Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Welcome to another edition of From the Mouths of Addicts, where YOU get to sound off on anything and everything in the world of Tapped Out!  We’ve got another post from one of our long-time friends and she who is brave enough to run Futurama Addicts and Family Guy Addicts…Russian Tigger! 

Somehow, between writing loads of posts for FWOT Addicts and FGA Addicts, RT found the time to knock out yet ANOTHER a fun guest post for TSTO!  (such an overachiever!)  This time, fitting in with another hot topic from earlier this week, she’s tackling the Nuclear Option!

So a few days ago I started to get twitchy and considered nuking my Springfield… again. I thought long and hard, but then remembered the last time I went nuclear it was almost 6 months before I saw my beloved Stewart Duck wandering my now radioactive empty streets. Yup, my favorite thing in the whole game disappeared in a puff of atomic ash and I was left suffering radioactive shock and vowed that I’d never go nuclear again. Continue reading →

Diary of a Wookiee: Getting Medieval on Springfield

Oi Oi Oi!  How are all my favorite vikings, mages, elf lords, goblins, orcs and hobbits doing?  Anyone geeking out with me right now?

So unless you’ve been living in a bunker for fear of the unknown, you know that a Clash of Clans (CoC) Parody is upon us in TSTO.  While I’ve read mixed reviews about this new event, I give EA an A+ for doing something no one was expecting. As far as requests from tappers go, I don’t think I ever saw someone say they should bring elements of a strategy game to TSTO.  Admittedly I don’t hang around too much on other forums (who has the time?) but I’d remember seeing that because my first response would have been “Oh dear Jebus, please no!”

Last week we asked you guys what FOX Animation show YOU would most like to see get the next mobile game…and as I suspected you guys overwhelmingly picked your favorite!   Now, we’ll get to the results of the game poll shortly, but first I want to know if Ol’ Gil has presented you with an offer you can’t refuse.

Yes, Gil’s back in Springfield and this time with a donut of a deal, but is this deal worth your cash?  I want to know if you still have a soft spot for Gil and helped him out or if you said “forget it buddy!”:

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Last week we asked you guys if you were planning on nuking your Springfield.  This week we wanted to share those results with you, but also have a little fun with a new poll!

Addicts Want to Know: To Nuke or Not To Nuke….

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Well it would seem as if we’re in a bit of a summer lull in Springfield.  With the Yard Sale not bringing any new content, beyond Mayan Marge, for many Tappers…we’re all starting to feel the lull in game play.  In my opinion these lulls have ALWAYS been the perfect time to work on some redesigns of Springfield.

During our Sunday Night Open Thread this past week, several of you commented that you’ve taken advantage of the Nuclear Option and are taking advantage of the lull & completely redesigning your Springfield.  While others expressed concern  for wiping out their whole town.  So here’s what I want to know….

 What are your thoughts on the nuclear option?  Have you pushed the trigger yet?  How do you feel about the lull in the game right now?  Sound off in the comments below, you know we LOVE hearing from you!
