in the past this is an “upgrade” item.  When you’ll spend the time to upgrade the tree from Level 1 up to Level 10, until you’ve got the Largest Redwood Tree in your Springfield!  To find out more about upgrading the tree check out our rundown post here.

Once you’ve maximized your Redwood Tree you’ll unlock Treehugger Lisa!  She’s finally arrived in Springfield…to save the town from itself!  Treehugger Lisa comes with her own questline, so let’s take a look at just what happens when you unlock her in your Springfield…

In-Game Update: World’s Largest Redwood (Updated and Complete)

A little in-game update has hit our tapping devices…

This is kinda like “busy work” for TSTO.  No real prizes (ok 1 prize…tree hugger Lisa)…basically it’s like Money Mountain…upgrade, upgrade, upgrade.  More details coming…

Bart kicks things off…you’ll also need Lisa free for the first task. (And Milhouse and Lisa for the second part…)

The Valentine’s Day mini event hit our Springfield’s recently and with it arrive a whole bunch (of a couple) of Valentine’s Day themed prizes for our Springfields!

This event is designed to follow a series of tasks via the questline to unlock prizes.  For each of the first 5 parts of The Golden Age of Swingers you’ll have to earn indicator_heart via various character tasks in order to unlock the prize for that part. The final prize you’ll unlock for this event is the one, the only..Mona Simpson!

The Valentine’s Day mini event hit our Springfield’s recently and with it arrive a whole bunch (of a couple) of Valentine’s Day themed prizes for our Springfields!

This event is designed to follow a series of tasks via the questline to unlock prizes.  For each of the first 5 parts of The Golden Age of Swingers you’ll have to earn indicator_heart via various character tasks in order to unlock the prize for that part.  The second prize you’ll earn is the lovely flower cart…and when you reach Prize 4 you’ll unlock the Starline Commander..Grampa’s classic car!

Valentine’s Day Prize Guide: Coconut Babaloo (Original and Repaired)

The Valentine’s Day mini event hit our Springfield’s recently and with it arrive a whole bunch (of a couple) of Valentine’s Day themed prizes for our Springfields!

This event is designed to follow a series of tasks via the questline to unlock prizes.  For each of the first 5 parts of The Golden Age of Swingers you’ll have to earn indicator_heart via various character tasks in order to unlock the prize for that part.  The first prize you’ll earn is the Coconut Babaloo…and when you reach Prize 3 you’ll unlock the Facade to bring Coconut Babaloo back to it’s original “like-new” condition!

Turbo Tappin’ Valentine’s Day 2016: Main Questline and Prizes

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

It’s time to get that lovin’ feeling, as Valentine’s Day has hit our Springfields!  A fun new mini event that’s focused around Grampa and his swinging days!

Of course, as with all events, a questline comes with it to help move us through the ins and outs of the event…and unlock all of the prizes.  As was mentioned on the rundown post this mini event is similar to the Thanksgiving 2015 Event and the more recent Deep Space Homer Event, in that you’ve got to complete various tasks to unlock the prizes.

So let’s take a look at the questline to see just how to unlock all the fun prizes and finally bring Mona back to Springfield…
