Obedience…a submission to another’s authority.  In TSTO public buildings all help contribute to your Conform-O-Meter Obedience rating.

The Conform-O-Meter is an important part of Tapped-Out because it provides you with a bonus boost in your cash and XP from everything you collect in the game.  When you achieve a 5-Star Town (it’s max rating) you will receive a 5% bonus on all money and XP collected in your town.  If you missed the previous Conform-O-Meter posts check here for the basics and here for how many points you’ll need to reach 5 stars.

Ah Springfield home of the Swanky Fish, Krusty Burger, Lard Lad, El Chemistri…wait what was I talking about?  Oh yea Springfield’s restaurants!  Not only are they home of some delicious food, they also help contribute to your Conform-O-Meter Gluttony Rating.

Why Can’t We Be Friends: Breaking Down the Socialism Rating on the Conform-O-Meter

Ah neighbors..those pesky people with out whom you’d have no power tools to “borrow”.  And in TSTO they’re the friends you can’t reach 5 stars with out!  Your social interaction with your neighbors plays the main role in your Conform-O-Meter Socialism Rating.  So by being the social butterfly and having neighbors and visiting them regularly you improve your Socialism rating & you’re that much closer to maxing out your Conform-O-Meter.

Points to Perfection: Conform-O-Meter Points to Max Out the Conformity Bonus

Yesterday we took a look at just what the Conform-O-Meter is and how it benefits Tappers (You can view that post here).  Today let’s take a look at how many points you’ll need at each level of TSTO to achieve Conform-O-Meter perfection.

To maintain your 5 Star Springfield, and maximize your Conformity Bonus, you’ll need to keep up with the point requirements for each of the 8 categories at every level. Keep in mind that for every new level added to Tapped Out EA adjusts the point requirements to maintain your 5 star town.

Conforming to EA: Breaking Down the Conform-O-Meter

The coverage of the Conform-O-Meter is long overdue here at Addicts, and my apologies for not getting it you addicts sooner!

The Conform-O-Meter is something we’ve been mentioning on Addicts for a while now, yet some newer tappers (and older ones too) might be wondering what the Conform-O-Meter is and why it should matter to you.

The stars on the bottom left of your main Springfield screen (next to the level) show you the current rating for your Springfield.  These stars are based on your Conform-O-Meter rating, and show your conformity rating.  Your conformity rating can range from 0 to 5 stars (1/2 stars are awarded as well) and indicates how well your playing the game based on EA’s standards for TSTO.  The game will award a bonus percentage for every star, or half star, you earn up to 5 stars.  For example 4 stars equals a 4% bonus.  The bonus is applied whenever you collect money from character tasks or building rent.  The image above is from my Springfield, and as you can see I’m at 4.5 stars.  Continue reading
