It’s Independence Day in Springfield! Time to blow stuff up and eat loads of Banana Kabooms! So now that we’ve got a little more red, white and blue in Springfield, just how do all those new items impact the Conform-O-Meter? As we’re approaching the halfway mark of the event, I thought now would be a good time to take a look at how all of these items impact the Conform-O-Meter ratings.
The Conform-O-Meter is an important part of Tapped-Out because it provides you with a bonus boost in your cash and XP from everything you collect in the game. When you achieve a 5-Star Town (it’s max rating) you will receive a 5% bonus on all money and XP collected in your town. If you missed the previous Conform-O-Meter posts check here for the basics and here for how many points you’ll need to reach 5 stars.
While the 4th of July Event brought no changes to the Conform-O-Meter requirements (Level 42 did though!), it did bring us a ton of new items to add to our Springfield. Let’s take a look at how all of the new “goodies” impact our rating:

Look in the sky… it’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s a…. a… a…. giant freaking restaurant. What the what?
Well, by now all of you dear readers are in the thick of the July 4th event goodness and I’m sure you’ve noticed that EA had added a new aspirational building to the mix. Costing $10,000,000 game cash, it is by far the priciest item EA has brought to us on the freemium level. It requires you be at Level 35 in your game and helps out that Gluttony rating on the conform-o-meter. Did I mention how massive this thing is? It’s 9×9 and really tall with a continuous animation of the top spinning. It is purely aspirational and does not earn anything for your town but those are just game details… you didn’t come by here for that, did ya? Let’s get into just where this monstrosity of a restaurant comes from.
